It's weird, I have visited almost every single state in the United States, including Hawaii ( Not Alaska ), but I have never been outside the US. Yeah, I have never been to a "foreign country". That's extremely weird isn't it? But, I have always dreamed of doing so & if I ever get to someday then one place I do plan to visit is Canada. That special area just seems like a really cool place to be.Anyways, here are some very fun photos sent in to us by a Bat-Blog Fan named Neville. He said that there's a great Canadian Fan Expo Convention in Toronto and to prove it he sent these pics he shot back in 2009. Yes! This is photographic proof that they totally love BATMAN in Canada! Here's a video a Friend sent us on Facebook that I knew I had to share! ( Thanks Jeff ) It's a very well-made fan-film titled BATMAN: DEATH WISH. The Sets, Costume Design, and Editing are all very decent! I mean, I'm sure they didn't have a million-dollar budget but they do a very nice job here. Plus, more importantly, the Actors can actually ACT, ha! 
Today, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, three DC Comics Writers and Artists who are associated with different BATMAN Comic Books will be signing at DREAMLAND COMICS in Libertyville, IL ( It's about an hour north of Chicago ).The three guests include DC Comics' Writers and Artists TONY S. DANIEL ( Batman, Detective ), SCOTT SNYDER ( Batman, Swamp Thing, American Vampire ) and KYLE HIGGINS ( Nightwing, Deathstroke ).They will be in the store for book signing and there will be a limited quantity of books available. Here's a room that all Batman Fans would love to live in. These pics were sent in to us by a friend over at Facebook. His name is David & he says that this is the room where he does a lot of artwork. You can see his Drawing Table over in the corner. There are some really cool pieces of Batman stuff laying around ( Toys, Statues, Books, etc... ) but, of course, the main focus of the room are the wall murals. There are 2 major themes here: Heroes and Villains. For the "Heroes Wall" we get Batman, Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing on a rooftop in Gotham City. It's done in the graphic art style of "The Adventures of Batman and Robin" animated series. Then, we get some Villains: Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Clayface, & Mr. Freeze. They're all hanging out in front of Arkham Asylum! The artwork here is very well done. Overall the room is extremely excellent! A special thanks goes out to David for sharing his personal space. We totally love this room!

He made this desktop wallpaper that features Robin, Nightwing, & Batman. Of course they're action figures, but the clever thing is that the whole picture looks like a Sears family portrait...IT'S AWESOME! The lighting, poses, & camera angle, everything, is done very well. I know a lot of people will love it, thank you Alexandre, good job. Now the next background is one that I made. It's not as creative but JOKER FANS should like it. It's the Clown Prince Of Crime as he appeared on the cover to the "Batman: The Man Who Laughs" Graphic Novel. It came out in 2009 & was done by Ed Brubaker and Doug Mahnke, a great book! OK, right now I could not be more proud! Yesterday I received an e-mail from a Bat-Blog Fan named Xavier. He is 9 years old, in the 4th Grade, & really loves to draw comic book characters. He even has a cool website, called "Super Creations", where he shares his artwork. He also really really loves the Bat-Blog! In the letter he sent this picture he recently drew to help promote the Bat-Blog on his website. It's EXTREMELY SUPER-AWESOME!! Please be sure to click on it for a larger, more detailed, version. He drew a bunch of characters in the "Animated Series" style: Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, The Riddler, Bane, Clayface, & even Two-Face!! I totally love it & really appreciate it, it's great! A good friend to the Bat-Blog, named Neville, sent us some extremely cool photos yesterday. He wrote, "I have one more picture from last year's Polaris Convention to send to you: it's a picture of Nightwing, the Riddler, and Robin, all looking quite intense. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, here's another one of Catwoman too!" Ha Ha, AWESOME!! Thank you Neville. I really love these Comic Book Fans who dress up when they go to comicons. Seriously, it's very cool how creative they are. All of these costumes look really really great...good job! I think a lot of people who were at that show really appreciated these characters. Plus, I think a lot of readers are gonna really love that Catwoman pic...MEOW!! If any other readers have ANY kind of Batman-related photos to share then please send them in, we always love that!
You might remember the previous posts we did about the very cool Hot Toys BATMAN COSBABY Figures. They're making Classic Batman, Modern Batman, Robin, Batgirl, The Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman, & a "Mystery Figure"! Well that figure has finally been revealed...it's NIGHTWING! I knew it was gonna be him, ha ha! I know this has been news for a little while but I didn't want the surpirse to be ruined so I thought I would let it become more commonly known before revealing it. The additional vinyl figure looks pretty AWESOME! I really love these. They're so gosh darn cute, goo goo.
Hey, you know what time it is...Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday™! Yes Sir, every Wed we post 2 FREE Batman-Themed Backgrounds for you to enjoy. But this week I thought I would post THREE because I am so cool, ha ha! Actually, the reason I'm doing 3 of them is because I'm trying to make each one as unique as possible. In other words, they are all very different characters...ya know, diversity! The 1st one is using a graphic from the new Batman: The Brave and The Bold cartoon with a real-life photo background. ( Let me know what ya think of that effect ). Then, the 2nd one is a really sharp CGI graphic of the MAN-BAT Villain from the new Lego Batman: The Video Game. This game is really popular. Last, but not least, is a brand-new image of Nightwing. I'm hoping these last 2 are "obscure" enough that somebody out there will appreciate them. I mean, you just don't see these 2 characters that often & believe me, if you need just backgrounds of "Batman" we have around 3000 here at the Bat-Blog - Check the Bat-Archives, lower left-hand side. ( OK, 3000 is an exageration but the number is close! ) If you have a favorite Batman character you'd like to see as wallpaper then please let us know...we aim to please.
A friend named Dave sent this pic because he knows I don't read NIGHTWING comics but in a recent issue ( # 152 ) they had an event that happened in the Bat-Cave & Nightwing used the 1966 Batmobile Car ( the one you normally see in the 1960's Batman TV Show with Adam West & Burt Ward ) to run down a few ninjas! The car looks awesome, in all it's glory! Plus, it's kinda funny to see it in a modern day comic book, ha ha! Thank Dave for sharing this.
