NEW BATMAN TOYS - 2012 Hot Wheels THE BAT in Stores Now!

This is a quick post to share this cool photo of a new BATMAN toy. I have not been on the retail hunt in a long time but this 2012 Hot Wheels "Car" of THE BAT, from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES movie, is on evil eBay so I guess it's out now. Man, I really need to get out of the house, ha!

Brand-New BATMAN TOYS You Can Find in Stores Now!

This post is an amazing assortment of reader-submitted photos showing a few brand-new BATMAN items available in stores right now. This is some cool stuff so check it out!

The 1st two pics are from our friend Christopher. He recently grabbed these 2 new Batman Toys on a recent shopping trip. First is a Fisher-Price BATMAN Voice-Comm Heroworld DC Super Friends Figure. Yes, he says a bunch of different phrases & also interacts with other characters in the toy line. Then, he found this cool Fisher-Price DC SUPER FRIENDS 7-Figure Pack Gift Set that is a Store Exclusive for Target. It's got Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Batman, Robin, and even the Joker!

Next up, Here's a new Batman Vehicle Toy ( or toys ) that, until somebody sent me a photo, I had actually never seen before. Which is very strange because I'm usually ALL about the new merchandise & know about it very early on. I guess Mattel is cranking out so much stuff these days that it's impossible to stay on top of it, ha! Anyways, Our Friend Frank bought these new Hot Wheels at his local Toys R Us. They are called, "BALLISTIKS" and there is one of Batman and one of Bane. The artwork is pretty unique. I love the design of the packaging but I gotta say that the actual toy cars are kinda weird, ha!

OK, the last 2 pictures are not "Toys" but are some really cool Wal-Mart Store Displays seen by our Buddy BatDave. They're for the DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie. One is the "Advertising Sign" thing you see when walking into the store ( great graphics! ). The 2nd one shows a cool Batman Cardboard-Shelf thing they have in the "Book Store" section. Wow, that would actually be kinda neat to have for displaying Bat-Books ( Yes, as if I ONLY had the space, ha! ).

NEW TOYS - Imaginext BATMAN GOTHAM CITY COLLECTION Figures and Vehicles EXCLUSIVE at Toys-R-Us!

Check out these really great pics shot by our good friend Batmobilly. He was recently at Toys-R-Us and spotted these special Fisher-Price  DC SUPER FRIENDS Imaginext ( Mattel ) "BATMAN GOTHAM CITY COLLECTION" Figures and Vehicles that are EXCLUSIVE to Toys-R-Us! 

The 1st photo shows the Set of Batman and Catwoman Figures that each come with their own cycle. Then, there are 2 more that are Batman with his Bat-Copter and then a Set that features a GCPD Officer and Bane Figure with a Gotham S.W.A.T. Van!! ( Thank You Batmobilly )

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - Walmart Exclusive JIM GORDON Movie Masters Action Figure

Check out this JIM GORDON / THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie Masters Action Figure by Mattel. Now, there are a few things that make it special. One, it's a Walmart Store EXCLUSIVE so you can only get it there, Jim Gordon comes with his own AXE weapon ( exciting! ), and he needs the AXE because this figure also comes with the "Broken Bat-Signal" piece. This new toy cracks me up, gotta get one!

New BATMAN TOYS - Mattel 1:50 Scale BATMOBILE CAR HOT WHEELS Hitting Stores Now!

Check out these wonderful photos from our Friend BATMOBILLY. He bought some of the new 1:50 Scale Batmobile Hot Wheels the other night. These are the large cars that are sort of like Corgi Toys. This 1st Wave includes 2 Vehicles from the BATMAN RETURNS Movie and 2 from the '66 BATMAN TV Series. The list includes: Armored Batmobile, The Penguin Duck, The 60's Batcopter and The 1966 Batmobile! Now, most of these are re-issues, but if you missed them before then here's your chance to get some!

New Mattel HOT WHEELS BATMAN BATMOBILES Spotted at Walmart

You might have read about these brand-new HOT WHEELS BATMAN Batmobile Toy Cars right here at the Bat-Blog awhile back. Well, our Good Friend and Ace Bat-Reporter BATMOBILLY spotted them, in a special display, at Wal-Mart the other night. Don't worry, they sell them at Target also. These toy cars are really amazing as diecast vehicles but for me there are two very cool things about them: 1. The packaging artwork is awesome ( I really like the use of all the different Bat-Logos ), and 2. They only cost $1.07. Hey, that's something we can ALL afford, ha ha!



There are EIGHT to collect and also keep in mind that some of these are re-issues. For a complete checklist be sure to check out that 1st image of a graphic taken from the back of one card (Click on it for a larger version ).

