THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS - New Images From The DC Universe Animated Film

I've been meaning to post these new photos for a few days but have been inundated with a lot of other things, sorry! Anyways - HERE WE GO! Here are some new sneak-peek pics of the art direction for the next DC Universe Animated Film DVD, "THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS". 

Of course we're talking about the Classic 1986 Frank Miller Graphic Novel and I'm loving the images of Carrie Kelley ( 13 Year Old Girl Robin ). OK, The Mutants are pretty cool to see too!

New UK Book - HOLY FRANCHISE, BATMAN! By Gary Collinson

I just got some news about a brand-new "Batman Movie & TV History" Book titled, "Holy Franchise, Batman!", which was written by Gary Collinson. The book covers the ENTIRE film and television history of the character. We're talking from the 1940's Serials to Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher, Christopher Nolan, and all of the animated TV cartoons. It even has a full episode guide for the 1966 Adam West and Burt Ward TV Series. 

One thing though, I think this book will only be available in the UK & I'm guessing it will be available on UK Amazon? Sorry, Publisher didn't share many details. But one thing I do know is that the release date is June 29th, 2012. Also, sorry my description is kinda vague but the Publisher never sent me a Review Copy either. So, I can't really review it or anything. But it sounds like a fun book, especially for fans of the bat-films.

VIDEO - New BEWARE THE BATMAN Teaser Trailer From The Cartoon Network

As most Bat-Fans probably know already, DC Nation and the Cartoon Network plan to broadcast a brand-new Batman CGI computer-animated TV series called BEWARE THE BATMAN! Well, Warner Bros finally released a Teaser Trailer & it's totally beautiful!! Crank-up your speakers because the sound of the Batmobile engines is a very cool special effect. Plus, you're gonna want to hear Batman's "new voice". Unfortunately, the 1st episode isn't set to air until 2013. But hey, stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG.COM for all future information.

This Saturday on the Cartoon Network will have a brand-new episode of YOUNG JUSTICE titled, "Image". So, Here are some fresh YOUNG JUSTICE Wallpaper Backgrounds and Preview Videos to enjoy. The basic plot of this show will be:

DC NATION Video - THE NEW TEEN TITANS - Promo Clips From Cartoon Network

I've been meaning to post this for a few days. Here's a brand-new DC NATION Promo for the Cartoon Network. It's some really cool Stop-Motion Claymation that was created by Aardman Animations Studio. Yes, the Creative Team that does "Wallace and Gromit", among others. This video features a ton of DC Comics characters such as: Superman, Batman and Robin, Catwoman and The Joker! Enjoy.

Here's a Vintage TV Commercial we have featured here before at the BAT-BLOG.COM but this one is special because it's the "Italian version"! Yes, this advertisement also appeared on Television in Italy and was made to sell the BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Video Game for the Wii Console and Nintendo DS... how cool! I don't know, I think it's neat hearing BAT-MITE, GREEN ARROW, and BATMAN speaking Italian, ha ha!

Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday... on Thursday!

OK, I know I was supposed to post 2 FREE Batman Backgrounds yesterday for "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" but I woke-up with a major crick in my neck recently and I've been suffering for a few days ( Waa! Waa! ). Yesterday it was so bad I thought I was going to die, ha! But, I need to do some posts today so I'm forcing myself to do it ( I'm crying while typing ).

These 2 images were inspired by the BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Cartoon from the 1990's. I have always, and always will, love that special TV Show. The Stories, Art Direction, Everything... was just totally GREAT! Anyways, I hope you like them.

BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD - MITEFALL! The Last Episode - Promo Trailers and Wallpapers

The BAT-BLOG.COM has some sort of bad news to report. Tonight ( Friday, November 18th, 2011 ) is the very VERY last episode of BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD. It's titled, "MITEFALL!" and will star Bat-Mite! On a personal level I really loved this show for it's Humor, Animation Quality, Art Direction, Vehicle Design, and most of all... bringing back a TON of great Superheros and Villains from the Silver-Age History of DC Comics. Man, they found some extremely obscure characters sometimes, ha! It will also be kind of sad watching the last episode tonight. But, this highly-rated TV show did have a great 3 year run! So as always, I guess, all good things come to an end. On a happy side-note: There is news of a brand-new CGI Animation "BEWARE THE BATMAN" to become a part of Cartoon Network's new DC NATION line-up. YEA! we all have that to look forward to!!

New YOUNG JUSTICE TV Cartoon Video Clip and Wallpaper Backgrounds

The next brand-new episode of YOUNG JUSTICE will be titled, "Secrets", and it airs this Friday on the Cartoon Network, November 18th, 2011 at 6:30 pm ( Eastern Time, Check Your Local Listings ). The new video trailer is down below and up above I have posted a few YOUNG JUSTICE Desktop Background Wallpapers for you to enjoy!

The Basic Plot:
On Halloween, Artemis and Zatanna go to Manhattan for a night on the town, only to be hunted by Harm, a psycho in training who is hiding a deadly secret!

VIDEO - The DC NATION is Coming to CARTOON NETWORK in 2012

A new block of DC Entertainment programming will be featured on CARTOON NETWORK next year. It starts in early 2012 and will be called THE DC NATION! Right now the 2 main TV Shows they're hyping are YOUNG JUSTICE & the brand-new Animated Series, GREEN LANTERN ( Both are pretty decent ). They will also feature "Animated Shorts" as bumpers between the show.

This Friday, November 18th, the final episode of BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD will air. But don't cry Batman Fans, it's been announced that there will be a brand-new CGI Batman series. For now, it's being called "BEWARE THE BATMAN". Once more information is available you know the BAT-BLOG.COM will be all over that, stay tuned!!

In order to save Batman in the present time, the Justice League International must travel to various eras in time and aid that era’s Batman who is being hunted down by the minions of Batman’s old foe, Equinox. Superhero Guests include: Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Guy Gardner. Also, the Creeper appears in the teaser section.
