THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - THE BAT VEHICLE Laser-Etched Glass Cube
OK, This is one of those glass cubes you usually see at Truck Stops and Flea Markets where it's a glass cube with some mysterious 3D artwork that is inside. It always amazes me, "How do they do that?" Apparently they use lasers... it's a total mystery but a very cool effect. Anyway, around December, 2012, DC Direct will be releasing a special one that features "THE BAT", Batman's Flying Vehicle from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie. It's gonna measure about 4" high x 4" wide x 4" deep and will have a retail price of $29.95.

First, Our Good Friend Lisa ( also known as BatChick ) recently got to fly in the Original 1960's Batman Movie Batcopter!! This ultra-cool Bat-Vehicle was at the recent NJ State Fair. Yes, that's Captain Gene Nock in the photo too, the Pilot! I'm JEALOUS!!
Next, all the way around the world, in Dublin, Ireland, our Friend Mark went to the TUMBLER TOUR and got to jump on the Original Bat-Pod Motorcycle from the Christopher Nolan Batman movies!! Yes, this is the actual one that appeared in THE DARK KNIGHT movie and will probably also be the one used for the DARK KNIGHT RISES film as well. Look at that expression on his face, priceless! THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - A Few BATMOBILE TUMBLER TOY CARS From Walmart!
Yesterday we posted some pics from our Friend Batmobilly that he shot at Walmart. Well, here are a few Batmobile Tumbler Toys he bought. Two of them are R/C Remote Control. Of course these tie-in to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie. We're expecting that there will soon be a very HUGE FLOOD of TDKR merchandise, ha ha! Just wait, it's gonna be crazy! But check out these pics.
The 1st one shows 2 of the standard R/C Vehicles: The TUMBLER Batmobile ( Camouflage Version ) and THE BAT! Oh yeah, THE BAT is the thing we see flying around in the new movie trailer: Catwoman, "My Mother always told me to never get into a car with a stranger". Batman, "This isn't a car!".
Next, is a photo of a Batman Toy that is EXCLUSIVE to Walmart. It's not an R/C Car but still cool, looks like a great gift idea for some kid. I like the window box packaging. It's a Tumbler ( black ) with an Action Figure included. Remember, stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG for more future toy news. ( Thanks to Batmobilly for the cool pics & great reporting )

FREE BATMAN WALLPAPERS - The 1966 TV Show Batmobile Car!
I'm posting this week's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" on Thursday. Yeah, I'm an Idiot, ha! But wait a minute, these are both really pretty and you're gonna love 'em! These FREE BATMAN WALLPAPERS focus on the 1966 Batmobile, the most beautiful Car in the entire world, period. The other cool thing is that both pics were contributed by Bat-Blog Fans. The 1st one is from our Friend Bat-Dave who shot this at a recent NJ Comic-Con. The Car is owned by a guy named John & he had just built that "Batttering-Ram" device you see on the front grill. Next, is a photo sent to us by a friend in Dallas, Texas named Frank. This car was at some Shopping Mall and is pretty awesome! Frank probably drooled over this thing all day. So, I guess one is "outside" and the other is "inside". Either way this car is the greatest vehicle... ever!

New BATMAN POWER ATTACK BATMOBILE 2012 Toy by Mattel
We have a Friend named BatmoBilly who's total focus is collecting "Batmobile" Toys and Memorabilia. OK, he does grab a few "Batman items" here and there, but he is really mostly about the Car! You might remember a recent post where we talked about the new line of Batman Toys being made by Mattel where they sort of designed them in-house. In other words, they're not related to any Movie, Comic Book, Animated Cartoon, or etc... Well, here's their version of the Batmobile! It's called the "Total Destruction™ Batmobile" and it's a part of the BATMAN POWER ATTACK Toy Line. I'm not too excited about the Orange Tire Rims but other than that, it's pretty cool! ( Thanks BatmoBilly for the great pics )

The name of this toy line is "Batman Power Attack™" and shown here are some examples of the toys and their packaging. Check out the different Batman figures, the 1st Villain issued will be Killer Croc, and a pretty cool BATMOBILE Vehicle!

New Photos - HOT TOYS 1989 BATMAN Movie BATMOBILE CAR 1/6th Scale TOY VEHICLE

OK, These photos are total torture for me! I mean, I already know I will not be able to afford to buy this brand-new HOT TOYS '89 BATMOBILE Toy and I'm already crying myself to sleep over it, ha! This is the HUGE vehicle being made for the large "Michael Keaton BATMAN" Hot Toys Figure. It's gonna be real expensive ( Like hundreds of dollars ) but completely worth every penny as it's a beautiful, and extremely detailed, replica of the Batmobile Car from the 1989 BATMAN Movie.
It has Rubber Tires with Detailed Tread, a Cockpit that slides open, an Instrument Panel inside that's very detailed, Machine Gun Turrets that pop-out of the hood, a Special Base to display it on, etc... it even comes with a "Cocoon Shield" to cover it. OK, I'm just gonna cry for about an hour or two. I know you are so much braver than I am so please be sure to check out all the wonderful photos.

NEW BATMAN PRODUCTS - Fisher Price BATMOBILE Toys and BAT-SIGNAL BOOK Coming Out Later!

Our Buddy Batmobilly sent us some wonderful pics of two brand-new Fisher-Price Toys to keep an eye out for later in the year. The 1st one is a "DC Super Friends Batmobile Light". Basically, it's a large toy car and when you pop-open the front hood it reveals a hidden flashlight inside. It's funny, I was recently at Target and saw that they already came out with some of these of generic vehicles ( like Police car and Fire Truck ) and thought, "Hey, they need to make a Batmobile", ha! Next up is another version of their "Little People DC Super Friends" Batmobile. This is made for the play sets. It's so gosh darn cute, goo goo!

Then, we have a "BAT-SIGNAL" BOOK by Running Press. This company is also gonna have a "Batmobile Book" that we featured here at the BAT-BLOG.COM before. They are very small little Gift Books sold in a Display Box with a special little toy/figure inside. You can usually find these in a Bookstore around the cash register area. So, look for these later and if you see any new Bat-Products in retail shops then please let us know.
