PHOTOS - Frank's Vintage BATMAN Toy and Memorabilia Collection!

Here at the BAT-BLOG we totally love it when Dark Knight Fans share pics of their amazing Batman Toy and Memorabilia Collections. It's always fun to see what other people have! Here are some photos sent in to us by a Serious Toy Collector named Frank. He has a nice mixture of both modern and vintage items. I especially love the 1966 Batman Charm Bracelet, that thing is pretty hard to find!

Oh yeah, one more thing. This very last photo is the original name tag owned by Adam West. Frank got it at a recent Wizard Con from Adam directly. What a cool idea! ( Thanks Frank, You ROCK, Sir! )

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - Batman Toys and Movie Merchandise From BRAZIL!!

OK, Anyone who has been following the BAT-BLOG.COM for the last few years ( or days ) knows that I am totally crazy for "Foreign Batman" Products and Toys, ha! As a Serious Batman Collector this stuff just always looks so cool & it's actually very hard to find. So, you can just imagine how excited I was to hear from a Friend in Brazil who recently bought a bunch of cool stuff. His name is Marcio & he was kind enough to share these great photos! ( Be sure to click on them for larger pics )

In the 1st pic Marcio concentrated on some Batman Board Games and Boxed Jigsaw Puzzles he bought. Of course these are all related to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie. I totally love the graphics on these, especially the 2 LARGE Board Game Boxes.

Then, speaking of the film, the 2nd pic shows some goodies he got at his local Brazilian Cinema. Yes! In the beautiful Country of Brazil their IMAX Movie Theaters had some neat promo tie-ins! Shown here are some of the Drinking Cups, Popcorn Buckets ( I love those ), Water Bottle, Paper Bags, and even a Baseball Cap/Hat!

A special THANK YOU goes out to MARCIO for sharing this, it's GREAT!

Plus, as a side-note, he did take some other pics of more Bat-Merchandise which we plan to post in the near future. So keep an eye out for that too!!

Vintage BATMAN Japanese Tin Toy Robots and Batmobile Cars

OK, This photo is just complete torture for me but it's still great to see some amazing Vintage 1960's Japanese Batman Toys!! The Guy on the right is our Good Friend Yuji who, if I remember right, lives in Dubai. Anyway he recently traveled to Japan to photograph this guy's BATMAN Tin Toy Collection. This Toy Collector has some extremely RARE and insane stuff, "Museum Pieces" actually! Shown here are just a few tiny examples of Tin Toy Robots and Battery-Operated Batmobile Cars. Yuji shot the stuff on Digital Video because he's working on a "Batman Toy Collecting" Documentary. We can't wait to see it!!

One last thing, please click the photo up above for a larger HD version. Warning: YOU WILL CRY!!

New BATMAN AND THE JOKER 16" Action Figures by Bandeirante Toys of Brazil

OK, first off I hope I get all the information correct in this post because a lot of what I came up on the Internet was in Portuguese & I only speak English. But anyway, the photos should speak for themselves!!

These wonderful pics were sent to us by a Friend named Marcio who lives in Brazil. In that country there's a famous Toy Company named "Bandeirante". Very recently they came out with these 2 totally amazing 16" Figures of Batman and The Joker!! Oh yeah, it's really important to note that in that Country they call him, "Coringa!". I really like the design here, especially the cool window boxes. Apparently these are in retail stores right now and, Yes, I want them both, ha ha! ( Thanks Marcio! )

Check out these really great photos we got recently from a Bat-Blog Fan who lives in Dallas, Texas. His name is Frank and this guy loves Batman. The cool thing is that he is really into collecting Vintage Toys, Newer Collectibles, Statues, Action Figures, Diecast Cars, Books, etc... and here is the photographic proof! I really like how everything is displayed here and I asked him about those shelves. I think he said something about Ikea. I like that company, they make cool stuff. These Bookcases are great. OK, This is just a quick post to share this short video that features an extremely RARE and very cool 1960's BATMAN Japanese Tin Toy Batmobile Car by Ichimura Shoten ©1966. This example is not in the best condition, slight "rust issues", but it's SO rare ( even in Japan ) that it doesn't really matter. It's beautiful, check it out and cry!

BAT-CAT MUSEUM AND TOYS in Thailand - New Photos

OK, we reported awhile back about the opening of THE BAT-CAT MUSEUM AND TOYS in Thailand. It's a special place you need to visit if you ever go to that country. In fact, it would be totally worth it to book an airline ticket right now, ha! We know the Owner & he's a serious Batman Fan. It might also explain why the Museum's main focus seems to revolve around the Dark Knight. But hey, they also feature other toys and collectibles there too!

The place just keeps getting bigger & more complex. In fact, these new photos almost don't look like the same place. I think the pictures speak pretty well for themselves so I'm not commenting on them except for one thing, the place looks AWESOME! For more information please be sure to visit their website by clicking HERE!

Victor's Amazing BATMAN TOYS and STATUE ART Collection!

Hey People, Please be sure to scan these photos closely with your eyeballs because I promise you will see some very cool stuff! Recently, a Bat-Blog Fan named Victor was kind enough to share some photos of his wonderful BATMAN Toy Collection. He is also very much into the Statues as well. The 1st photo sort of has a 1989 Batman Movie theme to it. I remember all the merchandizing for this film and totally love this stuff. Did anybody else eat that nasty "Batman Cereal"? Victor has a sealed box! Another favorite piece is that "JOKER-Cycle". I remember that thing was pretty hard to find.

Next up is a nice assortment of 80's and 90's items, mostly "Batman: The Animated Series". I totally loved that TV show! One item that stands out here, for me anyways, is that Large 3-D Board Game. I remember buying it "new in the store". It was a HUGE BOX and the Art Deco-style graphics are beautiful.

The 3rd photo is pretty cool too and mostly features some Action Figures. I used to be a total Snob about NOT opening mine but lately I've thought they are better for display this way. Plus, the bonus is you can actually play with them! ( Not that I play "Gotham City" on the floor ). Then, speaking of "Display", Victor has this excellent Display Case he has reserved especially for his statues. Yes, these items always need extra care because they're delicate, fragile, and expensive. Now, I really love all these Statues, seriously, but two just really pop-out to me. The 1st one is that SUPER FRIENDS Maquette on the top shelf, center. That piece just brings out special childhood memories for me. The next one is on the 2nd shelf, left side. That one of Batman holding up the Batarang. That one is based on the Silver Age Artwork of Carmine Infantino. I remember when these were being sold at the Warner Bros Store. They were kind of pricey and I was broke, a bad combo, ha!

Anyways, sorry to go on and on but there's some fun stuff here. Plus, I really appreciate when Fans contribute their Bat-Collections, that's so cool! ( Thanks Victor )
