HOT TOYS BATMAN COSBABY Figures - The Dark Knight Trilogy

HOT TOYS just announced the release of a new series of BATMAN COSBABY Figures that each revolve around the theme from one of The Dark Knight Trilogy movies. There are 9 toys to collect with 3 toys from each Christopher Nolan film: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises. 

The characters include Bruce Wayne, Batman ( 3 versions ), Scarecrow, The Joker ( both "Regular" and "Bank Robber" ), Bane and Catwoman. 

Each Cosbaby stands approximately 3 inches tall, featuring your favorite movie characters in baby form and their unique designs in a special format. I'm not exactly sure on a release date at this moment but stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG and as soon as we know, you know.

Paul's KICK-ASS BATMAN VILLAINS Tattoo Art Photo!

We  always love it when Batman Fans who get Batman-related Tattoos share pics of the artwork they have recently had done. Here's one from a BAT-BLOG Reader named Paul who got, not only Batman, but a Lot of Villains as well: The Joker, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Penguin, and Bane! The 2nd photo shows the original comic book art that was the inspiration. It's interesting to see that Bane was added later. The Tattoo Artist is named "Bobby No" of Scallywag Tattoos in Miami, Fl. I should also note that this appears on Paul's lower left leg... cool!  Hey Paul, Thanks for sharing this great art with us.

Chuck's DENVER COMIC CON 2012 Batman Adventure!

Here are some really fun photos sent in to us by a very loyal BAT-BLOG.COM Reader named Chuck. He was pretty excited to share some news with us because he said he had just got back from his very first Comic Con that he ever attended! This is always a great thing to experience because they're just so fun. Plus, this was the 1st ever DENVER COMIC CON so it was very unique. As a side note I should say that I have heard from some other people who went and everyone said it was great. So, we're glad that Chuck got to go.

Now, here are some of his pics. The 1st one is guaranteed to completely torture all of our Readers, ha! This is a Cosplay Girl who was there as Catwoman. I totally LOVE her vinyl cat-suit, MEOW! Next up are a few other Cosplayers with equally cool costumes. We have Harley Quinn ( Arkham City version ) and The Joker, probably the best couple there. We also get to see the Riddler, Animated Series Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and another great Joker.

Chcuk got to meet a few of his personal heroes: the Legendary Comic Book Artist Neal Adams and Michael Uslan, Executive Producer of all the BATMAN Movies. Uslan was there promoting his new Biography Book, "The Boy Who loved Batman". Also, the very last photo is of some homemade Superhero Art/Crafts Toys that are pretty cool! WOW! It seriously looks like this is an event I would have loved to attend. Before I sign-out here I wanna say THANK YOU to Chuck for sharing his experience, I appreciate it.

Desmond's 2012 DENVER COMIC CON Adventure!

Last weekend was the very 1st Annual DENVER COMIC CON ( Colorado ) and it was a complete success. But, the most important thing was our Little Buddy Desmond got to go and this was his very 1st Superhero event like this. Of course he wore his BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Costume. Which wasn't that far of a stretch because he practically lives in it anyway, ha ha! But, can you imagine his surprise when he got there and saw that there were many other Cosplay Batman Fans all dressed-up just like he was! 



Yes, he had a great time & even got his face painted like Batman too. Oh yeah check this out, his Dad, our Friend Seth, got to meet Michael Uslan who we all know as the Executive Producer for the Batman Movies. He was there promoting THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Film. Now before I go I wanna thank Melissa  for sharing these wonderful photos. I ALWAYS love seeing the Desmond!

Photos From The Recent 2012 ASBURY PARK COMIC CON

Here are some wonderful photos shot at the 2012 ASBURY PARK COMIC CON by our good buddy Batdave. He recently went to this event with his Girlfriend, Lisa & BFF, Dennis. Now, one thing was that was pretty cool was our good friend John of the GOTHAM CITY SUPERCAR CLUB was there & he showcased his 1966 Batmobile Replica Car for the event. It was set-up outside to sort of greet visitors to the show & the car looked great in this "vintage looking" environment. 

OK, you might notice in the 1st photo of the Car that it has a Custom "Battering-Ram" on the front. This is an homage to the episode where they originally had one of these for the car on the 1966 BATMAN TV series, very cool! The thing actually comes off the car. It's basically a Large Disc that is cushioned with leather padding on top of a pole. While the thing was removed Lisa held it upright & proclaimed that it is the "The Bat-Barstool", that's funny! Anyway, it's a cool addition to an already amazing replica. Everybody loved it!

Some of the other photos show 2 great Cosplay People who were dressed-up as the Scarecrow ( Movie Version ) and Harley Quinn ( from Batman: Arkham City ). As you can see their costumes were AMAZING! 

There is also a photo of our buddies Batdave & Dennis with those 2 guys from "THE COMIC BOOK MEN" TV Series. They were there doing promotion because that TV Show is filmed in the same state ( New Jersey ).

