If you read our previous post then you already know about the new BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY / ASYLUM Products that Triforce will be coming out with. Yes, this company was awarded the license to create 1:1 Scale Prop Replicas of various items from the famous Warner Bros/ Rocksteady Video Game franchise. 

The RIDDLER TROPHY Full Scale Replica is hand-finished and hand-painted
to precision quality. Intricately crafted and cast in polystone, it
measures 19" in height, weighs in at 8 pounds, and features a working LED
effect!

It will retail for around $350. It will also have a very limited run of only 440 pieces. Check out the photos, it looks pretty cool!

Photos From The Recent 2012 ASBURY PARK COMIC CON

Here are some wonderful photos shot at the 2012 ASBURY PARK COMIC CON by our good buddy Batdave. He recently went to this event with his Girlfriend, Lisa & BFF, Dennis. Now, one thing was that was pretty cool was our good friend John of the GOTHAM CITY SUPERCAR CLUB was there & he showcased his 1966 Batmobile Replica Car for the event. It was set-up outside to sort of greet visitors to the show & the car looked great in this "vintage looking" environment. 

OK, you might notice in the 1st photo of the Car that it has a Custom "Battering-Ram" on the front. This is an homage to the episode where they originally had one of these for the car on the 1966 BATMAN TV series, very cool! The thing actually comes off the car. It's basically a Large Disc that is cushioned with leather padding on top of a pole. While the thing was removed Lisa held it upright & proclaimed that it is the "The Bat-Barstool", that's funny! Anyway, it's a cool addition to an already amazing replica. Everybody loved it!

Some of the other photos show 2 great Cosplay People who were dressed-up as the Scarecrow ( Movie Version ) and Harley Quinn ( from Batman: Arkham City ). As you can see their costumes were AMAZING! 

There is also a photo of our buddies Batdave & Dennis with those 2 guys from "THE COMIC BOOK MEN" TV Series. They were there doing promotion because that TV Show is filmed in the same state ( New Jersey ).

OK, so overall it looks like a great event that will hopefully keep growing. Whoops, did I mention this was the very 1st Asbury Park Comic Con? Sorry, yeah, this was the first show! I should also thank Batdave  for sharing his photos and a special "Thank You" also to Lisa, Dennis, & John for appearing in them.

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY - NEW TOYS Series 3 Action Figures

Cool! Here's some awesome photos we just got showing Wave 3 of the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Action Figures. It looks like this time they're going to include: Batman, The Penguin, Ra's Al Ghul, Azrael, and Two Joker-Goon Clowns. No Retail Price has been quoted just yet but you can look for these in stores around September 19th, 2012.

BATWOMAN, BATGIRL, and BATMAN ARKHAM CITY - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

Brand-New Fans of the BAT-BLOG ( where have you been? ) will soon discover that we post a few FREE Batman Backgrounds every week. We call it "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!". Yeah, I know, it's corny but easy to remember.  But anyways, recently I was inspired by some Batman-related Comic Book Covers so that's where these new graphics come from.

The 1st one uses artwork from the cover to the new BATGIRL #12 ( Art by Ardian Syaf and Vicente Cinfuentes ). This issue will be out in August, 2012.

The 2nd one is from BATMAN: ARKHAM UNHINGED # 5 ( Art by Dave Wilkins ), also coming out in August.

OK, Like the ultra cool 1989 BATMAN Movie Figures ( Michael Keaton and Jack "Joker" Nicholson ) and '89 Batmobile are not torture enough, late last night HOT TOYS announced their next wave of Batman-related merchandise, BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY! Yes, they will be making figures inspired by the awesome Video Game! Knowing this company the attention to detail will be insane. Plus, the toys will be extremely cool!! New DC DIRECT - BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Action Figures of MISTER FREEZE and KILLER CROC

DC Direct just released some promo photos of 2 brand-new Action Figures that will be a part of the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Series. Of course we're talking about characters from the recent video game that ROCKS! Shown here are MISTER FREEZE and KILLER CROC!! On man, they look awesome, especially the one of Victor Freeze!! OK, they're both about 7 1/4" tall, will have special packaging, and go on sale around June 6th, 2012.

