They just announced a special 2012 TOY FAIR EXCLUSIVE Collectible Figure of "Lt. JIM GORDON"  ( S.W.A.T. Team Suit Version ) From THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie!!! 



The details, as usual, are totally spot-on and whoever sculpted the face for this made it look EXACTLY like the Actor, Gary Oldman. It also has a very detailed costume, weapons and accessories. We should have more information about this later so please stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG.COM. In the mean time, just start drooling!

It's a parody of the opening credits sequence from the 1966 BATMAN TV Show, except all the characters have been replaced with Actors from THE DARK KNIGHT movie: Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Heath Ledger, Michael Caine, Aaron Eckhart, etc... it even has the Tumbler-Style Batmobile at the end, replacing the 1966 Car!

For Your Consideration...

Well, it appears that Warner Bros is totally sucking up to all the people who can vote for Oscars. In many of the Hollywood Trade Magazines ( Variety, Hollywood Reporter, etc..) they have placed full-page ads to remind the voters that THE DARK KNIGHT Batman movie deserves a lot of Oscars. Shown here are just a few but there are a lot more! The 1st nomination that I think needs to be honored is for Heath Ledger as The Joker. He truly did an amazing job & I'm not just saying that to be nice because he passed away. He really deserves it & he will be missed. It's kind of sad to think about all the future performances we will be missing out on. He's seriously a great talent. Of course there are many other Best Supporting Actors who should be included too. The list would be Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, & Morgan Freeman. The whole cast did an incredible job! The Dark Knight easily deserves Best Movie of The Year while Christopher Noland should get Best Director. Also, let's not forget Best Supporting Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, she's wonderful. I also think we should even mention Christian Bale for his contribution. The movie deserves a lot of "technical awards" for stuff like Art Direction, Film Editing, Best Make Up, Best Costume Design, etc...we'll have to wait & see. Because of The Dark Knight Batman movie this year's Oscars Award Show should be pretty fun to watch, & kind of nerve-racking too, ha ha!

I saw THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie & it's AMAZING!

Late last night, at midnight, I went to my local theater & viewed the new Dark Knight Batman movie!! OH MY GOD!!! I'm not kidding when I say this movie is a True Art Masterpiece! It was amazing. Every actor's performance was brilliant, especially Heath Ledger as The Joker. Heath Ledger took the Joker character to a whole new level & he simply deserves an Oscar for his performance. But, to be honest, so does every other actor on this film: Christian Bale ( Batman & Bruce Wayne ), Gary Oldman ( Lieutenant Jim Gordon ), Aaron Eckhart ( District Attorney Harvey Dent & Two-Face Villain ), Michael Caine ( Butler Alfred Pennyworth ), Morgan Freeman ( Lucius Fox ), & Maggie Gyllenhaal ( Rachel Dawes ), among others. It's also important to note that Christopher Nolan deserves a "Best Director" Oscar & The Dark Knight should get "Best Movie of The Year"! I know I sound kinda crazy but I'm totally serious when I say that if you're a true Batman Fan you will totally LOVE this movie...go see it tonight, twice!

More actors from THE DARK KNIGHT Batman movie will be making the rounds of some of the TV talk shows. On Monday, July 14th, Christian Bale ( Batman and Bruce Wayne ) will appear, very early in the morning, on The Today Show. Then Gary Oldman ( Lt. James "Jim" Gordon ) will have an interview on 2 different TV shows: The View, in the afternoon, & then The Late Show with Conan O'Brian. Please check your local listings for the time.
