ABBEY is a Super-Cool BATMAN FAN!!

OK, Now, how cute and adorable is this Little Batman Fan? LOTS!! This is Abbey and she is showing us her new BATMAN T-Shirt that I bet she totally loves! This is the Daughter of a friend to this site, Andy. He was kind enough to share this wonderful family photo with us. The funny thing, for me, is she totally reminds me of my own Sister when she was a little girl. They look a lot like. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - Official Batman Movie T-Shirt Contest Winner

OK, for awhile now we have been hyping a crazy contest held by DESIGNBYHUMANS in connection to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Well, last Friday they announced the Official Batman Movie T-Shirt Contest Winner! The design is called "HELLO MR. WAYNE" and was created by a Graphic Artist named SPYKEEE. It features both BATMAN and BANE in the heat of battle. Plus, I gotta say that it looks pretty awesome! Please click the photo up above for a larger, more detailed, version.

New BATMAN-THEMED T-SHIRTS at Wal-Mart!

This is a quick post to share some good news. Our friend BatDave reported last night that he just hit Wal-Mart on the East Coast and they had a bunch of new BATMAN Themed T-Shirts priced for under $9.00.  Here's a photo showing a couple that he bought ( they're both the same ) that feature a cool POP HEROES Funko Toy Figure image on the front. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - Chris Franklin's Cool T-Shirt Design

You might remember a post we did awhile back where we posted the Press Release for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Official T-Shirt Contest ( Click Here ). It's being held at the DESIGN BY HUMANS website and took submissions for people's T-Shirt designs inspired by the new Batman movie. Well, here is a Bat-Shirt Graphic created by our Good Friend and Artist Chris Franklin ( AKA Earth2Chris ). It features Batman, Bane, and Catwoman done in a bold "Comic Book Art" style. Paul's 1966 BATMAN TV Show Logo T-Shirt - Vintage Family Photo

Here's a wonderful Vintage Family Photo that I'm completely proud to post. This is our Friend Paul, who lives in Canada, and this was taken when he was 3 years old. It's from around 1968  and shows Paul wearing a classic 1966 BATMAN TV Show Logo T-Shirt!! ( Click on it for a larger version ) It was a sick day and Paul's Mom hooked him up with a French "Spirou" Book, a Superman Comic Book, and his favorite T-shirt. Ya gotta love that! Our Good Buddy Frank came across this most excellent Batman "Pencil Sketch" T-Shirt at Kohl's the other night and was nice enough to shoot us this wonderful photo ( Thanks Frank! ). I really like the design of this thing. The "Original Comic Book Art" motif is very cool! It seems like clothing with the Dark Knight is getting very popular and being sold almost everywhere, that's great! Vintage Photo - Anthony's BATMAN T-SHIRT From The 1970's!

Here's a wonderful vintage photo of our Friend Anthony back in the 1970's sporting his extremely cool BATMAN T-Shirt! I totally love the graphics on this and today this RARE bat-item has got to be super-ultra hard to find! ( Thanks Anthony. You rocked then, Sir, you ROCK now! )

JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA OVALTINE POSTER & T-SHIRT Ultra Rare 1960's Batman Memorabilia!

OK, I thought I'd do a quick post to share this ultra-rare piece of Bat-History! These photos are of 2 items that recently sold on evil eBay. One is a Store Display Poster for an offer to buy an OVALTINE Mail-Away Premium "JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA" T-Shirt. Those bright day-glo colors must have been seen by every little kid for a 3 mile radius, ha ha! Then, the next photo shows the actual JLA T-Shirt you could have got back in the 1960's ( I'm guessing around 1966 or 1967 ). Oh man, the retro-style graphics are totally beautiful and it even features Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and The Flash! I wish I had these 2 pieces, especially that poster. But, I guess I'll just have to enjoy these pictures because this stuff is so ultra-rare it will probably never be seen by me in my lifetime. It's what we serious Vintage Toy Collectors call a "Museum Piece".

New BATMAN and THE JOKER Reversible Tee T-Shirt at Journeys

Our Buddy, Ace Bat-Reporter BATDAVE, hit his local Shopping Mall the other day in New Jersey and found this extremely excellent BATMAN AND JOKER T-Shirt at a retail store called "Journeys". It's a "Reversible Tee", meaning that one image is printed on the inside. So, you can turn your shirt inside-out and have a second shirt... a very cool idea! Plus, I'm loving the artwork here.

BATMAN T-Shirt Designs Going Crazy With The Villain BANE!

BANE ATTACK!! I knew it wouldn't be long till the "Batman Merchandising Machine" would start going crazy with BANE items! Yes, they're gonna try to capitalize on the character's popularity because of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie. But what's cool in the recent sudden burst of Bane T-Shirts I've seen they all feature the "Comic Book Version" of BANE! But don't worry, I'm sure there will also be a ton of "Tom Hardy" related-items too. I'm also pretty sure that CATWOMAN is gonna be next and even bigger, MEOW! Here's a few random funny BATMAN-related Humor Photos that will, hopefully, brighten your day! The 1st one is a great parody on THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie Poster. Next-up is a screenshot ( Thanks BatDave ) from TV's "Big Bang Theory" showing Sheldon with a Vintage-Style BATMAN T-Shirt. OK, it's not really funny unless you're a fan of the show. Then, it's hilarious! Then the last photo is some NAIL ART inspired by Vintage Comic Books ( very well done ).

OK, I guess I'm being pretty lazy this morning with this "image dump" post, but I'm soooo tired! But these pics are really great and totally worth checking out so shut-up, ha ha! The 1st one is from "The Dark Knight" movie and the Joker is telling Batman a very mean knock-knock joke, OUCH!



Next up is a hilarious parody t-shirt that a friend of our found online. The shirt uses a special glow-in-the-dark ink, pretty clever.



Oh yeah, I saved the best for last! I say that because I love vintage photos and this one has a very cool history. This photo was from an event held in Northern Italy back in the 1970's. I have no idea what the celebration was for, but all these small children wearing awesome Batman Bat-Suit Costumes is just completely charming & wonderful! BATMAN + CARTOON CHARACTERS = Funny Parody Humor!

This quick post is a collection of funny pictures that revolve around the idea of Batman being mutated with other well-known Cartoon Characters. The examples include a T-Shirt Design with Winnie The Pooh & Piglet as the Dynamic Duo, ha! A reinterpretation of the Golden Age Batman origin story, but instead of a BAT crashing through the window of Wayne Manor it just happens to be a Pokemon creature, ha! Then, last but not least, is a Custom-Made Action Figure showing Patrick, from the Spongebob Squarepants Show, as the Dark Knight, ha!!
