More BATMAN Bat-Mania Madness at 2012 San Diego Comic Con!

Check out these incredible pics shared with us by our good friend Chip. He went to the recent 2012 San Diego Comic Con & got these great batman-related photos!!

First up is a HUGE Promo Banner near the DC Comics Booth that features BATMAN AND ROBIN with artwork by Frank Quitely, beautiful!

Then, speaking of Advertising Banners, here’s another one for a new Batman Video Game future-release.

The next photo is a Batman Japanese Shogun Warrior-type Figure. This was made by FUNKO who just makes extremely excellent stuff. We think this figure is a SDCC Exclusive because it’s all “Black and White” ( the original one is color ).

Then we get to see a new “SUPERMAN VS BATMAN” Statue based on Frank Miller’s THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS Graphic Novel. OK, we actually saved the BEST for last! Here is an Original “Marshall Rogers” Comic Art Page offered by some vendor. It's both so beautiful & complete torture!! ( Thank You Chip! )

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - New BATMAN TOYS and Products to Keep an Eye Out For!

This is just a quick post to share some photos of future BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie Toys and Products to keep an eye out for! The 1st image is a Plush Doll by a Toy Company I really love, Funko! Next up is a really weird product & I actually don't know what it is or what it does, ha ha! It's called a "Batman iPad Apptivity Case"??? So, I guess you hook it up to your iPad. If there are some Apple Geeks out there who know what this thing does then please let us know. Third, Continuing their line of character-related Mr. Potato Head Figure they will release THE DARK KNIGHT Spud! He’s the spud Gotham City deserves, but not the spud it needs right now.

New BATMAN-THEMED T-SHIRTS at Wal-Mart!

This is a quick post to share some good news. Our friend BatDave reported last night that he just hit Wal-Mart on the East Coast and they had a bunch of new BATMAN Themed T-Shirts priced for under $9.00.  Here's a photo showing a couple that he bought ( they're both the same ) that feature a cool POP HEROES Funko Toy Figure image on the front. You can't beat 9 bucks! ( Thanks BatDave )

New BATMAN ROBOT Funko VINYL INVADERS 11" Toy Figure

OK, this is pretty cool! Here's a new Batman Collectible Figure coming out later this year from FUNKO TOYS! I seriously love this Toy Company because they make fun stuff. But, this is kinda weird too, ha! Here's a BATMAN ROBOT Vinyl Figure with a heavy "Vintage Japanese Toy" Influence in the design. It's sort of like those "Shogun Warrior" Figures made by Mattel in the 1970's. It measures about 11" tall & I really like the packaging too. Look for it around July 12th, 2012.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - NEW BATMAN TOYS From Funko!

Funko has released some promo images of some of the cool products they're going to be coming out with in 2012 for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman movie. I love their toys so this is great news! First there are a few "Wacky Wobblers", or Bobble-Head Nodders, of BATMAN and BANE. Don't worry, they will probably make a CATWOMAN too. Then, they have done those 3 characters as POP HEROES Vinyl Figures. The last photo shows an ultra-cute BATMAN Plush Doll... AWESOME! I'm sure this company will come out with even more stuff so stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG.COM

Brand-New BATMAN and JOKER FUNKO Toys For 2011!

I'm pretty excited to mention here that FUNKO TOYS will be releasing some brand-new toys & products towards the end of 2011 that involve Batman and the Joker! First, in October, they will release a pair of BATMAN and JOKER Wacky Wobbler Bobble-Head Nodder Figures. They both look great and I love the Vintage Silver-Age Style!



Next, FUNKO has come up with a totally new product called "BLOX Figures" and you gotta admit, they're very very different! These toys have a strange "blocky" look. They will be making ones of Batman and Joker. Look for these around November, 2011.



Oh yeah, that second photo of the Batman Blox Figure in the Box is a special 2011 San Diego Comic Con Exclusive that has "metallic" paint & limited to 480 pieces.

More New BATMAN MERCHANDISE To Look For!

Here's a quick post to show a few Brand-New BATMAN ITEMS and COLLECTIBLES to keep an eye out for. It looks like FUNKO is continuing their line of DC Universe POP Heroes with the TWO-FACE Vinyl Figure! I don't know why, but I really like this one. Maybe because it's so gosh darn cute, ha! Next is an item that true BATGIRL Fans will really love. Over at the HOT TOPIC website they're selling DC Comics "Girl Superhero" Beauty Products. For an example check out this BATGIRL BERRY LIPGLOSS! I actually really like the packaging design. Then, last but not least, is a DC Universe Action Figure of ROBIN from the YOUNG JUSTICE TV Cartoon. This new toy was spotted at Target.

New Funko DC Universe POP! Vinyl Figure Toys Coming Soon!

