Anthony's THE JOKER COSPLAY Costume Photos
The other night we were pretty happy to get an email from our friend Anthony who said he has plans to go as THE JOKER at the next 2012 San Diego Comic Con ( this month, in July ). In the mean time he wanted to share a few pics that feature some details of his costume. The entire thing is totally amazing & even the hair/make-up is great too. This style & variation is one of my favorite "Jokers". The Joker-Head Walking Cane is also a nice touch. ( Thanks Anthony, Good Job! )

BATTY HALLOWEEN - The JOKER Has Gone Wild!!

I woke-up this morning to find a ton of great Halloween Costume Photos sent in by BAT-BLOG Fans who are going totally crazy this Halloween! Crazy, like the Joker! Yes, a few pics were all Joker-related so I thought I'd do one post to cover them all. Now, to be fair, I'm posting them in the order that I got them. But they're all completely GREAT in their own way. Check 'em out!
The 1st pic is our friend Paul who did a great job with the Joker make-up. I also like his pose, he looks like he is a little bit insane, ha ha ha!
Next up is a nice Family Portrait with Batman, Joker, & Robin! Our friend Lauren is the Joker & his Buddy Kman is Robin, the Boy Wonder! Great pic guys & you all look AWESOME!
Now, last but not least, is our friend Maggie. She said she found this Purple Jacket in a Thrift Store, it's perfect! What a good find! Plus, the rest of her costume & make-up is great too. Well, it looks like certain cities are gonna have to deal with the Joker this Halloween. I wanna thank everybody who shared their special photos. Posting these pics has been a lot of fun! HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY!!

Franziska's JOKER Make-Up - Heath Ledger Version

Here are some recent photos of a very serious JOKER FAN named Franziska. She lives in Germany & when I asked her if she wore this for Halloween, She said, "No, I wore this the other day!" Ha! That's cool! Here she is with awesome JOKER Make-Up just like Heath Ledger wore in "The Dark Knight" Batman movie & it looks great! She's got the green hair, dark eyes, & even the scars on the mouth... good job! I wanna thank Franziska for sharing these wonderful pics.

Arturo's Wonderful JOKER Costume & Make-Up Photos

One of the greatest things I love about doing the Bat-Blog is getting to meet Batman Fans from all over the world. Here are some photos sent-in by a friend named Arturo. He lives in Mexico & wanted us to see his JOKER costume he made for a party. It looks like everybody had a fun time! The costume is very well done & the funny thing is that he had a mustache ( which he didn't shave off ) & he covered it with white make-up in honor of Cesar Romero, the Actor who played the Joker in TV's 1966 BATMAN! Now, how cool is that?! Whoops, I guess I should explain that, back in the 1960's, Romero refused to shave his trademark mustache & left it on to become the Joker. They just covered it with white make-up & it's always been sort of an unusual piece of Bat-History. Thank you for sending the wonderful photos Arturo!

Wacky Cosplay Fun Time at 2010 Comic Con International

Check out these extremely cool pics from our friends Josh & Jenn. This year they went to the Comic Con International in San Diego & they totally dressed-up for the occasion! Josh was Two-Face, Jenn was Poison Ivy, & their friends ( sorry, I don't know their names ) were Catwoman, Black Canary, & Batgirl ( or is she suppose to be Batwoman? ). Judging by the photos, it looks like they all had a total blast! These pics sort of crack me up because I know these people in real-life & it's a big surprise that they would go to this event, ha! But regardless, they all look really great in all their costumes. ( Thanks to Josh for sending the evidence ).

TWO-FACE BATMAN VILLAIN MAKE-UP and COSTUME - Desktop Wallpaper Backgrounds

Here are 2 brand-new Desktop Wallpapers I made the other day from a photo sent in by our friend Josh. He recently went to the San Diego Comic Con dressed up as the Batman Villain, TWO-FACE!! If you were there & saw him then you know how incredible both the make-up & costume were, they're crazy!! Josh just went all out on his costuming this year & even created an amazing 2-colored business suit. Now, this is an artistic black & white photo but I also have some more casual color photos from the event that I will be sharing in the next day or two. So, what do you think of this image as a wallpaper background? It's pretty cool, huh? ( Thanks to Josh for sending the great pics )

Awesome TWO-FACE and JOKER Vintage Family Photo

Check out this totally cool vintage family photo showing our friend Joel as TWO-FACE, the Batman Villain! Plus, there's another awesome kid as the Joker! The make-up for both kids are very well done, great job there! This photo was taken around 1996, when he was just 5 years old. It must have been the best Halloween ever! Thanks Joel for sending the pic, it's great. If any other Bat-Blog Fans have some pics like this then please send them in... today!