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - A Few BATMOBILE TUMBLER TOY CARS From Walmart!

Yesterday we posted some pics from our Friend Batmobilly that he shot at Walmart. Well, here are a few Batmobile Tumbler Toys he bought. Two of them are R/C Remote Control. Of course these tie-in to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie. We're expecting that there will soon be a very HUGE FLOOD of TDKR merchandise, ha ha! Just wait, it's gonna be crazy! But check out these pics. 

The 1st one shows 2 of the standard R/C Vehicles: The TUMBLER Batmobile ( Camouflage Version ) and THE BAT! Oh yeah, THE BAT is the thing we see flying around in the new movie trailer: Catwoman, "My Mother always told me to never get into a car with a stranger". Batman, "This isn't a car!".

Next, is a photo of a Batman Toy that is EXCLUSIVE to Walmart. It's not an R/C Car but still cool, looks like a great gift idea for some kid. I like the window box packaging. New THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Action Figures and BATMAN Merchandise in Stores Now!

Here are 2 photo supplied by some friends of the BAT-BLOG that are pretty cool! Batmobilly spotted a DARK KNIGHT RISES Store Display of Action Figures and Vehicles right after the Store Employee just got done putting them out. 

Then, our Friend Marcus spotted these fun BATMAN AND SUPERMAN Fruit-Flavored GUMMY POPS at his Dollar Tree Store! Yes, Superman is trying to leech-off of some of Batman's popularity, again. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - 2012 Comic Con MATTEL EXCLUSIVE Batman Action Figure

In this video Scott Neitlich, aka Toy Guru ( Mattel Marketing Manager ), gives you a preview of the Exclusive 2012 Comic Con BATMAN Action Figure that ties-into THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie. Well, we should not say "exclusive" because all the ones that don't sell at the Comic Con will be offered later on their MATTY COLLECTOR website. But hey, you get the idea! Anyway, this action figure has some amazing box-packaging featuring Wayne Manor and the Bat Cave, plus it has lights and sounds! Just watch the video, you'll see : )

New HOT WHEELS 1:50 Scale BATMOBILE CAR 3-Pack SETS by Mattel

OK, Remember the 1:50 Scale-Sized Diecast Batman BATMOBILE Cars created by Mattel? Of course you do, they were/are totally amazing! Well, our Good Friend & Ace Bat-Reporter Batmobilly spotted these extremely cool 3-Pack Sets at his local Toys-R-Us last night! 



In no particular order, the 1st Set includes: Batman Returns Batboat, 1989 Batwing, and 1989 Batmobile! The 2nd Set includes: Super Friends Batmobile, 1966 Batmobile with Trailer Hitch, and Comic Book Batmobile! The 3rd Set includes: Batman Begins Batmobile, The Dark Knight Bat-Pod, and The Dark Knight Batmobile! 



These 3-PACK SETS all retail for about $25 each & are in stores now ( Sorry, I forgot to ask if they are TRU EXCLUSIVES but I'm assuming they'll be sold everywhere. If we find out otherwise, we'll let ya know ). Thanks Batmobilly!

New BATMAN TOYS and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Action Figures 1st Wave!

This is sort of a weird post but really actually pretty cool if ya think about it, ha! OK, Please let me explain. Here at this site we have a Fan who just so happens to work at Wal-Mart. She's also a Huge Batman Fan & was very excited to see that some brand-new Bat-Toys came in that were related to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. She said the weird thing was that all the Employees there have very strict rules about NOT placing the product on the shelves until Midnight, on May 27th. So, at that time, this new stuff will be appearing. The cool thing was she snapped a photo for us of the Action Figures in the 1st wave. You can see them in the 1st pic. 

Also, as a side story: The 2nd photo features some of the new "Mattel Batman" Figures that are out right now ( they don't have a special release date ). I call them the "Mattel Batman" Toys because they DO NOT tie-into any Comic Book, Movie, Cartoon, Video Game or anything. Their actual name is "Power Attack!". These are designed exclusively by Mattel, what they call "in-house".

New BATMAN TOY - Mattel Hot Wheels R/C Nitro Speeders - Batmobile Tumbler Vehicle

OK, Mattel is totally torturing me with all the cool BATMAN TOYS they keep cranking out, ha ha! Plus, to make matters worse, you know they're gonna go wacky-crazy once THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie appears! In fact, here's a brand-new HOT WHEELS R/C Batmobile TUMBLER Vehicle that is coming out soon called "Nitro Speeders"! I love the WINDOW BOX ART and the toy looks pretty cool too! ( Thanks to our Buddy BATMOBILLY for the heads-up on this ).

