New BATMAN 1966 TV BATMOBILE 1:32 ELECTRIC SLOT CAR KIT From Polar Lights

Yes, you read that right, a "kit", since you put the Toy Slot Car together yourself. It's scale is 1:32 so it's a nice size. Below is a photo of the packaging & the box graphics are excellent! BATMAN ROBIN and BATGIRL Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday, on Thursday!

I know yesterday was Wednesday and some Bat-Blog Fans look forward to their weekly fix of BATMAN Wallpaper Backgrounds that we post, but we announced the death of the Golden Age Comic Book Artist Lew Sayre Schwartz and it just didn't seem respectful to post anything else. So, here they are now. The 1st one was made using graphics of the box lid for the New 1966 BAT-BOAT Model Kit made by Polar Lights. I like this groovy image, ha! The next one uses a nice picture of Batgirl on her Bat-Cycle that was originally a Warner Bros Store Framed Lithograph. I remember this picture fondly. We used to have a WB Store here where I lived and I really really wanted this piece. They also made a few other in this series & they were all great. I totally loved that store because they had such awesome stuff! Sadly, they closed and I never got the chance to buy any of these prints.

BATMAN COMIC BOOK GRAPHICS Wallpaper Backgrounds

Today I am feeling totally exhausted, I got NO sleep last night, so this is going to be a very lazy posting, ha ha! I decided to post a few BATMAN WALLPAPERS you can use to brighten your desktop's background. But before you hate me, they're pretty cool and I think/hope you'll like them! The 1st one uses some graphics you can see on the new 1966 Bat-Boat Model kit by Polar Lights. It's sort of retro-looking, so that's neat. The next one is kinda weird. It's a wood grain background with some hi-res scan of some 1960's comic book art drawn by Carmine Infantino, a Bat-Fan favorite!

The NEW Polar Lights 1966 BATMOBILE CAR MODEL KIT from the '60's Batman TV Show

Here's a wonderful new Batman Product that will be extremely popular with Bat-Collectors later this year. In fact, the release date is for the very end of this year. But the good news is that POLAR LIGHTS will be re-releasing the 1966 Batmobile TV Show Car Model Kit!! This is the famous custom car designed by George Barris. It's gonna be sold 2 ways with 2 different types of packaging. One will be in the normal cardboard box with some awesome "Vintage Style" graphics. I mean, it really looks retro & has that awesome "1960's model kit look". The next way they'll be selling it is in an EMBOSSED TIN BOX which has a beautiful image of the 1966 Batmobile. This "Special Collector's Tin Box Edition" will also have a bonus art print. The Tin Box will be wrapped with a "belly band" that, when removed, will showcase the entire '66 Batmobile Art on the front of the box. Both kits measure about 7" long.
