BATMAN APPEARANCES in the MOTHER GOOSE & GRIMM Newspaper Comic Strip

Every now and then, in the newspaper, you'll see a reference to BATMAN in one of the Comic Strips. There are 2 that do this a lot. One is "Bizarro" by Dan Piraro, a great strip with wonderful artwork & fun humor! Then, shown here, are a few examples of "Mother Goose & Grimm" by Mike Peters. I've seen this guy make fun of "Batman" many times & I'm thinking he's a huge DC Comics Fan. Here are a few recent ones that are totally hilarious! Yeah, I'm just not in the spirit of posting this morning & feeling kinda depressed. So, I thought I'd just post a few funny BATMAN Pictures & Humor Photos and see if I can cheer myself up, ha! Fashion Tips From Comic Strips

The other night, while totally wasting time on the Internet ( Ha Ha! ), I discovered this really cool website run by a girl named Betty Felon. She writes a blog called "FASHION TIPS FROM COMIC STRIPS" and it's actually pretty cool! She finds tons of Comic Book-Inspired fashions and Real-Life Clothing, then writes about it. Most of the stuff is for Girls. But anyways, I thought I'd share it.



Oh yeah, here are some brand-new pants made by Tripp NYC that are inspired by Batman Villains, Harley Quinn and Two-Face! This is the kinda stuff you can discover there, just click HERE!

BATMAN HATES CHRISTMAS - Funny Humor Pictures

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! Here's a random selection of "Christmas Theme" BATMAN Humor Pictures that are pretty funny! The 1st one shares the Dark Knight's true feelings about the Holiday, ha! Next up is a nice EXTRA LIFE Comic Strip by Scott Johnson. It seems like Robin is trying to use Santa Claus to start some trouble. Last, is a really great "Batman Song" Christmas Card I saw on the Etsy website that somebody was selling ( I think they're all sold out ). Most Bat-Fans will totally get the graphics on there. Here's a hint, "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, Robin Laid an Egg...", ha ha! I think this would make an excellent T-Shirt graphic too.

BATMAN HUMOR - Hilarious and Funny Comic Strips!

Here's a quick post to share some totally hilarious BATMAN-RELATED COMIC STRIPS I have collected. The 1st one is from the Syndicated Newspaper BIZARRO Comic Strip. I know this Cartoonist is a HUGE Batman Fan because he does one with our favorite hero every now and then.



Now, I'm not sure who the Artist is on the 2nd one but the concept is great! It goes on the idea of, "What If Batman had been in a different mood while developing the concept of being Batman". It's a great parody on the Golden Age Origin Story!



The 3rd one is directly related to the 1966 BATMAN TV Show. For everybody who knows the trick of how they always filmed the Classic "Wall Climbing Scenes" you'll find this one hilarious! ( See Reference Photo for clues, ha! )

1940's BATMAN Sunday Comic Strip Pages, IN COLOR!

Over at the "Golden Age Comic Book Stories" Website a Blogger scanned a few 1940's BATMAN SUNDAYS from the New York Sunday Mirror Tab Sections. They're all from 1946. The Artwork is by Jack Burnley, among others. They are all a total joy to read & the vintage graphics are completely beautiful.
