Based on the hit TV animated series, each Action Pack comes with a figure, action comic and game card. There are 12 to collect!

DC Direct's MAD Magazine JUST-US LEAGUE OF STUPID HEROES Action Figures

In early April of 2012, if the Mayan Calendar Theory doesn't kick-in & we're all still alive, then DC Direct has plans to release a brand-new set of Action Figures called "JUST-US LEAGUE OF STUPID HEROES". They will feature ALFRED E. NEUMAN, the Mascot for MAD Magazine, as a different member of the Justice League of America: Superman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Robin, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Arrow, and even The Joker. I was a HUGE Fan of MAD Magazine when I was a little kid & totally love these new toys! I gotta say that one of the JOKER is my favorite. Alfred E. Neuman just seems so appropriate for that character, Ha Ha!

New Funko DC Universe POP! Vinyl Figure Toys Coming Soon!

Here's a prototype picture from the recent 2011 Funko Toys Catalog showing the 2nd Wave of DC Universe POP! Vinyl Figures. Now the main reasons I'm listing them here is because one of them is Batman-related, Two-Face! But the other Superheroes are cool as well: Hawkman, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, & Shazam! Right now there is no exact release date but I'm guessing sometime around August. Stay tuned to the Bat-Blog & we will let you know ( We'll also have some sharp photos of the actual products as soon as possible ).

New DC UNIVERSE ONLINE STATUES - Batman and Catwoman

OK, Since the Bat-Blog is ALL about the Dark Knight I'm just posting photos of the Batman-related statues, Batman and Catwoman. But before I get ahead of myself, here's the deal. For 2011 DC Direct is coming out with a huge set of statues to celebrate the entire DC UNIVERSE ONLINE Video Game world. They measure approx. 7 1/2" tall & are cold-cast porcelain. They're also based on the comic book art of Jim Lee. So far there are 10 statues planned to be released in small waves during 2011 but I think they will add even more once the video game becomes very popular. Who are the characters made so far? You have Batman, Catwoman, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Zatanna! Here's a brand-new Batman Toy to look out for on your next trip to Target. Here's the MATCHBOX CAR 5-Pack Gift Set with a BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD TV cartoon theme. SQUATZ - DC UNIVERSE - New Figures Checklist

You might remember reading about the brand-new SQUATZ toys here at the Bat-Blog about 2 weeks ago. We had some prototype pics of the packaging & mentioned them. Well, I have now seen the actual product, in my hands, & they're extremely cool! What I'm talking about is the new line of DC UNIVERSE / SQUATZ FIGURES made by Wild Planet. They are compact collectible figures of our favorite DC Comics characters embedded in dissolving tablets. They are sold 2 figures per pack. One figure is visible & the other is hidden. The list of Core Characters ( visible ) include: Batman, The Joker, The Penguin, Green Lantern, Superman, & The Flash. The list of Bonus Characters ( hidden ) include: Aquaman, Robin, Lex Luthor, Gorilla Grodd, Green Arrow, Hawkman, & Wonder Woman. Overall there are 13 different ones to collect. New BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Toys at McDonalds!!

Finally! Today, McDonalds released a photo of what the new BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Toys for the US market are gonna look like ( click on the pic up above for a larger version )!! There will be 8 toys to collect. Basically it's 6 figures & 2 vehicles. The figures include: Batman, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Blue Beetle, Plastic Man, & The Joker. The other ones are the Batmobile Car & Black Manta's Robot Ship. Plus, here's some added cool news. Each toy will be imprinted with a special code number that you can use to log-in at the McDonald's website to unlock a "Virtual Batmobile"!! Last night I went to McDonalds & asked then about this new set of toys & they said it would still be another week or two until they release them...So, what do you think about them?! STREETS OF GOTHAM - FULL THROTTLE Batman the Brave and The Bold - Flash Video Game

Over at the DC BEYOND website they have a new free online BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD 3D Flash Video Game called "STREETS OF GOTHAM: FULL THROTTLE!". It looks pretty cool! I have not played it yet but it's a race car racing game with Batman, Catwoman, Green Arrow, The Joker, The Huntress, Green Lantern &, I think, Wildcat. The goal is to win a few races, in a row, so you can unlock a new vehicle for Batman. Oh, it's the BAT-JET! Yes, you get to fly around the track! Here's a link to check it out, just click HERE!

