VIDEO - BATMAN'S ADAM WEST Getting His STAR On The Hollywood Walk of Fame

OK, as reported here ( proudly ) at the BAT-BLOG.COM, The Legendary Actor, ADAM WEST, finally received his STAR on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well, here's a very nice video of the event shot by our Friend Rich Behrle ( AKA Burlyman! ). Rich got there a few hours early to get a good spot and he did, he was right up front! You can also see Seth McFarlane ( Family Guy ) at the event too. Congratulations to Mr. West, your STAR is well deserved, Sir! Plus, thanks to "Burlyman" for sharing this great video and BatDave for giving us the heads-up.

ADAM WEST Got His STAR On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame!!

Yesterday, April 5th, 2012, will now always be marked a very important day in Bat-History!! Adam West, Bruce Wayne/Batman on the 1966 BATMAN TV Series, finally got his STAR on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!! Yes, Finally!! Mr. West received his STAR right in front of the Guinness World Records Museum. For the event, George Barris Kustoms brought out an Original 1966 Batmobile. There were also many fans, some dressed as characters from the classic show: Batman, Batgirl, Catwoman, etc... Wow! I wish I could have been there but here's some great photos I found online that were shot by "Adam West The Bat". Which, by the way, is an excellent rock band in the CA area.

See ADAM WEST as He Gets His Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame This Thursday!

POW!! The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will honor Adam West with a star on
the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. The STAR will be located at 6764 Hollywood Boulevard, in front of  The Guinness World of Records Museum. Guest Speakers include: Radio Personality Ralph Garman and Seth McFarlane! The Original 1966 Batmobile car will also make an appearance courtesy of Barris Kustoms. This is the 2,468th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in the Category of TELEVISION. Here at the BAT-BLOG.COM we just want to say how proud we are of Adam West for receiving this honor that he very much so deserves!! Once we get an actual photo of the real deal ( they keep it ultra secret until the unveiling ) we will be posting it. So, stay tuned!

Batman's ADAM WEST is Finally Getting His STAR On the Hollywood Walk of Fame!!

The Official HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME Website has announced that, in 2012, Adam West will be getting a STAR on the Walk of Fame!! It will be awarded for the TELEVISION category, which is great, because it sort of relates to the 1966 BATMAN TV Show. You might remember reading about this battle to get a star here at the Bat-Blog. All along we have tried to be as supportive as we could & we're really proud of this announcement. So, since we'll have to wait till next year to see his star I thought I would post this mock-up photo I made ( Ha Ha! ) and please enjoy this video, that was one of many, to garner support. Also, CONGRATS ADAM WEST...You Deserve It!!

Help ADAM WEST Get a Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame

The photo up above of the ADAM WEST STAR on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is fake. I made it using a photo-editing program by typing his name in a gold-colored font on top of a photo of an actual star, why? Because for some reason the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has, for all these years, denied Adam West of the honor. Well, right now a Film Maker, named James Tooley, is trying to complete a Documentary that will help Mr. West get accepted. But he needs money to finish the project so he started a Kickstarter project to gather donations. If you think West deserves a star then please donate. Donations can be as low as one dollar, but every little bit helps. Also, to see the quality of the "Starring Adam West" Documentary just watch the video down below. The JOKER Was Recently Spotted in Hollywood!

Our friend Stevie recently went on a vacation to California & guess who he spotted while walking down Hollywood Blvd? Yes, The Prince of Crime himself, The Joker! Ha Ha! Of course it's the "Heath Ledger" version from The Dark Knight movie...very cool! ( Thanks for sending the cool pic Stevie ).

Video: HOW TO FIND THE ORIGINAL 1966 BATMAN TV SHOW BAT-CAVE!

Here's a very fun video that tells you how to get to the original Bat-Cave location in California. It was done by a good friend of mine named Scott. I was kind of impressed with how well done it was. Anyway we all know the famous scene in the 1966 Batman TV Show when the Batmobile roars out of the Bat-Cave ( Atomic batteries to power, turbines to speed...). Well, this cave he takes you to is the exact location they filmed that classic piece of bat-history! It's called the Bronson Cave & is located in Hollywood, CA. For anyone who lives in California, or on vacation, I highly recommend visiting this landmark, it's kinda neat! Scott's directions are very clear & precise. So, go check out the BAT-CAVE!!
