Vintage 1970's BATMAN AND BATGIRL COSTUME Family Photo

I recently became Friends with a cute girl in California named Cyndi who was kind enough to share this amazing Vintage BATMAN Family Photo. It's a picture of her parents, Sharon and John, at a Halloween Party in the 1970's!! They both went as Batman and Batgirl ( or, is that "Batwoman"? ha ha ). The costumes were homemade, which is the best, and Cyndi said she can still remember her Dad cutting-out the Bat-Logos for them out of felt.

One personal note I'd like to share is that, sadly, Cyndi reported that her Dad is no longer with us but, "He would really enjoy the fact that people would see this picture and it would bring them some happiness". That's very cool. So this post if for him. I already know that people will love it because it's fun and wacky! ( Thanks Cyndi for sharing this cool pic!! )

Paul's KICK-ASS BATMAN VILLAINS Tattoo Art Photo!

We  always love it when Batman Fans who get Batman-related Tattoos share pics of the artwork they have recently had done. Here's one from a BAT-BLOG Reader named Paul who got, not only Batman, but a Lot of Villains as well: The Joker, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Penguin, and Bane! The 2nd photo shows the original comic book art that was the inspiration. It's interesting to see that Bane was added later. The Tattoo Artist is named "Bobby No" of Scallywag Tattoos in Miami, Fl. OK, Now, how cute and adorable is this Little Batman Fan? LOTS!! This is Abbey and she is showing us her new BATMAN T-Shirt that I bet she totally loves! The funny thing, for me, is she totally reminds me of my own Sister when she was a little girl. They look a lot like. Pat's BATMAN TATTOO ART PHOTO 1970's Comic Book Logo

OK, Here's the deal. Lately I've been dealing with one crisis after another and my focus is complete crap. I've been stressed out more than any other time in my life, so keeping up with the BAT-BLOG has been difficult. Now, I'm not whining or complaining. I'm just sayin', ha! Anyways, a Facebook Friend of this site, named Pat, submitted an incredible BATMAN TATTOO Photo awhile back and it just got lost in the mix. I was kind of unorganized at that moment and it never got logged-in to post. So, here it is a week or two later and I'm finally posting it, ha! Sorry Pat, Hey, "Better Late Than Never", my Grandmother used to always say. 



But Hey, People, check this out! Pat's Bat-Tat is a 1970's version of the comic book logo and it's really great! In fact, this logo is one of my favorites because it reminds me of my old "comic book collecting days" as a little kid in the 70's and that was a good time in my life. In other words, that BAT-LOGO brings back fond memories. Thanks Pat for sharing your pic & sorry it took so long to get it posted.

NEWS FLASH - Brand New BABY is Already a Major BATMAN Fan!

Here's a photo I know that every single person is going to totally fall in love with. It's way too cute, kinda funny, and completely beautiful. This is a photo from one of our Friends on Facebook who lives in Argentina. He and his Wife just gave birth to a Brand-New Bouncing Baby Boy. The cool thing, this kid is already a Huge Batman Fan!! In fact, He's shown here with his new favorite toy, a Batman Action Figure! Awwwwwww. A Special Congratulations goes out to both Parents & their Families. POW! ZAP! Check out this awesome ADAM WEST BATMAN TATTOO inked by "Bleedink Ink" in Grove City, Ohio. This photo was submitted by our Friend Frank who just got this artwork done showing the Dark Knight ( 1966 Batman TV Show ) doing The Batusi Dance! Vintage Family Photo - Youssef is BATMAN!

The main thing I love about working on the BAT-BLOG.COM is getting to meet other Batman Fans from all over the world. Here's a wonderful example. This is our friend Youssef as Batman and his Brother is Superman. These homemade costumes are totally great! Plus, I hope I got the information right but Youssef and his brother live in Denmark. So, if that's the case, then that adds an extra layer of coolness to these costumes! Hey, if anyone else has some fun pictures like this then please share them, thanks.

Winnie The Pooh and The Dark Knight Together Forever!

Hey, Guess who I saw together at my local Grocery Store the other night? Yeah, that's right, Winnie The Pooh and The Dark Knight himself, Batman! It was so weird. For a short time I had this graphic image from a popular Parody T-Shirt that I was gonna post ( pic #2 ), but then later I found another picture that showed them together. I was saving these for a "Humor Post". But at the time I wished I had just one more photo for a more complete article. A few days later I made a trip to the Grocery Store, when all of a sudden, I turned the corner and BAAAMMM! There they were TOGETHER, ha ha!!

Bruce's BATMAN Bat-Suit Costume Evolution

Once upon a time, many years ago, there was a little boy named Bruce who, more than anything, wanted to be the Caped Crusader for Halloween. So, one year his Mom had sewn him a wonderful homemade BATMAN Costume. It was not the most totally accurate Bat-Suit, but it worked and the important thing was that it was made out of love. Well, on that night Bruce vowed he would someday have the very very best BATMAN Bat-Suit ever constructed. Now flash forward to the year 2011, here it is! ( Thanks Bruce for sharing these great pics. Last, is a photo of a Sand Crab on the beach and for some reason he thinks he's the Dark Knight! The JUNIOR BATSQUAD Strikes Back!!

The JUNIOR BATSQUAD is a group of Kids living in New Jersey who are all total Batman Fans, they're AWESOME! Well, these photos are from a recent field trip where they got to visit a Super BATMAN Toy Collector who has a ton of cool collectibles. While there they goofed around & took these fun pics for the Bat-Blog.



In the 1st one they holding up an extremely RARE Autographed Framed Photo of Lewis Wilson as BATMAN, from the 1943 Serial Movies. I guess you could say he was the very 1st Batman Actor! Sadly, he died in 2000 at the golden age of 80. It's an extremely cool photo.



Next, the Kids are playing with a 1967 BATMAN Movie Prop. Actually, it's a Replica of the BOMB made famous by Adam West. I love the pose of the Boy holding it, just like West in the film, hilarious!!

BATMAN FAN PHOTO - Gene Meets The Riddler ( Frank Gorshin )

Here's a totally cool personal photo sent in to the Bat-Blog. It shows our friend Gene when he got to meet Frank Gorshin, Live in Person, at the Chiller Theatre Convention back in 1999. He said he was extremely gracious & a very nice guy, very down to earth. Actually, this is the only thing I have ever heard about him, that he was just a really great guy to be around. As a little kid I always loved him as the Riddler on the 1966 BATMAN TV Show. It's so cool that he was such a good person too. RIP Mr. Gorshin, you are missed.
