Just in the nick of time I realized that today is Wednesday and you know what that means, Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!! OK, if you will please indulge me I thought I would post a few that kind of promote this website, BAT-BLOG.COM.

The first one features artwork, a new TV promo shot, from the BEWARE THE BATMAN animated series that will come out later. It's a very cool graphic & I can't wait till this things hits the air.

Next, is a Wallpaper made from a photo of the next DC Comics Statue from everybody's favorite Comic Book Statue & Toy Company, Kotobukiya of Japan. It's THE HUNTRESS!!

BATMAN COSTUMES - Character Cosplay Spotted in Toronto, Canada!

It's weird, I have visited almost every single state in the United States, including Hawaii ( Not Alaska ), but I have never been outside the US. Yeah, I have never been to a "foreign country". That's extremely weird isn't it? But, I have always dreamed of doing so & if I ever get to someday then one place I do plan to visit is Canada. That special area just seems like a really cool place to be.

Anyways, here are some very fun photos sent in to us by a Bat-Blog Fan named Neville. He said that there's a great Canadian Fan Expo Convention in Toronto and to prove it he sent these pics he shot back in 2009. Yes! This is photographic proof that they totally love BATMAN in Canada! Check out these amazing Cosplay Costumes of Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, The Huntress, The Question, Harley Quinn, The Riddler and a few variations of  The Joker. WOW! ( Thanks Neville! )

Cosplay Photos From Wizard World's 2012 Philadelphia Comic Con

Wizard World's Philadelphia Comic Con was last weekend and here's photographic proof that some of our Friends in NJ went to the event. The cool thing is that everybody had a SUPER-GREAT time! As always there were plenty of Batman-Style Cosplay People at the show. The 1st few photos share that & I gotta say that I am totally in LOVE ( real love ) with that Catwoman in the 3rd photo, ha ha, no really!

The list of characters seen, in order, are: Cute Girl Robin, Batman ( Adam West Version ), Batgirl ( 1966 TV Show ), Batman and Robin ( Modern Comic Book ), Modern Catwoman ( My Future Wife ), The Joker, Deathstroke, Killer Moth, Red Hood, Dr. Hugo Strange ( Arkham City version ), The Huntress and a Golden-Age Catwoman.

Also, seen in a few photos is the 1966 Batmobile Car that was supplied to the event by our good friend John Brown, who is a member of the "Gotham City Supercars Club". Big crowds ALWAYS go crazy goo-goo over that beautiful car, that's for sure!

Two Comic Book Artists that are important to the "Batman Universe" were there: Neal Adams and Arthur Suydam. Something very neat is our Friend BatDave got his very 1st Batman comic that he ever owned signed by Neal Adams, very cool! You can actually see Neal's signature in the photo. Now, the very last photo is the group of Friends of ours who all went to the event and they all look pretty happy. OK, I'm super jealous I didn't get to go, ha!

BATMAN WALLPAPERS - The HUNTRESS and Japanese ROBIN THE BOY WONDER Bat-Manga!

OK, How are these are obscure Batman characters, ha! Here are 2 Wallpaper Backgrounds I made to brighten your desktop! The 1st one is an extremely excellent graphic I found that was originally used to promote the HUNTRESS Comic Book Series. I like the simple color palette: Purple and Black with a little bit of White... WAY TOO COOL!

The next one is a scene from the BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD TV Cartoon where they did an episode that was a slight parody of Vintage Japan Bat-Manga!! It shows Robin, the Boy Wonder... with a Ray Gun! I love the Japanese Language BATMAN Logo!

OK, I hope you enjoyed at least ONE of these, ha! But if not, then click the button down below for more recent ones.

Is it wrong to think that an animated character is HOT!? Ha Ha! The next new episode of Batman: The Brave and The Bold is gonna feature a new female superhero character named THE HUNTRESS. Well, "new" to the cartoon, but this femme fatale has been around a long time in the comic books & I'm really excited about seeing her in this animated series. Video - BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD First Look at The Huntress!

Kicking off 13 brand new episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold on the Cartoon Network is an exciting new show titled "Night of The Huntress!", In this episode, Blue Beetle develops a crush on the slightly older and far-more-dangerous femme fatale, The Huntress, but there is little time for love with Baby Face busting his gang out of prison for a major heist! Be sure to watch BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Friday Nights on the Cartoon Network.

BATMAN ORIGINAL ART By Joe Pekar, Part 1

A good friend to the Bat-Blog, known as "The BAT-FAN", recently sent us a few photos of some of his incredible Batman Art Collection. In fact, there were so many that I had to break them up a little bit & will feature more in the near future. The artwork you see here are watercolors all done by Joe Pekar. He commissioned the artist to custom-make these just for him. The Superhero Characters include: Batgirl, Batman, Robin, & The Huntress. As you can see they are truly beautiful. Thank you "Bat-Fan" for sending these great pics, I appreciate that. If any other readers have Batman-themed art to share then please send it in. Also, if you would like to check out more of Joe Pekar's pin-up art then here's a link button to his website:

BATMAN: FORSAKEN Fan-Made Film by Gotham Public Works

For Bat-Fans who have been living under a rock for the last few years "Gotham Public Works" is a charitable organization of cosplayers who are pretty serious about their costumes. They dress-up for all the major comic book conventions & are developing a sort-of cult following. They also show-up at children's hospitals, in costume, for the kids. Well now they have advanced into the world of fan-made film. Their latest adventure is called BATMAN: FORSAKEN. Their plans are to release this in small parts like a movie serial. Up above is the movie poster which looks pretty good. I have also put the "teaser movie trailer" video down below for you to check out. The quality of the video is very excellent, looks production made. Nice lighting, good sound, interesting camera work, etc...and of course, incredible costumes. For me I think the costumes are the most impressive. I mean, they take cosplay to the next level. The attention to details is totally insane! You'll see the Joker, Penguin, Two-Face, Mad Hatter, Harley Quinn, Batman, Batgirl ( Cassandra version ), The Huntress, & Catwoman ( my favorite )! Please enjoy the video & then afterwards let us know what you think about it by leaving a comment down below, thanks.
