New YOUNG JUSTICE "Image" Episode This Saturday - Wallpapers and Teaser Videos

This Saturday on the Cartoon Network will have a brand-new episode of YOUNG JUSTICE titled, "Image". So, Here are some fresh YOUNG JUSTICE Wallpaper Backgrounds and Preview Videos to enjoy. The basic plot of this show will be:

Plus, Zatana and Billy Batson ( Captain Marvel ) will be special guests as they try to solve a mystery involving Evil Sorcerers! New YOUNG JUSTICE TV Cartoon Video Clip and Wallpaper Backgrounds

The next brand-new episode of YOUNG JUSTICE will be titled, "Secrets", and it airs this Friday on the Cartoon Network, November 18th, 2011 at 6:30 pm ( Eastern Time, Check Your Local Listings ). The new video trailer is down below and up above I have posted a few YOUNG JUSTICE Desktop Background Wallpapers for you to enjoy!

The Basic Plot:
On Halloween, Artemis and Zatanna go to Manhattan for a night on the town, only to be hunted by Harm, a psycho in training who is hiding a deadly secret!

VIDEO - The DC NATION is Coming to CARTOON NETWORK in 2012

A new block of DC Entertainment programming will be featured on CARTOON NETWORK next year. It starts in early 2012 and will be called THE DC NATION! Right now the 2 main TV Shows they're hyping are YOUNG JUSTICE & the brand-new Animated Series, GREEN LANTERN ( Both are pretty decent ). They will also feature "Animated Shorts" as bumpers between the show.

This Friday, November 18th, the final episode of BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD will air. But don't cry Batman Fans, it's been announced that there will be a brand-new CGI Batman series. For now, it's being called "BEWARE THE BATMAN". Once more information is available you know the BAT-BLOG.COM will be all over that, stay tuned!!

More New BATMAN MERCHANDISE To Look For!

Here's a quick post to show a few Brand-New BATMAN ITEMS and COLLECTIBLES to keep an eye out for. It looks like FUNKO is continuing their line of DC Universe POP Heroes with the TWO-FACE Vinyl Figure! I don't know why, but I really like this one. Maybe because it's so gosh darn cute, ha! Next is an item that true BATGIRL Fans will really love. Over at the HOT TOPIC website they're selling DC Comics "Girl Superhero" Beauty Products. For an example check out this BATGIRL BERRY LIPGLOSS! I actually really like the packaging design. Then, last but not least, is a DC Universe Action Figure of ROBIN from the YOUNG JUSTICE TV Cartoon. This new toy was spotted at Target.

Reminder - FREE COMIC BOOK DAY is Saturday, May 7th

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow, Saturday, May 7th is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY. This is when you can hit your favorite Comic Book Retail Store ( or Public Library, in some cities ) and pick-up some free comics!! Now, this year there will be 2 books you will want to pick-up that are sort of Batman-related. The 1st one is a "Young Justice / Batman: The Brave and The Bold" issue. This book features stories with characters from each Cartoon Network animated TV series. The 2nd one is totally wacky & comes from Bluewater Productions, "The Mis-Adventures of Adam West". Reading it, I know he mentions the Batman character from time to time but it really is more about Mr. West himself. It's kind of wacky too, ha! For a list of ALL the free books they're gonna have be sure to click HERE! Also, while you're there, you can click on a book's cover & then read a sample of it online ( Read some of the "Adam West" one to get an idea of it ).

Starting next week be sure to visit McDonald's for their next Batman-related Happy Meal Toy Promotion. OK, it's actually for the new YOUNG JUSTICE animated TV series from the Cartoon Network, but there will be Batman and Robin toys included, ha! Just check your local restaurant for details. Some NEW Cool BATMAN ACTION FIGURES To Keep An Eye Out For!

The Bat-Blog always tries to be on top of what brand-new pieces of Batman merchandise are out there. I mean, we're pretty serious Bat-Collectors & this site shares a lot of info on New Toys & Products. The 1st photo is something that's available right now. In fact, this photo was sent in by a friend who had just returned from Wal-Mart. It's a Special BATMAN VS JOKER 2-Pack Action Figure Set. It's made by Mattel from a toy line called "Action League". They're done in a squatty-cartoonish style, a lot like the Brave and the Bold figures. But they're not from the cartoon. They're more like characters from the DC Universe ( The Comic Books ). Speaking of "Cartoons", the next pic shows another 2-pack, this one for YOUNG JUSTICE. These figures are not out yet but will be released later. This set has Batman and Robin, as they look in the TV Show ( very cool! ). Now, the last photo is an item that's been out awhile. It's the DC Comics 75th Anniversary BATMAN KUBRICK Figures Set. I've reported on these before but felt they were worth mentioning again because this pic shows how they were packaged. Which, I didn't know about and really like. The custom "windows" for each figure inside is neat. Plus, the box that opens to display them is pretty cool! I also like that they have the official logo next to each character... nice! One last thing, if you're a Bat-Blog Reader who is also a Batman Toy Collector then please let us know what brand-new items you see out there in the retail stores. It doesn't have to be toy-related either, just "anything Batman"... Thanks.

VIDEO - New YOUNG JUSTICE Preview Clips "Welcome to Happy Harbor"

OK, to be totally honest, when I first heard the news about the new animated series on the Cartoon Network called "YOUNG JUSTICE" I really didn't like the idea. I just knew it was going to be lame. Boy, was I wrong, ha! About a week or so ago I saw the 1st 2 episodes, it was a two-part story, and it was really good. The animation was great! The story was surprisingly very well written. I still sort of have issues with the whole "teenage angst" thing but I'm giving this show a chance & I hope they keep delivering great stuff. If you're a fan of the DC Universe then you're going to love the show.



Anyways, the next brand-new episode of YOUNG JUSTICE will be titled "Welcome to Happy Harbor" and it airs Friday, January 21st at 7:00 p.m. on the Cartoon Network.



The Basic Plot:
After Speedy declines to join the new team, Robin, Aqualad and Kid Flash fear YOUNG JUSTICE is just a big joke…while new member Miss Martian fears there’s no room for her to be part of it. So when the four heroes and Superboy come up against Mister Twister, it looks like all their fears have just been realized…