Video - BATMAN CITY OF SCARS - FIRST LOOK Fan-Film Movie Preview
Here's a first look at a soon to be released Batman fan-film titled CITY OF SCARS. It's being made by Bat In The Sun Productions & the production quality looks pretty excellent. We don't get to see much acting in this video ( they're mostly production stills or photos ) but the costumes, make-up, & set design look really great. It will premier on the popular video website DailyMotion.com around June 2010 so look for it then. I'm sure it will be hyped pretty big once it's released. Plus, stay tuned to the Bat-Blog because we'll probably announce it right here.

Fans Go Bat-Crazy Over Tim Burton's 1989 Batman Movie!

Ya' know, a lot of younger Batman Fans today totally forget ( or don't even know about ) how people back in 1989 went totally bat-crazy over Tim Burton's 1st Batman movie! I mean, it was almost equal to the craziness stirred-up by the 1977 Star Wars movie. People dressed-up like the characters, there were lines of people that went around the block, people camped-out for tickets for days, some theaters even dropped another movie so they could show "Batman" on more than one screen...it was crazy! Well, here's a funny vintage newspaper story I found on a website called "Fantastic Flashbacks". It shows a few Batman Movie Fans wearing THE JOKER make-up & costumes ( Jack Nicholson version ) at an opening in California. Now I plan to feature some more of this kind of news coverage from the past so if any readers have something similar then please let me know. In the mean time, if you're interested in visiting the "Fantastic Flashbacks" blog then do so by clicking HERE!

Gerry's JOKER Costume ( The Dark Knight Movie - Heath Ledger Version )

Since Halloween is over, & many people didn't get dressed-up until then, we have been getting a few photos from Bat-Blog Fans who wore costumes of their favorite Batman characters. That's awesome! Like, just the other night we got these cool pics from our friend Gerry who became The JOKER this year. He chose the "Heath Ledger" version from The Dark Knight movie. Both the costume & make-up are extremely well done but the neat thing was he went to a party that had a Professional Photographer. I like how you guys sort of replicated some famous movie images. Like, when Heath ( as the Joker ) removed his Bank Robber Mask, that's pretty neat. The image with the Joker Playing Card is also a nice tribute. Thanks to Gerry for sending these in. I know a lot of people are gonna really like them.

Batman & Joker Halloween Costume Ideas

Lately I have been sort of obsessed with "Vintage Halloween Photos" featuring kids or adults dressed-up as their favorite Batman characters. I don't know, since the holiday is coming up I thought it would be an interesting idea. Anyway, I have been asking readers to send in their photos & the response has been wonderful! I have a lot of them so far but want even more so if you have some cool pics like this then please send them in. Now, to talk about these 2 photos. The 1st one is a friend named John. I met him at MySpace & he's a pretty cool guy. Last year he dressed-up as the Joker ( The Dark Knight movie version ) for Halloween with this awesome costume he made hunting through Thrift Stores. His Joker make-up & green hair look great too. The next photo, with Batman, is our friend Christopher. I kinda-sorta know him over at Facebook. He was kind enough to send this very cool photo of him dressed in his "1989 Batman Movie" costume. He says he wears it sometimes to charity events to help raise money for certain causes. Wow, that's really really awesome! I love when people do that. When people think about others in need instead of their own BS then it's a big step towards making the world a better place. Thanks to both John & Chris for sharing these 2 "Joker & Batman" Halloween Costume photos...you both ROCK!

Wacky Crazy BATMAN AND ROBIN Face Paint Make-Up Creation!

My friend Dave sent me this photo the other day saying he thought of me when he saw it. Thanks Dave, ummmm maybe? Ha Ha! This photo is hilarious! This guy had some face paint make-up done, maybe at some art event ( or maybe for a party? ) where he is BOTH Batman & Robin...at the same time! It's a very cool concept but also sort of creepy. What do you think? Please leave a comment down below.
