COMIC CARDS PROJECT - Silver Age DC Comics Superheroes!

Here's a quick post to share some cool artwork! A Friend of ours has recently started a new Art Project where they're posting "Silver-Age DC Comics Superhero" Comic Cards done in a cute cartoon retro-style. The choice of obscure random characters is pretty awesome and eventually there will an entire complete set of Playing Cards. Joe's BATMAN AND JOKER TATTOO ART Photos

A Bat-Blog Fan named Joe was kind enough the other day to send some wonderful photos of his recent BATMAN and JOKER Tattoos & they're AWESOME! Just check out the pics. The 1st image is his Joker and Batman Tattoo that looks like a Playing Card. The coloring looks great & the image is sharp, nice! The 2nd one is on his back. It's the Classic Bat-Symbol Logo... lookin' good! Thanks Joe for sharing these pictures, I appreciate that. I want to invite any other people who have had some bat-ink done to please do the same.

Brandon's Awesome BATMAN AND JOKER Tattoo Art Photo!!

OK, even if you're not a Big Fan of "Tattoos", then you still have to admit that this BATMAN AND JOKER PLAYING CARD Tattoo Art is completely amazing! Our friend Brandon just recently got this ink done and the image is beautiful! I posted the same photo twice, then flipped one over, so you can see it from different angles. The colors are vibrant, the black lines are sharp... this Tattoo Artist did a really great job. I really love this artwork. I wanna thank Brandon for sharing his fun photo. If any other Bat-Blog Fans out there get any Bat-Tats done then please shoot us a picture!

Vintage Batman Collectibles - Playing Cards from Argentina

I have a friend named Doug who sent us these 2 amazing pics of some Vintage BATMAN Playing Cards that have totally wonderful graphics. In fact I think most of the comic book-style artwork was done by Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, a Bat-Fan Favorite ( Be sure to click on the 2nd pic to enjoy the art ). They were made in 1991 by a company called CROMY & they were made for countries like Argentina. So, they're kinda hard to find here in the USA. Thanks Doug, these are great!

BATMAN Promotional Food Products...From Egypt!!

OK, I gotta say upfront that this is a post I am very proud of. You see, I just recently got an e-mail from a Batman Fan who lives in Egypt! Yes, EGYPT...How cool is that?! Her name is Myret & she says she has loved the Dark Knight since she was around 9 years old. She is now 23. She was also kind enough to send some great photos of a few pieces of Batman-related merchandise she has found in her country. The 1st two photos relate to a Batman Food Product called "Halwani FUN Sausages". They are a Meat Snack & the box says, "They're Ready To Eat!" She said that as a free premium inside you get the Set of Batman Playing Cards that are shown in the 2nd picture. WOW, a whole deck! The last photo shows 2 Bags of Potato Chips that she said are a lot like ( American ) Cheetos. Now, their special premium prize were some Batman & Robin ( comic book version ) Puzzle Playing Pieces. I guess if you collect them all they make a neat image...WOW! Thank you so very much Myret for taking the time to shoot these nice pics. I really appreciate you sending them. These unusual pieces of Bat-Memorabilia are really GREAT!!

THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie Theme DESKTOP WALLPAPERS

Since this is opening weekend for The Dark Knight Batman Movie I though I would post a few TDK-Themed Desktop Wallpapers. These backgrounds should work great in a MySpace layout or just to decorate your PC desktop. The 1st one shows the Dark Knight standing all majestic in front of Gotham City. The other 2 are of the recent movie poster with Joker Playing cards & Batman's face, all jokerized! One has the design all off to the right so it won't be obscured by your desktop icons. Personally, I just got my movie tickets tonight & I'm totally excited about seeing this film on Thursday, at Midnight! It feels like I have been waiting forever & now it's almost here...yyyyeah!!

Free JOKER PLAYING CARD & 50's BAT-MITE Desktop Wallpapers: Made By Logan!

Every Wednesday here at the Bat-Blog it's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" & for the last few years I have been creating them all by myself. Well, a new dynamic, that I really love, is that for a few months now a lot of Bat-Blog Readers are contributing them. Here's an example: Our friend "Logan" has created BOTH of these wonderful wallpapers for you to use to decorate your computer's desktop or as a background in a MySpace Layout. The 1st one is a variation on the famous "Joker Playing Card". It's got the phrase, "Here's My Card", which we all know now as a famous line spoken by Heath Ledger's Joker in the new Dark Knight movie trailer. The 2nd one kinda through me off guard a little bit ( Meaning, I was totally surprised )...it's BAT-MITE! As a true Batman Fan I really love this wacky character. I know he's kinda silly but he's from the crazy 1950's era & has a lot of nostalgic appeal. Plus, the graphic is pretty cool! TATTOO ART PHOTO : Batman and Joker Playing Card from The Original KILLING JOKE Graphic Novel

Tonight I received this very cool Batman/Joker Tattoo photo from a loyal Bat-Blog Reader named Neil who wrote, "Here's a picture of my tattoo, to blog with as you please! It was done by Matt Lloyd, tattooing out of Red Hot and Blue Tattoo in Edinburgh, Scotland (but now he's tattooing at Illicit Tattoo in New Zealand). It's the image taken from the back cover of the original The Killing Joke graphic novel." Neil, your Batman & Joker Playing Card tattoo looks great, really great! The graphics are sharp & the coloring is bright, looks awesome! Matt did an incredible job on it, please let him know that. Thank you very much for sending this photo, I appreciate it!
