VIDEO - Batman's 1966 Batcopter and Batmobile Team-Up!

OK, anyone who has been following the BAT-BLOG for awhile knows that we have an excellent group of friends in New Jersey who are always contributing some very cool Batman-related stories. Here's a very good example:



Recently they all got together and created this Mini BATMAN TRIBUTE Movie that shares the adventure they had at the 2012 New Jersey State Fair. While there, they had the opportunity to film the Original 1966 Bat-Copter ( flown by Capt. Gene Nock ) and a beautiful 1966 Batman TV Show Batmobile Replica Car together!! HOT TOYS New BATMAN 1966 BATMOBILE VEHICLE Update!

Just a quick bat-photo to share here, sort of an update on the news of the brand-new 1966 Batmobile Car that HOT TOYS is making! I'm sharing this pic too because it's the 1st one we have seen with an actual person standing next to this new vehicle giving us an idea of size and scale. This is our Friend Ivan at a recent convention and he was kind enough to think about sending us this great pic & we appreciate it! Look how HUGE and beautiful that '66 Batmobile is... IT'S AWESOME!! HOT TOYS New 1966 BATMOBILE VEHICLE Batman Car!!

Just a quick post to share a few photos from the 2012 San Diego Comic Con where the Brand-New HOT TOYS 1966 Batmobile Batman Vehicle made an appearance, YES!! Oh man, this Japanese Toy Company just keeps torturing me, arrgghh!

OH YEAH - BATMAN is EVERYWHERE!!

Yes, I think that if you just try to notice you'll see that BATMAN is everywhere!! Here are a few examples sent to us recently by some loyal Bat-Blog Fans who are awesome. The 1st one is from our Friend "Batmobilly" who lives in Oklahoma City ( That's where I live too ). He went to the Warren Theater the other night to see THE DARK KNIGHT RISES and look at what he saw shining on the ceiling, the Bat-Signal!!

Then, a Friend of ours named Paul was driving the other day down the highway in Denver, Colorado and saw Batgirl's Car! Don't believe me? Just read the License Plate, ha!

Then, and I feel bad about this, a Fan sent us this pic awhile back and I forgot to write his name down and then forgot his name & where he's from. Yeah, I'm an Idiot! But I still appreciate him thinking about the BAT-BLOG and sending us this wonderful photo, it's GREAT! The basic story was he was on his way to work & saw the Batmobile! Yes, the Car of the Caped Crusader! Well, OK, it's not the real one but is "homemade". But still awesome.

BATMAN VIDEO - 1966 Batmobile Vehicle Featured on STAR CARS!!

At the CRAVE ONLINE website they have a cool new Video Series called "STAR CARS" where, each episode, they focus on a famous TV or Movie Related Vehicle. In Episode #2, shown here, Reporter Athena Stamos interviews Nate Truman. Nate owns a beautiful 1966 BATMOBILE Replica Car that he built himself and you can really see the love that went into it. Plus, it's the "Adam West TV Show" vehicle so it's extremely AWESOME!

1989 BATMOBILE CAR Sand Art Seen at Belmar Beach, NJ!

Here's a recent "Batman News Story" that is very very FUN! Some of our Good Bat-Friends, a Group of really Cool Kids known as "The Junior Bat-Squad", recently entered a SAND ART Contest at Belmar Beach in New Jersey. For their entry they created this wonderful Replica of a Batmobile Car that is exactly like the one used in the Classic 1989 BATMAN Movie ( Tim Burton )! Check out the pics, this thing is AWESOME!!!!!

Now, they won 2nd place, which is really GREAT, but I gotta say that I think the contest was probably rigged because the thing that won 1st place was really ugly, ha ha! Yeah, I bet the Joker probably had something to do with that!

