This post is made up of some wonderful photos submitted to the BAT-BLOG by some very serious BATMAN Fans! YES! These Guys all seriously ROCK! The 1st pic is our Friend Bill who went dressed-up has Batman at the recent Movie Premier of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. The cool thing, he represented the "Adam West" version!! 

Next up is a fun photo showing our Facebook Pal Anthony in his "Dark Knight" Costume standing next to his Black "Batmobile", Awesome!!

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - Photos From the Movie Premier in Newark, New Jersey!

Check out these totally kick ass photos shared by some friends of ours in New Jersey! They all went together to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie Premier in Newark ( midnight showing ) a few days ago. Most of them even showed up in costume! The basic report is that they enjoyed the movie, had a lot of fun, plus, both Children and Adults went crazy over the costumed characters!!

BATMAN VIDEO - 1966 Batmobile Vehicle Featured on STAR CARS!!

At the CRAVE ONLINE website they have a cool new Video Series called "STAR CARS" where, each episode, they focus on a famous TV or Movie Related Vehicle. In Episode #2, shown here, Reporter Athena Stamos interviews Nate Truman. Nate owns a beautiful 1966 BATMOBILE Replica Car that he built himself and you can really see the love that went into it. Plus, it's the "Adam West TV Show" vehicle so it's extremely AWESOME!

OK, We know the BAT-BLOG.COM is popular for finding out about brand-new Batman Merchandise and Toys that are hitting the market soon, or are in stores now. But we need to warn you DO NOT rush out right now to your local Grocery Store to hunt this down! No, this is a total "Fantasy Piece" created by our Friend and Graphic Designer, Christopher Franchi. 



It's a Fake Mock-Up of a BATMAN Cereal Box they should have made many years ago... or even made today! Check it out, BAT-PUFFS: BREAKFAST CEREAL! The artwork is wonderful, the design is dead-on, but we gotta say we love that little BATMAN CAR Toy Prize. Yes, that would have been an amazing Cereal Premium!

1966 BATMAN TV SHOW - New Toys and Products Coming Soon!

Yesterday the internet was all buzzing about the news from Variety Magazine's website that final agreements between Warner Bros. and Twentieth Century Fox ( Owners of the 1966 BATMAN TV Show ) have finally worked out their grievances and so now we can look forward to brand-new Product Lines featuring Toys and Merchandise related to the Classic 60's TV Series!

The list of possible character so far looks like Adam West (Batman), Burt Ward (Robin The Boy Wonder), Yvonne Craig (Batgirl), Julie Newmar (Catwoman), Cesar Romero (The Joker), Frank Gorshin (Riddler), Burgess Meredith (The Penguin) and more!

We should have more news next week when Warner Bros. Consumer Products sets up a booth at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, NV ( June 12th-14th, 2012 ). 



Also, awhile back, Adam West, in a LIVE Interview, announced that there are guaranteed plans for them coming out with Complete Seasons of the Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series on DVD & Blu-Ray. We're totally excited about this new development so please be sure to stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG.COM for more news!

BATMAN'S ADAM WEST and BURT WARD To Appear at New Jersey SUPER MEGA SHOW & COMIC FEST This Weekend!

This post is a friendly reminder that the SUPER MEGA SHOW & COMIC FEST in New Jersey will be this weekend, June 9th & 10th, 2012. The cool thing is that the Guests of Honor will be ADAM WEST & BURT WARD! 

Yes, Batman & Robin, The Boy Wonder, will make a special appearance! They will also have the lovely Lee Merriwether, who played Catwoman in the 1960's Movie, and Donna Loren ( Robin's love interest on the 1966 TV Series ). But wait, there's more!

They will also have some amazing Batman Replica Batmobiles and bat-Vehicles. Yeah, we're talking about the 1966 Bat-Cycle and amazing 60's Batman Movie Bat-Copter!

