THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - Official Batman Movie T-Shirt Contest Winner

OK, for awhile now we have been hyping a crazy contest held by DESIGNBYHUMANS in connection to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Well, last Friday they announced the Official Batman Movie T-Shirt Contest Winner! The design is called "HELLO MR. WAYNE" and was created by a Graphic Artist named SPYKEEE. It features both BATMAN and BANE in the heat of battle. Plus, I gotta say that it looks pretty awesome! Please click the photo up above for a larger, more detailed, version.

New BATMAN-THEMED T-SHIRTS at Wal-Mart!

This is a quick post to share some good news. Our friend BatDave reported last night that he just hit Wal-Mart on the East Coast and they had a bunch of new BATMAN Themed T-Shirts priced for under $9.00.  Here's a photo showing a couple that he bought ( they're both the same ) that feature a cool POP HEROES Funko Toy Figure image on the front. Our Good Buddy Frank came across this most excellent Batman "Pencil Sketch" T-Shirt at Kohl's the other night and was nice enough to shoot us this wonderful photo ( Thanks Frank! ). I really like the design of this thing. The "Original Comic Book Art" motif is very cool! It seems like clothing with the Dark Knight is getting very popular and being sold almost everywhere, that's great! Diego's BATMAN TOYS AND MEMORABILIA Collection from México City!

Just recently, here at the BAT-BLOG.COM, we have got emails from Brazil, Germany, England, and the Netherlands! Oh man, I totally love the Internet! It's so cool to connect with other Serious Batman Fans from around the world. Like the content of this post, here are some wonderful photos of a very cool BATMAN TOYS AND MEMORABILIA Collection from México City!



All this great stuff belongs to our Friend, Diego. He's been collecting since around the age of 8 ( He's now 22 ) and his favorite items in his collection are some neat Plush Toys. He said that he won them at the Six Flags Theme Park in Mexico. I have to admit that my favorite item, if I had to pick one, in all these pics is that HUGE GIANT-SIZE ACE, THE BAT-HOUND!! That thing is cool! But really everything here is great! Diego has a very nice collection of Action Figures, Statues, T-Shirts, Batmobiles, Graphic Novels, Comic Books, etc... I think it's really neat to see other people's collections. I wanna thank Diego for taking the time to shoot these fun pics, I really appreciate that, "Muchas Gracias Diego!!"

Fun Wacky BATMAN News and Artwork!

OK, in my BAT-BLOG Bat-Folders, I have some pics that are kind of random so I thought I'd post them all as one big fun article. Hey, it's neat stuff so don't start cryin', ha ha! The 1st pic is a wonderful piece of Batman Art done by our Friend Troy Lowndes. It uses images of different Actors who have played the Caped Crusader: Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney. It's hilarious!


The next photo has a funny story. Our friend BatDave was told that a certain Video Game Arcade on the Boardwalk in NJ had a Vintage BATMAN MOVIE Pinball Machine. So, he gathered up the "Junior Bat-Squad" ( His Cute Nieces ) and ran over there. When they got there they found out it was the newer "Dark Knight" version. but, they all had fun playing the many different machines. Of course the Batman one was their favorite but they also loved Ironman & Spiderman!



The last 2 photos are just some very recent FAMILY GUY Batman-related T-Shirts that just came out. I love the one with Brian The Dog screaming, "I AM BATMAN!" The next one features the cast of the show as the Retro-1970's Super Friends! You can find these shirts right HERE!

BATMAN T-Shirt Designs Going Crazy With The Villain BANE!

BANE ATTACK!! I knew it wouldn't be long till the "Batman Merchandising Machine" would start going crazy with BANE items! Yes, they're gonna try to capitalize on the character's popularity because of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie. But what's cool in the recent sudden burst of Bane T-Shirts I've seen they all feature the "Comic Book Version" of BANE! But don't worry, I'm sure there will also be a ton of "Tom Hardy" related-items too. I'm also pretty sure that CATWOMAN is gonna be next and even bigger, MEOW! Fashion - Tokyo Girls Who Love Batman!

While surfing through the SUPERHERO STUFF website the other night, to see what brand-new Batman products there are out there, I came across these super brand-new BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY T-Shirts. Of course they feature graphics from the video game. Some of them focus on the logo or other generic graphic art, while the others revolve around Bat-Villains like Catwoman, The Riddler, Harley Quinn & The Joker. DESMOND Models His New BATMAN T-SHIRT From Old Navy!

Late last night we got some wonderful photos in our email box from our very best super friend, Desmond! He's shown here modeling a brand new BATMAN T-Shirt he got recently at Old Navy. His Mom said, "Old Navy has been carrying Batman merchandise on a regular basis now and I continue to find great tees there."


In the next photo we see Desmond wearing his favorite Bat-Mask! His Mom said, "This kid is obsessed with the bat! We also found a Batman ski mask for adults that he has been wearing for a week now...we are lucky to get him to take it off for dinner and bedtime. He gets that mask on and runs around whispering in a spooky tone "I'm Batman". We think it's quite possible he thinks he really is Batman!"

More New Photos From BATMAN LIVE World Arena Tour in the UK!

Check out these 2 wonderful photos all the way from England. Our friend, Michael, who lives in Leeds, went to the BATMAN LIVE event in the UK ( Super-Jealous! ) & took these pics. The 1st one is an advertising standee of Batman that he saw in the foyer of the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle. I begged him to steal for me but he's a good citizen & would not do it, Ha Ha!



Then, Michael got this great shot of the Official "BATMAN LIVE" Souvenir Merchandise they have on sale. It looks like there are many different T-Shirts to choose from, a few Ceramic Coffee Mugs, a Program Booklet, and even some Batman Cowl Masks! ( Be sure to click on the photo for a larger version ).
