THE DARK NIGHT RISES - Funny Humor with Batman, Catwoman, and Bane!

This is a quick post to share some totally hilarious photos that are all related to the new Batman Movie, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES! The 1st two sort of need explaining but they're both pretty funny! 

This 1st image was created by our Friend Sean Hartter. He's a talented Graphic Artist and he did this excellent parody of what a "Dark Knight Rises" VHS Video Tape Cover would look like if they made one, ha ha!

Next up is a photo from our Friend Erik, who I think is an Architecture Student. Which leads me to the explanation: Catwoman is "CAD-WOMAN", you see, she uses the CAD software program to create building blueprints!



The last two pics don't need explaining. They're also both BANE related, enjoy!

Check out these awesome photos from HOT TOYS. This Toy Company is driving me crazy with all the cool stuff they're coming out with! Now, of course this is the BANE Figure from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie. The clothing here looks great but the head sculpt is even more amazing. I mean, it looks EXACTLY like the Actor, Tom Hardy!! OK, I have had some major issues in my life that I had to deal with for the last few days so that's the reason I have not been posting on my regular OCD schedule. But, that mess seems to have cleared up a little bit so now I'm back, ha!

I have been meaning to get these new DARK KNIGHT RISES movie promo pics up for awhile. Yeah, better late than never! They feature Christian Bale as Batman, Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and Tom Hardy as Bane.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

Here's some information that brand-new readers of the BAT-BLOG.COM need to know and that is every week we celebrate "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!". It's a time when we post a few FREE BATMAN WALLPAPER BACKGROUNDS for you to enjoy ( hopefully! ). Since we're all super-excited about THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie coming out soon I thought I'd use some recent Promo Photos & create some. These feature BATMAN, Bruce Wayne ( Christian Bale ), and Tom Hardy as BANE.



OK, at the last minute I also added a nice one of Anne Hathaway as CATWOMAN on her Bat-Pod Motorcycle. It's an older picture but still cool,  MEOW!

New BATMAN THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie Statues and Busts Coming out!

Over at the IDLE HANDS website they recently got their hands on some top-secret promotional material for a few of the brand-new BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie Statues and Busts that will be coming out later this year. They appear to be coming out around June/July of 2012.

First, there's a Set of 3 ICON 12" Full-Figure Statues of Batman, Bane, and Catwoman. Then, there are 3 Busts featuring the same characters. The busts will actually come out one month earlier, in June. One cool thing about these photos is we get a better look at Anne Hathaway's CATWOMAN Costume, the Cat-Suit! Check out the Metallic Heels on those Boots. They look like they can do some serious damage!

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie Preview TRAILER CATS Style!

OK, I wish I would have come up with this idea. There are a ton of websites that present brand-new movie trailers but there is only one that has taken a very unique spin on it. They're called TRAILER CATS! They take regular trailers and spice them up a little bit, ha! Here's one for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman movie. The only thing that confuses me is why they made CATWOMAN ( Anne Hathaway ) a Dog?! But it's pretty funny, check it out!

Hey Kiddos, it's Wednesday. You know what that means, it's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday"! Yes, it's time once again to post some Free BATMAN Wallpapers. Since there really hasn't been any hype lately from Warner Bros about THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie I thought I'd post a few inspired by the film. I gotta say, it's been pretty hard finding decent photos of Catwoman ( Anne Hathaway is still hiding, ha! ) so I guess the focus will be on the BATMAN and BANE characters. Here we go!

If you're a brand-new reader to the World of BAT-BLOG then we gotta warn you that we're totally crazy koo-koo for posting Original BATMAN Wallpapers every now & then, ha! In fact, we post some every "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" and then also at random, ha! A couple of years ago, during the hype of THE DARK KNIGHT Movie, we met this awesome Graphic Artist named "Messenjah Matt" and have always been impressed with the Batman Movie Backgrounds that he creates. He draws images using Adobe Photoshop techniques that are extremely detailed and made-up of tiny little slivers of color. They're totally beautiful and must take hours to make, ha! I mean, they're almost like looking at actual photographs and the overall effect is well worth it. They're very cool.

Well, now he's starting to crank out some for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Film. We're sharing a few examples here of Batman, Bane, and Catwoman. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - EMPIRE Magazine Reveals Their Special Duel-Covers with Batman and Bane!

EMPIRE Magazine, the other day, revealed what the special dual covers of their exclusive coverage of "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" movie will look like! One has Actor Christian Bale as BATMAN and the other, Tom Hardy as BANE! They will also feature exclusive interviews with Director Christopher Nolan and others. Plus, the publication will have many EXCLUSIVE 1st PHOTOS. The contents inside both magazines are the same, just different covers. Yes, they're making Collectors buy two of the same issue, ha! But that's fun and I gotta say that between the two my favorite is Batman. Which one will you get? Or, will you get them both?

The 1st DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie Tattoo - Tom Hardy as BANE

A friend of mine sent me this photo he randomly came across in a Message Board on the Internet. I couldn't believe it, somebody went & got themselves a "BANE" Tattoo! Yes, this image is the "Actor Tom Hardy" version. Now, the artwork is decent & the Tattoo is pretty nice, but what if the movie sucks? I remember a year or two ago when we were covering the last Batman movie pretty hard. The same thing happened then. Before THE DARK KNIGHT movie was released, even while it was still being filmed, a lot of people went out & got JOKER TATTOOS based on publicity photos. I had the same fears then but once the movie came out everything was cool because Heath Ledger gave an amazing performance & the Joker character ( and movie ) was actually great, whew! Let's hope these "Bane Tattoo" people have the same luck.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Video - Hear The Voice of Actor Tom Hardy as BANE!!

SPOILER ALERT!! Check out this video showing some of the filming for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES at Heinz Field. Here's what the guy making the video said, "After Bane [Tom Hardy] blows up the football field when 86 of the Gotham Rogues [Hines Ward] runs to make a touchdown after the kick off [this is what we were told was going on during filming] he comes out to address and strike fear in Gotham City [us]. The raised part you see is whats suppose to be left of the football field. He comes out and pulls the microphone from the dead? Ref [which is just a dummy] on the ground outside the tunnel where he comes out with his thugs and someone he has prisoner. He also drags out some big crazy device that's supposedly the means of our destruction..."

Finally! This morning Warner Bros released an official photo of the Actor Tom Hardy dressed as the Super-Villain, BANE!! Of course we're talking about the next Batman movie, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES! So far, it's looking pretty cool! Oh yeah, as a side-note I should say that I made this image a "DARK KNIGHT RISES" Wallpaper Background, so please use it to brighten your desktop!

Gary reveals everything he's allowed to say so far about the top-secret script, how Director Christopher Nolan manages to keep things secret, and working with Tom Hardy ( Bane, the Villain ).

This cool video features a recent interview that appeared on Britsh TV. It's the Actor Tom Hardy sort of talking about BANE, the Villain he will play in the next Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. He also talks a lot about Director Christopher Nolan.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie News - Anne Hathaway Will Be Catwoman!

OK, it's official, Warner Bros just announced that Actress Anne Hathaway will play the role of Selina Kyle in the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, and we all know that this person is also Catwoman! They also revealed the Villain character that Actor Tom Hardy will be... it's Bane! Oh man, so many people thought he was going to be Dr. Hugo Strange, ha ha! OK, I'm thinking these are pretty good choices and, just like the last movie, I'm going to trust the Director, Christopher Nolan. I mean, when he announced before the last film that Heath Ledger was going to be the Joker I was sort of skeptical, ha!
