THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - Batman Spotted in Sendai, Japan!!

Here at the BAT-BLOG we have a friend in Japan named Ray who sent us these wonderful photos from his recent trip to the movies. This is an advertising display seen in Sendai, Japan to promote THE DARK KNIGHT RISES film. There, the movie doesn't have a release date until next week and everyone is really excited! Our Good Friend Kuan sent us some totally wonderful photos showing some of the Banner Advertising for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie in Singapore. They feature Batman and Bane, very cool! 



Also, look at the last photo down below ( you might need to click on it for a larger version ). These three photos together are ones that Kuan has sent to us over the years. They show one special Movie Theater in Singapore where they have had huge advertising in the front of the building for each individual Batman Nolan film, amazing!! ( Thank You Kuan! )

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman, Bane and Catwoman Invade NYC Times Square!

Yesterday we posted some wonderful photos from a BAT-BLOG Fan named "BatMatt" who recently made a trip to New York City, NY. Now, of course, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie is promoted there like crazy and he said he saw cool stuff everywhere! Like, for example, the pics we posted previously were ones he shot in Chinatown.

Check out these extremely cool photos shot by our Friend "BatMatt" who lives in Marietta, GA. ( Be sure to click on them for larger HD versions ). He recently made a trip to New York City around the 4th of July and said that THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie is promoted there like crazy!! To prove it he got some excellent pics in Times Square ( which we're gonna share in a future post ) and then here are some he took in Chinatown. Check out these totally fun photos sent to us from our Buddy Marcio who lives in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Rio de Janeiro ( Brazil ). Just the other day he spotted this HUGE Advertising Display for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie on the side of a Subway Car. Oh Man, that is so cool!! The graphics feature both Batman and Bane. Plus, I think it's kinda cool to see "foreign language" used with it as well. ( Thanks Marcio, great pics! )

In our ongoing coverage of all THE DARK KNIGHT RISES advertising efforts here are 2 really cool photos submitted by our friend Chip Kidd. He recently spotted these really awesome BATMAN/BANE advertisements for the new Batman movie while walking around NYC. It looks like Warner Bros and DC Entertainment are finally busting loose and going crazy with the Batman Billboards that advertise THE DARK KNIGHT RISES film, that's cool! THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - New BATMAN Movie Hyped on Warner Bros Studio Building

Check out this extremely cool photo from our Bat-Friend Matt. He was driving down the street, randomly going by the Warner Bros Studio Building, when all of a sudden, BAMM! There's a HUGE Billboard Sign on the bldg advertising THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie! Yes, it's the Movie Poster with Bane turning his back, walking away, with a broken BATMAN Mask on the ground. AWESOME! ( Thanks Matt for sharing this great pic, I'm actually JEALOUS! )

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES - Batman Movie PROMO BUS Spotted in Hong Kong

WOW! Here are some really great pics! A friend of ours recently sent us these photos of a special PROMO COMMUTER BUS adverting THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie! Now, don't go out looking for this thing near you because you won't find it. Well, unless you live in Hong Kong! I totally love the all-over graphics on this thing and the "foreign" lettering, nice! Video - DC Comics Superhéroes TV Comercial de Coca-Cola 2012 Mexico

Right now, Coca-Cola is airing this totally beautiful TV Commercial in Mexico featuring many DC Comics Superhero Characters! It shows Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Superman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, The Flash, Aquaman, and others.... plus, you gotta LOVE that Batmobile Car! ( Hey Ed, Muchas Gracias! )

Vintage BATMAN DC SUPERHERO Food Product Packaging

As a Serious BATMAN Collector I go completely goo-goo over "Food Products", ha ha! I mean, they're usually items you consumed as a little kid so they bring back a lot of nostalgic memories. Plus, I love the Packaging Design ( Fonts, Graphics, etc... )

Here are a few random examples:

The 1st image are 2 different BATMAN PEANUT BUTTER Jars. The one on the left is from ©1966 ( glass jar, metal lid ) and the other one is from ©1978 ( all plastic ). Cool Graphics!

Next up is a box of Nabisco DC SUPERHEROES Cookies. OK, totally wonderful vintage graphics from ©1982. It's funny how this artwork almost seems "retro" now, ha!

Then we have 2 different advertisements: The 1st one is pretty special because this appeared in Retail Store Sales Brochures in Finland. Yes, Finland! Back in the 1960's they had BATMAN Soda Pop and finding one of these extremely rare bottles today is like the Holy Grail of collecting.

Last, but not least, is a more current Magazine Ad for DC SUPERHERO Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. There were 3 different boxes of the Trinity: Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman. These were made ©1998 and were kind of tied into the Batman TV Cartoon of the time. I actually remember buying these when they were in stores and the pasta was in "Superhero" shapes, ha!

I think I'm losing my mind because I can't remember if I posted this awesome video before, ha! But either way, here's a fun blast from the past! This is the Vintage TV Commercial for the BATMAN RETURNS ( 1992 Movie ) Tiger Handheld LCD Video Game. I actually have a few of these electronic toys in my personal collection. They're so cheesy... but that's what makes them cool!

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Advertising Wall Mural, in The Bronx, is UP and Completed!

Our Friend Michael sent us this awesome photo showing the BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Mural he gets to see everyday when going to work, lucky! This painted billboard advertising the Video Game is in The Bronx, New York. Michael had sent us a pic awhile back while they were painting it, if you wanna see that then click HERE! BATMAN ARKHAM CITY - Advertising Propaganda Spotted in Mexico City!

Check out these cool photos sent in by our friend Diego, who lives in Mexico City. He said that 2 guys were spotted the other night driving around town in a pick-up truck with "Gotham City Police Department" graphics on the side. In the back was a huge projector & they went around projecting a few images onto the sides of buildings. They included: The BAT-SYMBOL LOGO, The BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Logo ( with Release Date ), and one for the RIDDLER announcing the Riddler's Mexican Twitter Account, @3NIG_MA. Wow! How cool is that?! ( Muchas Gracias, Diego! )

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Advertising Wall Mural Painting Spotted in The Bronx!

In New York ( the BRONX to be exact, ha! ) the Bat-Blog has a friend named Michael and everyday when he leaves work he gets to see this BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Wall Mural Billboard being painted! It looks like it will feature the Dark Knight & the Joker staring at each other in battle... COOL! Hopefully, Michael will send us a photo of the completed project ( Hint, Hint ). OK, Yes, I'm a little JEALOUS!

BATMAN LIVE TOUR Poster Spotted in Paris, France

Wow! Now how cool is this? A Bat-Blog Fan named Stephane, who was sweet enough to think about our site, shot this very cool photo with her smart phone... in France!! Yes, she spotted this cool French BATMAN LIVE WORLD ARENA TOUR Advertising Poster while strolling through the beautiful streets of Paris. Click on the photo up above for a larger picture. Video - TV Commercial BATMAN LIVE World Arena Tour

Right now, in the UK, this "BATMAN LIVE - World Arena Tour" TV Commercial is hitting the airwaves ( In England, they call it an "Advert "). The ad features some very cool special effects where "time is frozen & shown in 3D". Plus, we also get to see the characters costumes really well. Oh man, I can't wait till this show hits the US!

It's funny how young Adam West looks in this clip & it's also kinda cool to see the old vintage Cereal Box with the early version of Tony The Tiger... "Thhheeeyyy'rreee GREAT!"
