Chuck's DENVER COMIC CON 2012 Batman Adventure!

Here are some really fun photos sent in to us by a very loyal BAT-BLOG.COM Reader named Chuck. He was pretty excited to share some news with us because he said he had just got back from his very first Comic Con that he ever attended! This is always a great thing to experience because they're just so fun. Plus, this was the 1st ever DENVER COMIC CON so it was very unique. As a side note I should say that I have heard from some other people who went and everyone said it was great. So, we're glad that Chuck got to go.

Now, here are some of his pics. The 1st one is guaranteed to completely torture all of our Readers, ha! This is a Cosplay Girl who was there as Catwoman. I totally LOVE her vinyl cat-suit, MEOW! Next up are a few other Cosplayers with equally cool costumes. We have Harley Quinn ( Arkham City version ) and The Joker, probably the best couple there. We also get to see the Riddler, Animated Series Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and another great Joker.

Chcuk got to meet a few of his personal heroes: the Legendary Comic Book Artist Neal Adams and Michael Uslan, Executive Producer of all the BATMAN Movies. Uslan was there promoting his new Biography Book, "The Boy Who loved Batman". Also, the very last photo is of some homemade Superhero Art/Crafts Toys that are pretty cool! WOW! It seriously looks like this is an event I would have loved to attend. Before I sign-out here I wanna say THANK YOU to Chuck for sharing his experience, I appreciate it.

Desmond's 2012 DENVER COMIC CON Adventure!

Last weekend was the very 1st Annual DENVER COMIC CON ( Colorado ) and it was a complete success. But, the most important thing was our Little Buddy Desmond got to go and this was his very 1st Superhero event like this. Of course he wore his BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Costume. Which wasn't that far of a stretch because he practically lives in it anyway, ha ha! But, can you imagine his surprise when he got there and saw that there were many other Cosplay Batman Fans all dressed-up just like he was!

Yes, he had a great time & even got his face painted like Batman too. Oh yeah check this out, his Dad, our Friend Seth, got to meet Michael Uslan who we all know as the Executive Producer for the Batman Movies. He was there promoting THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Film. Now before I go I wanna thank Melissa  for sharing these wonderful photos. I ALWAYS love seeing the Desmond!

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES CATWOMAN - Costume Cosplay by Kimberly Moore!

Over at the Official BAT-BLOG.COM Facebook Fan Page ( LINK on the far right-hand side of this page ) we recently met a nice Cosplay-Girl ( I mean, Woman, ha! ) from New Jersey who is totally into creating Comic Book-Related Costumes. Her name is Kimberly Moore. She goes to a lot of Comic Cons and has been seen parading as Sue Storm ( Fantastic Four ), Harley Quinn ( Joker's Girlfriend ), and even Jessica Rabbit, among others. Well, here are some photos of her recent creation she's working on, a CATWOMAN Cat-Suit like the one worn by Anne Hathaway in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie.

The Clothing & Accessories here all look really great! I like the mask/belt and totally love the boots! I'm always impressed with how serious the Cosplay people are with very fine details. These photos were shot last weekend at the 2012 Philadelphia Comic Con put on by Wizard World, what some people call, "The Philly Show". She appears in some of the pics with other Cosplayers and when I asked her if she knew any of them this is what she said,

"The Gentleman who cosplayed as Bane is named Iam Priceless, The Joker is  Matt Indiana McIntyre, Batman is Dan Petruccio and Robin is played by Joe Petruccio."

Hey Kim, The Costume looks amazing, great job! Also, Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos. We hope to see more of your work in the future.

Cosplay Photos From Wizard World's 2012 Philadelphia Comic Con

Wizard World's Philadelphia Comic Con was last weekend and here's photographic proof that some of our Friends in NJ went to the event. The cool thing is that everybody had a SUPER-GREAT time! As always there were plenty of Batman-Style Cosplay People at the show. The 1st few photos share that & I gotta say that I am totally in LOVE ( real love ) with that Catwoman in the 3rd photo, ha ha, no really!