OK, so overall it looks like a great event that will hopefully keep growing. Whoops, did I mention this was the very 1st Asbury Park Comic Con? Sorry, yeah, this was the first show! I should also thank Batdave  for sharing his photos and a special "Thank You" also to Lisa, Dennis, & John for appearing in them.

New BATMAN THE DARK KNIGHT Toys - Mini Mez-itz Figures Box Sets by Mezco!

Next year, around April 2012, be sure to keep an eye out for these special DARK KNIGHT MOVIE 2" Mini Mez-itz Figures and Toy Vehicles made by MEZCO. They will be sold in different boxed sets. The 1st one will feature the TUMBLER Batmobile & it comes with a Mini-Batman 2" Mez-itz Figure.



The next one will also be a "Vehicle Boxed Set" & it comes with Batman, The Joker, and The Bat-Pod Motorcycle all packaged together in a special collector window box.



Then, a 3rd Set will have four 2" Mez-itz Figures and you'll get Batman, The Joker, Scarecrow and Two-Face!



Then, the last 2 photos show some BATMAN and JOKER Figures that are going to be a little bigger, at 6" tall ( and also, sold separately ).

BATMAN TOY WALLPAPERS - Medicom 2003 Kubrick Figures

Here are some BATMAN TOYS Wallpaper Backgrounds I made using some photos I found of some recently made ( 2003 ) Batman Collectibles. These Kubrick-styled Batman figures were made by a toy company in Japan called Medicom. Series one included: Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Azrael, Mr. Freeze, and Scarecrow. I thought these pics were kinda fun & the images might be interesting for backgrounds... so, please give one or two of them a test!

BATMAN WALLPAPERS - Bat-Blog's Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

If you're a brand-new reader of the Bat-Blog then I want to say, "Welcome & thank you for finding us!" Also, please remember that we post a few new BATMAN Wallpaper Backgrounds every Wednesday. We call it "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!" This week we have a few that are kind of crazy. The 1st one is the Monster Jam Batmobile. This custom car is extremely cool to see in person. It's way bigger than you would think it is... it's HUGE! The next background is the Batman Villain, The SCARECROW! This graphic image is a promo-shot from the DC UNIVERSE ONLINE Video Game. The cool thing about making this wallpaper is it looks like he is trying to grab your desktop icons, ha!

Video - Batman The Animated Series 1993 Action Figures TV Commercial

Here's a total blast from the past! This is the official TV Commercial for the BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Kenner Action Figures ( 1993 ). It features 2 characters & one vehicle. The figures shown are INFRARED BATMAN and The SCARECROW. Then we get to see the BAT-SIGNAL JET. Also, be sure to check out some photos of the actual toys. These bring back a lot of fond memories for me because I totally loved that cartoon. It is a great TV show & all the toys were awesome!

BATMAN ARKHAM ASYLUM - ART QUILT - Arts and Crafts

The Bat-Blog is pretty famous for celebrating creativity, in any form, but this photo is just totally amazing! I actually love old quilts as an American art form. But this modern-day one is just really great! It's titled "ARKHAM ASYLUM". Besides Batman, Robin, & a few versions of Batgirl, we also get to enjoy many images of some major villains: Poison Ivy, Bane, the Penguin, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, and many more. HOT TOYS 10th Anniversary Exclusive BATMAN DEMON & SCARECROW Collectible Figure Set

Check out these photos of some extremely cool Batman merchandise. Here are 2 brand-new BATMAN BEGINS Exclusive Collectible Figures made by HOT TOYS. Yes, you read that right, "Batman Begins" the movie. These were made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the HOT TOYS company. What we get are 2 amazing figures, BATMAN DEMON & The SCARECROW. Like all figures made by this company the details of the product are totally insane! Plus, I should mention that the Scarecrow figure comes with 2 different outfits, both shown here.

Here are some brand new images from the DC UNIVERSE ONLINE Video Game showing one of Batman's scariest villains, The Scarecrow! The cool thing too is that you also get to see Batwoman & she looks awesome! Wow, this game just keeps looking better all the time.

BATMAN ORIGINAL ART Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

OK, For "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" I thought I would go with a Batman theme that celebrates ART. The 1st background was made using a drawing submitted by our friend Drew. Yes, he drew this amazing piece of art showing all our favorite Batman Villains! You got: The Joker, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Man-Bat, Two-Face, Clayface, Riddler, Poison ivy, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, & Killer Croc!! Whew, that's a lot of evil right there! Thanks to Drew for sending us this pic, he did a great job on it. The next wallpaper is a photo sent in by our friend Michael. He saw this thing in the front yard of a sculptor in California. I've featured this on the Bat-Blog before. It's sort of a famous landmark in CA. Anyways, I have always loved this piece of art, it's very clever, & I thought it would be kind of fun ( Thanks Mike ).
