Everybody is Riding in BATMAN BAT-VEHICLES Except Me!

OK, I am totally consumed with both envy and jealousy and these are not good feelings to have, ha ha! Check out these 2 pics. First, Our Good Friend Lisa ( also known as BatChick ) recently got to fly in the Original 1960's Batman Movie Batcopter!! This ultra-cool Bat-Vehicle was at the recent NJ State Fair. Yes, that's Captain Gene Nock in the photo too, the Pilot! I'm JEALOUS!!

Next, all the way around the world, in Dublin, Ireland, our Friend Mark went to the TUMBLER TOUR and got to jump on the Original Bat-Pod Motorcycle from the Christopher Nolan Batman movies!! Yes, this is the actual one that appeared in THE DARK KNIGHT movie and will probably also be the one used for the DARK KNIGHT RISES film as well. Look at that expression on his face, priceless! Arrgghh! OK, I'm actually very happy for both of them, ha!

THE TUMBLER TOUR Hits Montreal Canada!

I have been meaning to post these photos for a few days but just keep getting side-tracked. But I'm happy to be finally posting them now. These were sent to us a few days ago by a major Batman Fan named Paul who lives in Canada. Paul was lucky enough to get to see the TUMBLER TOUR while it was in Montreal and he shot us these incredible photos at the event. As you can see they had the original Tumbler Batmobile Car AND the Bat-Pod Motorcycle, both of which can be seen in THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie. These vehicles will also make an appearance in the next "RISES" film. ( We can't wait to see that! ) Oh yeah, he had a great time and it's funny, he wore his Classic 1966 Batmobile T-Shirt. Heck yeah Paul, Representin'!! Also, Thanks for sharing your fun pics, I appreciate that very much.

Mauro's Adventure Watching THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie Filming in Newark, New Jersey

Check out these fun pics shared by a Bat-Blog Fan named Mauro. He works just a few blocks from where they were filming THE DARK KNIGHT RISE Batman movie and he got some great pics! Mauro wrote,
"Lots of GCPD cars and SWAT TEAM trucks were on the street and I got to see Anne Hathaway briefly with Christian Bale. They were shooting their scenes underground in Newark's really nice tunnel system, inside the subway. Most of the above street area has been converted to "Gotham City Transit System" Subway Stops and there were about 100 Cops all over the place in Official GCPD uniforms. It was a lot of fun to see it all set up and I took some pics of with me with the film-prop cars. I also got a photo of Christian Bale walking to his escort car. He was walking pretty fast so I could only get a shot of his back, he was dressed as Bruce Wayne with a black trench coat."
Wow Mauro! Thank you for sharing your fun photos & your story. I gotta admit I am totally JEALOUS! ( Ha Ha! ) But I do appreciate your thinking about the Bat-Blog & these pics are great, that's awesome! I can't wait to see this new Batman movie!

More THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie Filming in Newark, New Jersey

The other day we posted some photos here at the BAT-BLOG.COM from our friend & Ace Bat-Reporter BATDAVE. He traveled to where THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie was filming in Newark, New Jersey & got some fun pics. Well, Batdave had to leave early but his friend Don stayed behind and he got even more pictures for us ( Thanks Don!! ).

The first one is a very pretty girl expressing her political support for the movie by holding up an "Occupy Gotham City" sign!

Next up is an actual photo of Don. He spotted one of the many "Gotham City Police Department" Movie Prop Vehicles that were up & down the street. I like the expression on his face. To me it says, "Yeah, I'm gonna come back later tonight & STEAL this thing!" ( Ha! Just kiddin' Don! But you know you were thinking that for a few seconds, ha! ) Then we get a great view of one of the GCPD Utility Trucks.

You might remember our previous post where we shared "Fake Signs" that were all over the street making it look like a real Gotham City. Well, here is a Transit Sign of Gotham's Subway System. Wow! What detail!!

BATMAN 1966 TV SHOW and MOVIE REPLICA PROPS - The Batzooka and Bat-Shield!

Check out these amazing replicas of a few props from the 1960's BATMAN TV Show and Movie! Our Buddy "BatDave" is holding the BATZOOKA! It was originally seen in the 1966 Batman movie as a Batcharge Launcher, in the scene where Robin, The Boy Wonder, used it to fire at The Penguin Submarine!

Then, we have the BAT-SHIELD, held up by our Friend Louie! This "Weapon" appeared mainly on the Adam West and Burt Ward BATMAN TV Series. It protected Batman and Robin from harm caused by Villains!!

Both of these were made by Louie and you can see the love that went into them because they have such great detail! ( Thanks to BatDave for sharing this fun photo ).

BATMAN LIVE - Souvenir Scenic Studios - Gotham City Building Models & THE JOKER Props

Hype has sort of died down a little bit on the BATMAN LIVE events going on in Europe so I thought I'd share these cool photos I found the other day. These pics are from a website called "Souvenir Scenic Studios". This is the company that's in charge of making a lot of the props & scenery for the BATMAN LIVE Show. WOW! All of this stuff is beyond beautiful!! Most of these photos revolve around the extremely cool Building Models of Gotham City and some JOKER-related items. In fact, that Giant-Sized JOKER FACE Cut-Out would look awesome in my backyard garden area, ha! I also really love the Model Building of the MONARCH THEATER where a young Bruce Wayne & his Parents viewed "The Mark of Zorro". For more info about the company and more great pics just click here, Souvenir Scenic Studios.