The list of characters seen, in order, are: Cute Girl Robin, Batman ( Adam West Version ), Batgirl ( 1966 TV Show ), Batman and Robin ( Modern Comic Book ), Modern Catwoman ( My Future Wife ), The Joker, Deathstroke, Killer Moth, Red Hood, Dr. Hugo Strange ( Arkham City version ), The Huntress and a Golden-Age Catwoman.

Also, seen in a few photos is the 1966 Batmobile Car that was supplied to the event by our good friend John Brown, who is a member of the "Gotham City Supercars Club". Big crowds ALWAYS go crazy goo-goo over that beautiful car, that's for sure!

Two Comic Book Artists that are important to the "Batman Universe" were there: Neal Adams and Arthur Suydam. Something very neat is our Friend BatDave got his very 1st Batman comic that he ever owned signed by Neal Adams, very cool! You can actually see Neal's signature in the photo. Now, the very last photo is the group of Friends of ours who all went to the event and they all look pretty happy. OK, I'm super jealous I didn't get to go, ha!

Batman Fan Meets The Comic Book Legend - NEAL ADAMS!

OK, If you're a BATMAN Fan and you don't know who Neal Adams is, then just please STOP reading my blog! I'm being serious, this guy is a Legend in the Comic Book industry, especially when it involves the Dark Knight. Come on, Neal Adams is an ICON!

So, we were both very happy and seriously jealous ( JEALOUS! ) to see this wonderful photo of a friend of ours who sent us this photo the other day. This is Frank and he recently got to meet Mr. Adams at a Comic Con. Actually, Frank had commissioned him to do a Batman Sketch, you can see it in the pic and it looks really great! He also said that Mr. Adams was extremely friendly and very gracious. We have heard that before many times so that's cool.

Hey Frank, thanks for sharing your fun pic and I want that artwork for ME! I mean, it would look so much prettier on MY wall!

Photos From The Recent 2012 ASBURY PARK COMIC CON

Here are some wonderful photos shot at the 2012 ASBURY PARK COMIC CON by our good buddy Batdave. He recently went to this event with his Girlfriend, Lisa & BFF, Dennis. Now, one thing was that was pretty cool was our good friend John of the GOTHAM CITY SUPERCAR CLUB was there & he showcased his 1966 Batmobile Replica Car for the event. It was set-up outside to sort of greet visitors to the show & the car looked great in this "vintage looking" environment.

OK, you might notice in the 1st photo of the Car that it has a Custom "Battering-Ram" on the front. This is an homage to the episode where they originally had one of these for the car on the 1966 BATMAN TV series, very cool! The thing actually comes off the car. It's basically a Large Disc that is cushioned with leather padding on top of a pole. While the thing was removed Lisa held it upright & proclaimed that it is the "The Bat-Barstool", that's funny! Anyway, it's a cool addition to an already amazing replica. Everybody loved it!

Some of the other photos show 2 great Cosplay People who were dressed-up as the Scarecrow ( Movie Version ) and Harley Quinn ( from Batman: Arkham City ). As you can see their costumes were AMAZING!

There is also a photo of our buddies Batdave & Dennis with those 2 guys from "THE COMIC BOOK MEN" TV Series. They were there doing promotion because that TV Show is filmed in the same state ( New Jersey ).

OK, so overall it looks like a great event that will hopefully keep growing. Whoops, did I mention this was the very 1st Asbury Park Comic Con? Sorry, yeah, this was the first show! I should also thank Batdave  for sharing his photos and a special "Thank You" also to Lisa, Dennis, & John for appearing in them.

BATMAN COSPLAY at the 1st Ottawa Canada Comic-Con!

Here are some totally wonderful photos sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named Mark. He and his Son recently went to their very 1st Ottawa Comic-Con in Canada! Actually, it was this weekend. Now of course there were a lot of wacky COSPLAY Costume People there and Mark got some great pics.

The first photo features Mark's Son Eli in his Batman outfit with Mario and Luigi. Hey, how cool is that?! More pics include the Mad Hatter, Bane and Harley Quinn ( She's the "Arkham City" Version ), a Nolan-Universe Batman, Two Face and another wonderful Harley Quinn ( The "Animated Series" version ). WOW! Looks like everybody had a really great time. I hope Eli had fun ( I bet he did ). Thanks Mark for sharing these fun photos, they're great!