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - New HOT TOYS TUMBLER BATMOBILE Vehicle - Camouflage Version

If you just read the post up above then you just saw the new HOT TOYS BANE Figure from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie. Well, HEY! Bane needs a vehicle to get around in so here you go! HOT TOYS just released these promo photos of the new TUMBLER BATMOBILE Vehicle ( Camouflage Version ). Please keep in mind that this car is made in 1/6th scale to fit these large dolls, I mean figures! So, this thing is HUGE!!

1989 BATMAN Movie Batmobile Spotted in Canada!!

Check out these awesome photos sent in to us by a loyal Bat-Blog Fan who lives in Ontario, Canada. If I got the info correct, he spotted this beautiful 1989 Batman Movie Batmobile Replica Car in Orangeville. Either way it's pretty amazing and I know he completely freaked-out when he saw it! Batman Fans and Toy Collectors of all ages are going to be pretty excited about this news, I know I am! Later this year Toys-R-Us will be selling a brand-new BATMAN Batmobile Ride-On Toy Car! It's going to have a retail price of around $150.00 ( not a bad price ) and will be available in August, 2012.

NJ SUPER MEGA SHOW & COMIC FEST - Batman Batmobile and Bat-Vehicle Coverage!

Recently, some Loyal Bat-Blog Readers sent us some amazing photos from the SUPER-MEGA SHOW & COMIC FEST that happened in New Jersey on June 9th & 10th. Here are some pics from our Good Pal & Ace Bat-Reporter BatDave and we'll be sharing even more later. These sort of focus on the Batman Bat-Vehicles that were there and they had an amazing assortment! 

OK, Outside ( right near the front door! ), they had a beautiful pair of 1966 BATMAN TV Show Replicas: The '66 Batmobile and Bat-Cycle!! Also appearing at the show was Captain Gene Nock who brought his Original 1960's Batman Movie Batcopter, also known as the N3079G!! 

Oh yeah hold on, one last thing! The Actor Robert Vaughn, who was a Special Guest at the show and you might remember him from THE MAN FROM UNCLE 60's TV Series, was kind enough to pop outside and get into our friend John's 1966 Batmobile for a photo op! As you can imagine everyone loves to sit inside that car and, sometimes, it's even kind of hard to get them to get out of it, ha ha!

Warner Bros. and Chrysler are teaming up for a very cool The Dark Knight Rises contest! In fact, just this afternoon we received these Exclusive "Top Secret" Photos revealing what the special Chrysler 300 S Car they created for this film promo is gonna look like. OK, they are more like "Teaser Photos", but you get the idea, ha! FREE BATMAN WALLPAPERS - The 1966 TV Show Batmobile Car!

I'm posting this week's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" on Thursday. Yeah, I'm an Idiot, ha! But wait a minute, these are both really pretty and you're gonna love 'em! These FREE BATMAN WALLPAPERS focus on the 1966 Batmobile, the most beautiful Car in the entire world, period. The other cool thing is that both pics were contributed by Bat-Blog Fans. The 1st one is from our Friend Bat-Dave who shot this at a recent NJ Comic-Con. The Car is owned by a guy named John & he had just built that "Batttering-Ram" device you see on the front grill. Next, is a photo sent to us by a friend in Dallas, Texas named Frank. This car was at some Shopping Mall and is pretty awesome! Frank probably drooled over this thing all day. So, I guess one is "outside" and the other is "inside". Either way this car is the greatest vehicle... ever!

BATMAN Movie THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - DALE EARNHARDT JR. UNVEILS WINNING MOUNTAIN DEW RACE CAR PAINT DESIGN

You might have read at the BAT-BLOG.COM recently that Mountain Dew held a Contest where Batman Fans got to vote on a paint scheme for the new DALE EARNHARDT JR / MOUNTAIN DEW Race Car design. The Car is themed for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie! 

Well, the winning design has the "BAT-LOGO" for the hood and each side of the car has an individual graphic of Batman and then Bane! I'm sorry, the photos I got only show the "Batman side" of the car but if you watch the video down below you'll see the entire car, it's nice!

Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s popular No. 88 Chevrolet went “dark” today thanks to fans of The Dark Knight Rises and Mountain Dew® (DEW). Following a week and a half of voting at DEWCrew.com, Earnhardt revealed which “Dark Knight”-inspired paint scheme will be featured on the hood of his No. 88 Chevrolet in Michigan next month. In addition to the Bat Shield on the hood, the redesign features Batman and Bane, Gotham City’s newest villain, on either side of the car. The unveiling continues to drive anticipation for Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ The Dark Knight Rises, before the film’s opening day, July 20.



“DEW and ‘Dark Knight’ fans have spoken, and it’s pretty cool that the paint scheme they picked is the one I helped create,” remarked Dale Earnhardt Jr., driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. “Now that the winning design has been selected, I can’t wait to see how fans will react to the car on the track in Michigan.”



Members of the DEW Crew were given the option of four different paint schemes to vote on, with each capturing a different element featured in the third and final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The winning design was revealed by Earnhardt and select DEW Crew members at the Hendrick Motorsports Fan Fest in Concord, N.C., and will race for the first time in Michigan on June 15.



“We aren’t totally shocked that the DEW Crew chose the scheme with the two lead characters as the winning Mountain Dew ‘Dark Knight’-inspired design for Dale’s car,” said Brett O’Brien, Vice President of Marketing for Mountain Dew. “I think we speak for fans everywhere when we say, aside from the Tumbler, we can’t think of a cooler set of wheels.”



Mountain Dew will be bringing fans more unique Dark Knight-inspired experiences next month with a new limited-time-only flavor, Mtn Dew Dark Berry, inspired by the film, and special 16-oz cans of DEW that feature a bat symbol that transforms to the distinctive green color of DEW when chilled. The limited-time offerings will hit shelves in mid-June.

BATMAN LIVE World Arena Tour BATMOBILE IN CHILE! - Wallpaper Background!

Here are a couple of totally wonderful photos sent in to us by a Friend named Meddy who lives in Chile. He was lucky enough to see the BATMAN LIVE World Arena Tour there the other night! In fact, it was the very last show of that country. The 1st photo is the actual real-life Batmobile Car that they use in the event. Meddy said they had it on display at a local Shopping Mall ( I'm trying to get him to steal it for me but he's too honest, ha ha ). But this car looks extremely cool so I made it into a BATMAN WALLPAPER you can use as a background to brighten your PC Desktop, enjoy.

   

Next, is another photo he took during the show. This is the big scene where the giant Joker-Head comes out and the "Joker Story" starts. Meddy said it was totally amazing! OK, This is just a quick post to share this short video that features an extremely RARE and very cool 1960's BATMAN Japanese Tin Toy Batmobile Car by Ichimura Shoten ©1966. This example is not in the best condition, slight "rust issues", but it's SO rare ( even in Japan ) that it doesn't really matter. It's beautiful, check it out and cry!

New BATMAN POWER ATTACK BATMOBILE 2012 Toy by Mattel

We have a Friend named BatmoBilly who's total focus is collecting "Batmobile" Toys and Memorabilia. OK, he does grab a few "Batman items" here and there, but he is really mostly about the Car! You might remember a recent post where we talked about the new line of Batman Toys being made by Mattel where they sort of designed them in-house. In other words, they're not related to any Movie, Comic Book, Animated Cartoon, or etc... Well, here's their version of the Batmobile! It's called the "Total Destruction™ Batmobile" and it's a part of the BATMAN POWER ATTACK Toy Line. I'm not too excited about the Orange Tire Rims but other than that, it's pretty cool! Do you enjoy changing the background on your PC? Well, pretty much every week you can visit the BAT-BLOG.COM for "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!" I gotta say, we're really proud of the pics shown this week mainly because they were submitted by our Bat-Friend, Rich Behrle. He was recently at an event in the Parking Lot of the Topanga Mall, in California. There, he saw this 1989 BATMAN Movie Batmobile. This car is beautiful and it's also one of my personal favorites!
