NEW BATMAN CHESS Board Game - DC COLLECTION by UK Eaglemoss

For our friends in England, the UK Eaglemoss Company has just announced a brand-new product called the "DC CHESS COLLECTION". Which is kinda weird because basically it's a BATMAN CHESS SET! They pretty much sell the game pieces one at a time ( I think you have to subscribe ) & each piece comes with a special magazine featuring origin stories of that character. They have already announced the 1st five Characters / Game Pieces ( shown here ) & teased about the next three ( Catwoman, Red Hood, & Hush ). The 5 include: Batman, Robin, Joker, Commissioner Gordon, & Two-Face. I scanned their website like crazy trying to find out how tall these pieces are, but nothing, sorry. New BATMAN TOYS - DC Comics Cubees Paper Craft Figures

We have featured many different Paper-Craft Toys at this site before & they're always very popular. Here are some new ones we recently came across that are pretty cool. An Artist named Joshua Wolf has created a huge amount of DC Superheroes Toys you can make. Basically you just print them on card stock, cut them out, & fold/glue them into shape ( Warning: This activity is very addictive ). I'm just showing a few examples here: Batman, Alfred Pennyworth, and the Red Hood / Jason Todd. Yes, the release date for BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD movie just keeps getting closer & closer ( July 27th, I'm really excited! ) so I thought I would post a few new pictures from the film. The 1st pic with Batman & The Joker is my favorite but the one with Robin, The Boy Wonder, is pretty cool too. OK, the one with batman in the Batmobile is pretty awesome. Video - First Look at Batman: Under the Red Hood

Here is a small Video Documentary on the "Making of BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD". This will be the next animated DVD movie from Bruce Timm & the DC Universe. It will start with scenes from the classic comic book story line, "A Death in The Family" & will morph into a more modern day scenario where there is a new villain causing havoc in Gotham City, a guy named the RED HOOD. Plus, it looks like they have actor Bruce Greenwood ( New Star Trek movie ) doing the voice of Batman so that could be pretty cool!
