A Very Cool Custom Batman Movie-Inspired Electric Guitar

Here are some really nice photos of a wonderful custom paint job for an electric guitar. It now has a "Batman Theme" that seems to have been inspired by the new THE DARK KNIGHT movie. It was made during the summer by a friend named Vince. I think it's pretty cool! On the front he painted a sunburst pattern with a Bat-Symbol Logo near the bottom. There is also a batsymbol on the back too. One thing to notice also is the very end of the neck was carved into a bat shape, a nice detail there! Overall it came out really great & is now a beautiful piece of art. The cool thing...it can play some serious music too! Thank you Vince for sharing these pics with us. You did an awesome job on this & you should be very proud. You ROCK, Sir!

Vintage BATMAN ELECTRIC GUITAR Design Inspired by George Barris' 1966 Batmobile!

A Bat-Blog Reader recently sent in this set of amazing photos showing a Batman-Themed Custom Electric Guitar he saw on eBay. It's actually quite impressive. The general theme of the design is an Homage to the George Barris 1966 Batmobile Car, the one from the vintage 1960's Batman TV Show. Of course it's the classic "black with red pinstripe" design with the "Batsignal" door emblem included. I also like the small bat-logos on the knobs, a nice touch. I really love this thing, whoever customized it did a really great job. Thanks John for sharing these photos! I wanna invite all Bat-Blog Readers who have cool stuff to share to please send it in.

A few days ago, at the Bat-Blog, we featured a story about the new 1966 BATMOBILE-INSPIRED Electric Guitar that was personally designed for Hallmark Guitars by George Barris ( Check The Bat-Blog Archives, Lower Left-Side ).It was a popular post because this Custom Electric Guitar is totally INSANE! Well, we got a new photo from a friend named John who not only got to handle this baby but was also, at the time, dressed in full Batman "Adam West-Style" Costume AND standing next to a 1966 Batmobile Replica Car...Oh my God, how cool is that?! I wanna thank John for allowing us to publish this photo, that must have been a lot of fun! ROCK ON!!

George Barris, famous custom car designer known for The 1966 Batman TV Show Batmobile (& many others), has teamed up with HALLMARK GUITARS to create this "Batmobile-Inspired" Electric Guitar! As soon as I saw the photos I knew it had to be posted here, it's crazy cool! It features the classic red lines of the original car & even has the "George Barris Crest" logo.
