GOTHAM CITY BATMAN TATTOO - Inspired by Jim Lee's Art in HUSH Book

I received a nice email the other night from a Bat-Blog Fan named David who said he recently got some bat-ink done. The cool thing was he shared these excellent pics with us. He explained that the artwork was inspired by the art of Jim Lee that you can see in a panel from the BATMAN: HUSH Graphic Novel. It's main focus is the skyline of Gotham City with a Batman Bat-Symbol Logo under it, very interesting choice & well done! Also, it has some of the GCPD Blimps in it too! ( Thanks David )

BATMAN TATTOO ART Photo - Solomon Grundy and The Joker!

OK, Now, how is this for a Batman Villain Team-Up?! This photo was submitted by an awesome Bat-Blog Fan who recently got some ink done. But instead of getting Batman he decided to showcase 2 of his favorite Villains: The Joker and Solomon Grundy! Both were done by a Tattoo Artist named Randy Hall ( Empire Tattoo in Asheville, NC ) and he did a great job!

WOW! I woke-up this morning and got an email from a Batman Fan who lives all the way in Serbia, Belgrade! His name is Vojin and he sent a photo of his cool BATMAN and JOKER Tattoo. He also included the original art source that was the inspiration, shown down below. ( Thank You Vojin! )

New BATMAN, RIDDLER, and TWO-FACE Tattoo Art!!

OK, these photos sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan are not the completed Tattoo Artwork, but more along the lines of showing "a work in progress". There is still some more coloring to do but so far it's all looking really good! As you can see, he has Batman, Riddler, and Two-Face. Also, this Bat-Ink is being done by Citrus City Tattoo. Good work guys!

Check out this very cool BATMAN TATTOO photo from a Bat-Blog Fan named Brian who lives in Las Vegas, NV. He just got some amazing Bat-Ink done and wanted to share. Yeah, we always like that! He also attached a picture that shows the inspiration for this artwork. I recognize it as a piece of promo art from the last movie, very cool. Paul's KICK-ASS BATMAN VILLAINS Tattoo Art Photo!

We  always love it when Batman Fans who get Batman-related Tattoos share pics of the artwork they have recently had done. Here's one from a BAT-BLOG Reader named Paul who got, not only Batman, but a Lot of Villains as well: The Joker, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Penguin, and Bane! The 2nd photo shows the original comic book art that was the inspiration. It's interesting to see that Bane was added later. The Tattoo Artist is named "Bobby No" of Scallywag Tattoos in Miami, Fl. I should also note that this appears on Paul's lower left leg... cool!  Hey Paul, Thanks for sharing this great art with us.

Over at the Official CHIP KIDD Website they recently posted an awesome BATMAN TATTOO ART Photo that is based on the BAT-MANGA Japanese Comic Book Bat-Logo & it's really great! This tattoo is on the leg of a guy named Marcio, who lives in Rio de Janeiro, and I gotta say it's really cool. I like it a lot!

Pat's BATMAN TATTOO ART PHOTO 1970's Comic Book Logo

OK, Here's the deal. Lately I've been dealing with one crisis after another and my focus is complete crap. I've been stressed out more than any other time in my life, so keeping up with the BAT-BLOG has been difficult. Now, I'm not whining or complaining. I'm just sayin', ha! Anyways, a Facebook Friend of this site, named Pat, submitted an incredible BATMAN TATTOO Photo awhile back and it just got lost in the mix. I was kind of unorganized at that moment and it never got logged-in to post. So, here it is a week or two later and I'm finally posting it, ha! Sorry Pat, Hey, "Better Late Than Never", my Grandmother used to always say. 



But Hey, People, check this out! Pat's Bat-Tat is a 1970's version of the comic book logo and it's really great! In fact, this logo is one of my favorites because it reminds me of my old "comic book collecting days" as a little kid in the 70's and that was a good time in my life. In other words, that BAT-LOGO brings back fond memories. Thanks Pat for sharing your pic & sorry it took so long to get it posted.

Brad's Awesome BATMAN TATTOO ART of The JOKER!

I got an email last night from a long-time BAT-BLOG Fan who said he just recently got a JOKER Tattoo. To prove it he attached this awesome photo, check it out! Yes, our Friend Brad really did get himself inked and he now has THE EVIL-SMILE JOKER on his arm! It's pretty cool, it's done in a clean black and white style with accent-colors added. The Joker's hair is green, lips red, and there's even some color in his eyes too. Very simple or understated, nice. This tattoo looks great, very well done/sharp. A special THANKS goes out to Brad for sharing, Thanks Dude, and we would also like to extend an invitation to everybody else who has had some ink done to share their pics too.

Dang, can I use the word "Bad Ass" on my site? I'm not sure, but that word does explain this photo pretty well, ha! Here's a picture sent in by a BAT-BLOG Fan named Michael. He said, "It took a while to find an Artist that was trust worthy to tattoo the great Batman but I finally found one in Colorado Springs at a place called Glory Badges." Here are 2 amazing BATMAN Tattoo Photos we recently got that show some amazing artwork! The 1st one, done for our Friend Bob, is a special graphic showing 3 different Batman Bat-Symbol Logos, all in one! The design concept is unique and clever. Plus, it looks great!

The 2nd one is very cool too. This is from our Friend Brian, who got this large Tattoo showing Batman and Robin in the 1966 George Barris Batmobile Car!! It's sharp and has great coloring/shading, nice!

BATMAN TATTOO ART - Extravaganza!

The only word I could think of to describe today's post is "Extravaganza!", ha ha! We did one of our BATMAN TATTOO ART Posts yesterday and was shocked later to get, not one, but THREE messages from Bat-Blog Fans who have got some bat-ink done! They all sent some wonderful photos of their amazing Batman-themed Tattoos. So, let's check 'em out!

The 1st one, in no particular order, was submitted by a friend named Ryan. It features both Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy done in a "Batman Animated Series" style. Just think "Bruce Timm" artwork. It also features the Classic Logo for THE JOKER.

Next up is a photo sent to us by a Tattoo Artist named Trish. She told us she did this BATMAN BAT-SYMBOL LOGO for her Friend's Son. It's freakin' SWEEEET!!!

Last, but not least, is this great pic from Victor. We kind of get 2 views of this large Tattoo that has both The Dark Knight AND Catwoman, Meow! I like the BATS Motif in the background, a nice touch. Wow! So thanks to everybody who sent us these cool photos, you people ROCK!
