Here are some brand new very fun BATMAN Toys to collect! Well, for our friends in Europe anyway! Tesco Stores there have an exclusive on the BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Mini-Mix Figures and Card Game. Based on the hit TV animated series, each Action Pack comes with a figure, action comic and game card. There are 12 to collect! Here's a list:Batman, Black Manta, Gentleman Ghost, Gorilla Grodd, The Joker, Plastic Man, Flying Batman, Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Hanjar Ro, Aquaman, and The Atom!OK, now these are sold both online and at actual TESCO Stores all over Europe. We have included a Store Map here ( last pic ) and you can see that they are mostly focused in England and Ireland but also appear to have shops in France, The Netherlands, & Belgium... maybe? Sorry, for more info on store locations please be sure to visit their website. Also, here's the BATMAN MINI-MIX official website where you can get more information, just click HERE! They sell the packs online but I'm not sure if they ship to the USA ( The only way to find out would be to complete the order form. If you live in the US & manage to order some from them, please let us know ). Also, a Special THANK YOU goes out to our Good Friend Guenter in Germany for letting us know about these ultra-cool toys!
Our good friend "Batmobile Billy" sent us a photo from his iPhone recently of his trip to Toys-R-Us in Oklahoma City, OK. It looks like there are some new Mattel BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Action League Figures on the shelves & if you go to Toys-R-Us they have an exclusive "Arch Rivals Battle Pack" with 6 special figures ( Be sure to click on the photo up above for a larger version & it's the package in the middle ). Now, these are the smaller-type action figures that I guess are made for very little kids. But, we adult bat-toy collectors really love these too because they're so gosh darn cute! Thank you for sending the cool pic Billy & if any other readers learn about any new pieces of Batman Merchandise ( anything Bat-related! ) then please send us a message. Our e-mail button is always on the top right-hand side of this website.
Every year at the annual Toy Fair Convention there is always a toy that really stands out & is always a big surprise. This year, 2009, the big news was that The Joker must be appearing in a future episode of Batman: The Brave and The Bold because Mattel is adding THE JOKER action figure to the next wave of toys. OMG, He looks amazing! This one is defiantly gonna be a "must have" toy for collectors! Now, all the other figures are characters we all already know because they have already been featured on the Cartoon Network animated TV show: Sports Master, Despero, B'Wana Beast, Gentleman Ghost, Plastic Man, Green Arrow, The Atom, The Joker, and, of course, Batman ( 7 different versions of him to be exact, ha ha ). So, what do you think about the "New Joker"?
This week's episode of BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD is titled "Dawn of the Dead Man!” ( Episode 7 ) guest stars Smallville’s Michael Rosenbaum ( Lex Luthor ) as “Dead Man” and airs this Friday, January 16th on the Cartoon Network at 8:00 PM, 7:00 Central. Deadman and Batman team up as spirits to stop Gentleman Ghost from raising an army of undead criminals. Green Arrow and Speedy Thief join in the battle to save London. Plus, everybody is excited about this show because the early teaser will be Batman and Kamandi as they battle a horde of monsters from the future...it sounds awesome!
