Parody Webcomic: BATMAN AND SONS

Awhile back I discovered a very interesting webcomic that, at the time, I meant to share because it's actually kind of cool & the drawing style is really excellent. But, being busy with this site, I sort of forgot about it. Then later a friend mentioned it to me & I was like, oh yeah, that is a cool site. I have to say something about it. But then I couldn't find it ( I have like 4 million bookmarks, ha ha ). Then I got busy & forgot about it again. Well, just recently a Bat-Blog Reader wrote me about it, asking if I had ever heard of a site called BATMAN AND SONS. He sent a link. When I got there I laughed & thought, OK, I have to report it now...so, finally, here it is! ( Thanks to Jim for re-reminding me! ) Now it's sort of a high-concept kinda thing & to get into it you have to release all the preconceived feelings you have about the Batman character. Basically, you just have to sort of go with it! The idea is that Batman is a Father & all the Robin characters through the years are his small children. There's even a tiny baby who is the "Batman Beyond" character. I guess you can say it's a little bit like a TV Family Sitcom. Yes, see, I said it was kinda weird. But once you start to read it the thing sort of grows on you. Now, I'm assuming that some people will think it's charming & others ( mainly uptight crybabies ) won't like it at all. It reminds me a lot of the recent DC Comics title "Tiny Titans", where all the characters are small children. I don't know. Please check it out & let me know what you think about it. Here's a link, just click HERE!

Batman Action Figure VS Sandwich Economics

Here's a totally hilarious "I'm Not From Here" web comic strip by Kenn Minter. It explains his new theory on the new American economy. It's funny because it is so true. It might also be the reason that my Amazon sales have dropped to nothing, ha ha!

LEAST I COULD DO Webcomic Pokes Fun at Batman & The DC Universe

Here at the Bat-Blog we recently posted some funny Batman-related comics & humor photos that were sent in by Bat-Blog readers. They were all great but one caught my eye because it had a logo for the comic strip & listed the creators. I got to thinking about it, hit Google, & came up with their website. Actually, it's a webcomic & it's titled "LEAST I COULD DO". It's drawn & written by Ryan Sohmer & Lar Desouza. The artwork is pretty amazing & the nice thing is that it's really funny! Lately they have been poking fun at the DC Universe: Superman, Wonder Woman, & of course, Batman. There's a few examples posted here & if you like what you see then just click this link button down below. But, please remember to BOOKMARK the Bat-Blog before ya go!

WebComic: BATMAN MEETS DICK TRACY By Positive Brand

This post is kinda fun. Yesterday my girlfriend was very excited about finding a really obscure Batman News item for me, she's sweet. Actually she found a really cool webcomic where 2 artists, Mike Heronime & Thomas Davison, created a fantasy story of BATMAN MEETS DICK TRACY. The "Graphic Novel" artwork looks a lot like the work of Frank Miller but actually pretty good. Also, The story is interesting, especially if you're a fan of vintage Dick Tracy & Batman. I don't wanna spoil the plot or anything but I know many of my readers will enjoy it. Please comment down below & let us know what you think about it. We will have more posts like this in the future so be sure to subscribe to our RSS feed or bookmark this page. Now, click the button below & enjoy some nice reading.