New BATMAN - THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Merchandise Products

Alright, I thought I'd share some news on a few brand-new unusual BATMAN: THE BRAVE & THE BOLD products that are out there now. The 1st one is an EASTER EGG DECORATING KIT that was sold at Toys-R-Us. Now, how did this piece of merchandise get by me? I never knew they made it until later. I'm not sure if they're still out there ( maybe on clearance? ) but I hope they release them again next year. It's not really a big deal but the graphics are kinda cool. Now speaking of graphics, the next product is loaded with great images from the TV cartoon! It's a "Provo Craft Cricut Batman Activity Shape Cartridge". This cartridge contains images of Batman, Green Arrow, the Blue Beetle, Aquaman, Red Tornado, and The Joker, along with an action-style font that would be ideal for your child's room, homemade comics, or scrapbook pages. You can also cut out an exciting assortment of party supplies, such as costume pieces, party favors, gift boxes, cards, envelopes, and 3D gadgets that will make your birthday kid feel like a Hero. I gotta say that I totally love those 2 Batman & Joker Paper Toy Figures in the pic, they're very cool! But I don't think I'll be buying this because to use the cartridge ( which is around 50 bucks ) you gotta have a special Cricut Machine. It's basically a "printer & shape-cutter" all built into one. They have different models & the cheapest one is around $120.00. Now on eBay you can buy a used one for around 60 dollars, but the whole package is sort of too expensive for me. But if you're an Arts & Crafts person who already has this machine then the cartridge is pretty cool. I've supplied a link down below for where to buy one.

Video - BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Voice Actor Interviews By The Electric Playground!

The Electric Playground got to interview a few of the voice actors from BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD. We get to hear from Diedrich Bader, the voice of Batman, who is always really great because he's very funny & seems like a really cool guy. Then there is John Di Maggio, who is the voice of Aquaman. Yes, "Outrageous!". We also get to hear from James Arnold Taylor, who plays 2 different superheroes on the show: Guy Gardner & Green Arrow.

BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Gotham City Raceway - Slot Car Racing Set

Our good buddy "Batmobile Billy" recently sent us some photos of a new addition to his Batman Car Collection. It's a Slot Car Racing Set with a "Batman: The Brave & The Bold" theme. It's called "GOTHAM CITY RACEWAY!". It's made by TYCO RC, which I think is owned by Mattel now. You get a bunch of Race Track, 2 Controllers, a Few Cardboard Cut-Outs of Different Scenes, a Batmobile Slot Car, & Green Arrow's car. This is kinda funny because they usually make these sets with the other car being Batman's enemy ( usually the Joker ). This time it's Green Arrow, which kind of makes sense since they're always competing in the cartoon. Billy told me that the cars look really great ...but they're a lot smaller than usual. But either way this is a Batman Race Set I am gonna have to get because I really love the TV Show & this item looks really cool! ( Thanks Billy for sending the nice pics ).

TOY FAIR 2009: Batman The Brave and The Bold Action Figures by Mattel

Every year at the annual Toy Fair Convention there is always a toy that really stands out & is always a big surprise. This year, 2009, the big news was that The Joker must be appearing in a future episode of Batman: The Brave and The Bold because Mattel is adding THE JOKER action figure to the next wave of toys. OMG, He looks amazing! This one is defiantly gonna be a "must have" toy for collectors! Now, all the other figures are characters we all already know because they have already been featured on the Cartoon Network animated TV show: Sports Master, Despero, B'Wana Beast, Gentleman Ghost, Plastic Man, Green Arrow, The Atom, The Joker, and, of course, Batman ( 7 different versions of him to be exact, ha ha ).
