Lana's THE DARK KNIGHT RISES CATWOMAN Cosplay Photos

MEOW! Check out these amazing pics sent to us by a lovely Woman named Lana Marie. Her hobby and passion is Superhero Cosplay and She's really serious about it! I mean, just look at the photos. This is her most recent costume creation, the Anne Hathaway version of CATWOMAN that we will all be seeing in the next Batman film, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Her costume looks really great and I must say right here that she completely makes all this stuff herself. So, she's both beautiful AND talented :) 

In fact, Lana said she is now working on next costume which will be based on the Tim Burton BATMAN RETURNS version of this character. You know, the leather cat-suit worn by Michelle Pfeiffer. Wow, we can't wait to see that!

HOT TOYS New BATMAN RETURNS 1992 MOVIE Figures Announced For Late 2012

The Toy Company HOT TOYS announced they will be coming out with a new line of 1/6th and 1/4th scale collectible figures based on the 1992 "Batman Returns" movie which stared Michael Keaton as Batman, Danny DeVito as Penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. The Release Date is not set in stone but expect something towards the end of 2012.

Check out this amazing photo! These are the original glove pieces for Michelle Pfeiffer's CATWOMAN costume from the 1992 BATMAN RETURNS movie, her "Claws". They were created by a Movie Prop Designer named Scott Schneider and I think it's really interesting to see these sort of things. Most of the time they are very well designed. Right now there's a big buzz on eBay. No, Warner Bros has not posted Christian Bale's original bat-suit from The Dark Knight movie. No, George Barris isn't selling off all of his original 1966 Batmobile Cars. No, the big news is that there is an artist in France who made this BATMAN RETURNS MOVIE-INSPIRED DIORAMA MODEL SCULPTURE! It's crazy, I have got a ton of emails about this thing about this with a lot of people asking, "Have you seen this? It's amazing!". An Artist named "ivy-topp" has created a scene right out of the 1992 Tim Burton BATMAN RETURNS movie. It's the moment when Catwoman ( Michelle Pfeiffer ) & The Penguin ( Danny Devito ) are in bed talking in her hotel room. The resemblance is uncanny! The details are totally crazy! The Artist made the figures, the bed, the lamps, the wall / floor, window blinds, etc...even a birdcage with a small bird! This thing is extremely cool! 1992 BATMAN RETURNS Movie CATWOMAN Model Kit Painted By William!

I like when people share their creative Batman-related artwork here. I just got some photos of a CATWOMAN Model Kit built by a reader named William. It's the "Michelle Pfeiffer" version from the 1992 Batman Returns movie. The great thing about it is the face, very well done. With these model kits of "real people" you just gotta nail the whole "facial painting" thing! The other interesting item too is the base. Now that's not sold with the kit, it's completely custom. It looks like William found a glass circle & then frosted it with the image from the movie. Remember the scene where she's in the Shreck's Store? She's standing behind an office window that has this same image frosted on it & then she shatters it...very cool! Excellent job on this William & thanks for sharing the pics, well done, Sir!

Wacky BATMAN, CATWOMAN, & JOKER PRODUCTS on Etsy Website

There's a website called ETSY where artists & crafts people display their wares. Everything there is homemade & it's a great place to find very unique gifts. They have clothing, T-Shirts, Purses, Handbags, Jewelry, etc...tons of clever stuff. While visiting the site the other day I saw a few Batman-inspired pieces. Some of them were quite good. A nice example is the JOKER RAG DOLL made to look like the Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight Batman movie...very cool! There was a giant-sized BATMAN PINATA HEAD that is both humorous & functional, a great birthday party decoration idea. The last photo shows a Custom Munny Figure made to look like Catwoman, the leatherclad Michelle Pfeiffer version...PURRRFECT! BATMAN RETURNS MOVIE McDonald's Banners

For the 2nd Batman Movie, BATMAN RETURNS, McDonalds had a special Happy Meal. The toys were pretty cool. There was a Batmobile, Batman in Jet-Car, The Penguin in Penguin Boat, & Catwoman in her Catmobile. I know everyone has seen those but this is something I didn't know. Some very lucky McDonalds had GIANT-SIZE Vinyl Advertising Banners with Catwoman ( Michelle Pfeiffer ), Batman ( Michael Keaton ), & The Penguin ( Danny DeVito ).