NEW BATMAN TOYS - Matchbox Batmobile Car in Canada

A brand-new Matchbox BATMAN Batmobile Car is showing up in Canada in the new 10-packs. It will also be available later as a single pack soon. Not sure if this toy will reach the USA, but I assume it will. This car looks a lot like the Toy Vehicle for the recent Mattel BATMAN Action Figures. But Matchbox is owned by Mattel so that might be why. Stay posted to the BAT-BLOG.COM and we'll let ya know when we find out more info.

NEW DETAIL PHOTOS - 2012 Hot Wheels DC UNIVERSE SERIES Batmobile

Yes, we reported about this NEW Mattel 2012 Hot Wheels Batmobile recently but these photos are different because they show the car OUT of it's original packaging and you can see a lot of cool details. Our good friend, "Skinnybird", opened his up to show us the special features. You can now see the details to the front grill & the scalloped edges of the rear of the car. Overall the design is excellent! ( Thanks for sending these great pics Skinnybird ).

New POLLY POCKET DC Comics Villains Set - 2012 SDCC Exclusive

If you're lucky enough to go to the next San Diego Comic Con then you need to keep an eye out for this very cool 2012 SDCC EXCLUSIVE , a POLLY POCKET DC Comics Villains Set. Yes, All three figures/dolls will come inside a special 3-pack design box. Oh yeah, the Polly Pocket characters are dressed-up like Poison Ivy, Catwoman, and Harley Quinn! The Set retails for around $19.99.

New 2012 BATMAN TOYS and MERCHANDISE Update

OK, This is sort of an unusual post because I usually focus on sharing news about one product at a time but all this news came in at the same time so here we go!

First, we reported awhile back about the new BATMAN Batmobile Hot Wheels Car in the DC UNIVERSE Line by Mattel. But at that time we didn't have a photo of it because it had not been made public yet. Well, here it is! 

Next, here are some new BATMAN and ROBIN items to keep an eye out for. Here are some fun toys in the DC SUPER FRIENDS Toy Line by Fisher-Price ( also owned by Mattel ). They're called "Little People Wheelies" and the cool thing is they're only $4.00, that's smart.

Then, last but certainly not least, is a photo showing a new "bagged" Lego BATMAN Toy JETSKI! This is part of their DC UNIVERSE SUPER HEROES line. Again, smart pricing here, just $5.00.

New BATMAN POWER ATTACK BATMOBILE 2012 Toy by Mattel

We have a Friend named BatmoBilly who's total focus is collecting "Batmobile" Toys and Memorabilia. OK, he does grab a few "Batman items" here and there, but he is really mostly about the Car! You might remember a recent post where we talked about the new line of Batman Toys being made by Mattel where they sort of designed them in-house. In other words, they're not related to any Movie, Comic Book, Animated Cartoon, or etc... Well, here's their version of the Batmobile! It's called the "Total Destruction™ Batmobile" and it's a part of the BATMAN POWER ATTACK Toy Line. I'm not too excited about the Orange Tire Rims but other than that, it's pretty cool! THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - New Batman Toys and Movie Merchandise Coming Out!

Here's just a quick post to give Bat-Collectors a heads-up on a few new items coming out after the release of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie! First, there will be a company making some Life-Size Cardboard Standees of Batman, Bane, and Catwoman. These are just prototype pics, we'll have the real deal later. I've always liked these thing but they can take-up some major floor space, ha!

Next is this Hot Wheels THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - WALL TRACKS Batman Playset! It looks like you might be able to mount this thing on the wall and it comes with a Tumbler Batmobile!! I totally love the graphics on the box packaging! OK, now listen, we expect that all the major Toy Companies are going to be going crazy with the merchandising for this film. So, if YOU see anything new in stores then please let us know, thanks.

New Batman Toys - BANE Hot Wheels DC Universe Series

Here's a quick post to share a recent retail store find by our Good Friend and Toy Reporter, Batmobilly! He snagged these 2 new Hot Wheels DC UNIVERSE Cars the other night, a Wonder Woman and Bane! Looking on the back of the package is a newer "Batman" Car. Then, we have a random "Concept Art" photo of a few different cars. WOW, Mattel is going crazy with these aren't they?! The one in the very middle looks like a TWO-FACE Car, Cool!

Brand-New BATMAN Action Figure Toy Line Planned by Mattel

Later in the year we'll be seeing some brand-new BATMAN TOYS that are totally created by Mattel's in-house Design Group. What I mean by that is these toys will not be tied into any existing Movie, Animated Series, Comic Book or TV Show. This new series of figures will be totally created by Mattel. The name of this toy line is "Batman Power Attack™" and shown here are some examples of the toys and their packaging. Check out the different Batman figures, the 1st Villain issued will be Killer Croc, and a pretty cool BATMOBILE Vehicle!