Batman's HARVEY DENT IS TWO-FACE - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

OK, I know the next major Film Villians in the next Batman movie, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, is gonna be Bane and Catwoman! But I thought it would be fun to pay tribute to the character known as TWO-FACE (Also, Harvey Dent ). So, here are some wacky Wallpaper Backgrounds you will hopefully enjoy, ha!

The first one is a scene from the recent BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game. This version of the character looked really good & was a great enemy to fight. Next up is an image from an older Graphic Novel. This is from the "DARK VICTORY" comic book storyline. It's got the Joker in there too so that's cool.



Then the last one is my favorite. This is a very detailed photo of the HOT TOYS "Harvey Dent/Two-Face" Figure from their DARK KNIGHT MOVIE Toy Line.

Alex's BATMAN ARKHAM CITY - JOKER Tattoo Art

OK, I think this is the very first JOKER TATTOO I've seen from the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game! Our friend Alex sent us this photo last night & said he just got this ink done the other day. He, too, thinks it's the only version of the Joker that he's seen. That's cool. I bet Mark Hamill would be very proud of this. The Joker looks totally sick right here. Plus, it has some great color and shading, AWESOME! ( Thanks Alex )

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY - Free BATMAN INC Video Game Skin!

OK, I thought this was pretty classy! In appreciation of supporting the Video Game Website for BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Rocksteady Studios has just released a FREE "Batman Inc." Skin for you to use in your Batman: Arkham City game! Yes, you read that right, free!

You will be able to download the skin tomorrow from Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Network and Games for Windows Marketplace.

They also know you want to deliver justice on the streets of Gotham as Batman in your favorite skin, any time and all the time. So using the below cheat, you can select any alternative Batman skin and play them in the main game, without having to complete the full game.

To unlock this, simply press the following combination on the Main Menu screen (after you have selected your save slot):

- Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down.

You will get an audio confirmation and when you continue your game, you will get the option to select your favorite skin.

DC Direct just announced that next year they will release the 2nd wave of BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY - SERIES 2 Action Figures! We'll get to hunt down Batman ( Detective Mode ), Catwoman ( Meow! ), The Riddler, Hush, and Jervis Tetch The Mad Hatter! Look for these new toys around April 25th, 2012.

VIDEO - BATMAN ARKHAM CITY and THE ANIMATED SERIES Intro Mash-Up!

Here's a cool video I found the other day that uses BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game visuals blended with the TV Cartoon Intro to BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES. The editing is pretty decent. Plus, it's nice to hear that old Theme Music again... enjoy!

VIDEO - BATMAN ARKHAM CITY LOCKDOWN - HD Video Game Walkthrough For the Apple iPhone & iPad 2

It looks like Warner Bros has created a version of BATMAN ARKHAM CITY called "LOCKDOWN" that is specifically made for Apple iPhone & iPad. Now, it only cost $5.99 so I doubt if it's going to be the entire video game all complete, maybe a few battles, but it looks pretty cool! One side note is EXCLUSIVE to this game is the character, Deathstroke!

Scoot's Awesome BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Inspired Art!!

I've been meaning to get this up for some time but it's so worth it! Awhile back, we got an e-mail from a BAT-BLOG FAN named Scott McMahon aka Scoot. It turns out that "Scoot" is a very talented Graphic Artist and he wanted to share some of his art. We're super glad he did, it's very cool stuff!



This is a Digital Drawing inspired by BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY! OK, his drawing style is obviously more "Batman the Animated Series" than the dark and gritty tone of the Video Game but we did say "inspired". You see, in the game our favorite Dark Knight battles a ton of different Villains and this art represents that. Plus, I love the "Cartoon-Style"!