VIDEO - BATMAN'S ADAM WEST Getting His STAR On The Hollywood Walk of Fame

OK, as reported here ( proudly ) at the BAT-BLOG.COM, The Legendary Actor, ADAM WEST, finally received his STAR on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well, here's a very nice video of the event shot by our Friend Rich Behrle ( AKA Burlyman! ). Rich got there a few hours early to get a good spot and he did, he was right up front! You can also see Seth McFarlane ( Family Guy ) at the event too. Congratulations to Mr. West, your STAR is well deserved, Sir! Plus, thanks to "Burlyman" for sharing this great video and BatDave for giving us the heads-up.

ADAM WEST Got His STAR On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame!!

Yesterday, April 5th, 2012, will now always be marked a very important day in Bat-History!! Adam West, Bruce Wayne/Batman on the 1966 BATMAN TV Series, finally got his STAR on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!! Yes, Finally!! Mr. West received his STAR right in front of the Guinness World Records Museum. For the event, George Barris Kustoms brought out an Original 1966 Batmobile. There were also many fans, some dressed as characters from the classic show: Batman, Batgirl, Catwoman, etc... Wow! I wish I could have been there but here's some great photos I found online that were shot by "Adam West The Bat". Which, by the way, is an excellent rock band in the CA area.

See ADAM WEST as He Gets His Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame This Thursday!

POW!! The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will honor Adam West with a star on
the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. The STAR will be located at 6764 Hollywood Boulevard, in front of  The Guinness World of Records Museum. Guest Speakers include: Radio Personality Ralph Garman and Seth McFarlane! The Original 1966 Batmobile car will also make an appearance courtesy of Barris Kustoms. This is the 2,468th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in the Category of TELEVISION. Here at the BAT-BLOG.COM we just want to say how proud we are of Adam West for receiving this honor that he very much so deserves!! Once we get an actual photo of the real deal ( they keep it ultra secret until the unveiling ) we will be posting it. So, stay tuned!

Frank's Awesome BATMAN TATTOO ART - Adam West Doing The Batusi

POW! ZAP! Check out this awesome ADAM WEST BATMAN TATTOO inked by "Bleedink Ink" in Grove City, Ohio. This photo was submitted by our Friend Frank who just got this artwork done showing the Dark Knight ( 1966 Batman TV Show ) doing The Batusi Dance! It's a great image, nice coloring, and also has a sense of humor. Nice choice Frank, do the Batusi!

Fun Wacky BATMAN News and Artwork!

OK, in my BAT-BLOG Bat-Folders, I have some pics that are kind of random so I thought I'd post them all as one big fun article. Hey, it's neat stuff so don't start cryin', ha ha! The 1st pic is a wonderful piece of Batman Art done by our Friend Troy Lowndes. It uses images of different Actors who have played the Caped Crusader: Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney. It's hilarious!


The next photo has a funny story. Our friend BatDave was told that a certain Video Game Arcade on the Boardwalk in NJ had a Vintage BATMAN MOVIE Pinball Machine. So, he gathered up the "Junior Bat-Squad" ( His Cute Nieces ) and ran over there. When they got there they found out it was the newer "Dark Knight" version. but, they all had fun playing the many different machines. Of course the Batman one was their favorite but they also loved Ironman & Spiderman!



The last 2 photos are just some very recent FAMILY GUY Batman-related T-Shirts that just came out. I love the one with Brian The Dog screaming, "I AM BATMAN!" The next one features the cast of the show as the Retro-1970's Super Friends! You can find these shirts right HERE!

AN EVENING WITH ADAM WEST - The Podcast of the Event is Now Online!!

Greetings Good Citizens. You might remember the BAT-BLOG hyping the Event of the Century, AN EVENING WITH ADAM WEST! Well, it happened a few days ago & the show totally sold-out. Yes, it was a complete success! But, if you're like me and couldn't go because it was so far away, the good news is you can hear the interview as an Online Podcast! I checked it out last night & it's extremely entertaining. They went through Adam West's very long career and it was a lot of fun. Not as great as actually being there, but really, it's cool! Plus, I don't want to spoil anything but within the interview Mr. West shared some extremely important news that every Bat-Fan is gonna love! It totally blew me away!