Here's a prototype picture from the recent 2011 Funko Toys Catalog showing the 2nd Wave of DC Universe POP! Vinyl Figures. Now the main reasons I'm listing them here is because one of them is Batman-related, Two-Face! But the other Superheroes are cool as well: Hawkman, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, & Shazam! Right now there is no exact release date but I'm guessing sometime around August. Stay tuned to the Bat-Blog & we will let you know ( We'll also have some sharp photos of the actual products as soon as possible ).

Brand-New FUNKO BATMAN Merchandise & Products

Shown up above for a few Funko BATMAN TOYS that we have already announced here at the Bat-Blog as new products coming out. I just mention them because we have new pics of their display boxes ( packaging ) or we have pics that are not prototype photos. Then, we have brand-new pics of some merchandise we didn't even know about until now. That would be the Funko BATMAN Bobble-Head Air Freshener Toy & the BATMAN PEZ Dispenser-shaped Funko Wacky Wobblers ( Actually, all 3 new items are "Nodders" ). Oh man, this is great news because all of this stuff is very cool! Note: The PEZ Nodders are wayyy bigger than actual PEZ Dispensers & don't have necks that pop-back to give you candy.

BATMAN FUNKO FORCE - DC Universe Bobble Head Figures!

Anyone who has been reading the Bat-Blog for any length of time knows I am totally goo-goo over Funko Toys, ha ha, so check these out! Here's some wonderful photos of the brand-new FUNKO FORCE Mini-Action Figures ( with Bobble Head action! ) that will be coming out! At first I was just gonna show the BATMAN & JOKER ones, because this blog is mainly about "collecting Batman stuff", but the others were so cool I decided to add them too, ha ha! The extras include: SUPERMAN, GREEN LANTERN, & AQUAMAN. Oh man, I am totally loving these cool new toys & the JOKER one has got to be my personal favorite, ha! FUNKO BATMAN BATMOBILE Wacky Wobbler Bobble Car Toy

OK, I know that I have reported this news to death but I just got some very cool pics of this new FUNKO TOYS product & I wanted to share them. So this will be a very quick post. Here's an Official Photo of the "Wacky Wobbler Bobble-Car" showing the retro-style Batman & Batmobile in all their glory, pretty awesome! The next 2 pics show the original prototypes of this toy, in both the black & blue versions. Yes, this toy will be created in two colors to make us buy them both, ha ha! But if you just bought one, which color do you like the best? ( Yes, I know I don't have a finished pic of the black one so you'll have to use your imagination ). Personally, I'm totally digging the "blue one", because it reminds me of the Vintage SUPER POWERS Toy by Kenner.

New BATMAN TOYS Funko Force 2.0 Mini-Figures!

Right here at the Bat-Blog, about a week or so ago, we announced a brand-new Batman product coming out in October 2010 from Funko. They are some 3 3/4 inch mini-figures called "Funko Force 2.0", and they're AWESOME! Well, at the time we only had a small picture to show as an example but now we have some beautiful high-resolution pics, here they are! We got Batman, Robin, Batgirl, The Joker, & The Penguin!! There will also be a figure of the Riddler but we don't have a decent photo right now, stay tuned. Oh yeah, Funko Toys will also be making a "Batman Computer Sitter" & "Batmobile Wacky Wobbler Nodder". To check them out, just click HERE!

New BATMAN DC Universe PRODUCTS By Funko Toys!!

There's a toy company I really love named Funko & they're mainly known for making Wacky Wobblers ( Character-Related Bobblehead Nodders ). Well, they now have the license to do DC Comics Comic Book characters. Yes!! Now, the Bat-Blog reported about most of these new toys awhile back but we finally got some actual photos instead of prototype pics! Plus, some extra news. First the pics: Shown here are the "Batman Computer Sitter" figure, it's sa-weet! Look for it around August, 2010. The next item is the "Batman Wacky Wobbler Bobble-Car". Basically it's a bobble-head inside a Batmobile car...very cool! ( There will also be 2 color variations, one black, another blue ). Now the new stuff: The next few photos are their Funko-Force 2.0 Vinyl Figures. Shown here is Batgirl & 2 different Batman variations. OK, they look the same in these pics but one of the Batman figures have metallic paint. OK, the very last picture is totally amazing! Here are the 1st seven figures that will come out. We have Batgirl, Batman, Robin, Green Lantern ( what's he doing in there? Ha! ), Penguin, Joker, & The Riddler! Oh man, all this stuff is totally cool. Is Funko trying to torture me?! OH YEAH! Awhile back, here at the Bat-Blog, we reported about a few brand-new pieces of Batman merchandise coming out from FUNKO. This toy company makes extremely excellent products so we were pretty excited! Funko is mainly know for their Wacky Wobblers ( Bobblehead Nodders ) & I know that I personally love those a lot. Well, here is the 2nd series of BATMAN / DC UNIVERSE Plush Toys that have just come out. It looks like the focus on these plushies will be a few evil villiains: The Joker, The Penguin, & Catwoman too!!
