I was born in 1964 so most of the toys I played with was the cool stuff from the 1970's: G.I.Joe Adventure Team Dolls, Star Wars Action Figures, Evel Knievel Motorcycle Play Sets, & of course, MEGO! Mego Superhero Dolls were really amazing because they made a ton of different superhero characters & made a lot of vehicles & playsets. Shown up above are just a few of the vehicles. The 1st one is The JOKER MOBILE. It was a VW Hippy Van that really seemed appropriate for the Joker, ha ha! It was lime green ( his signature color ) & has "HA HA" stickers all over it. It even had a trap door on the back that shot out a huge boxing glove. At the same time Mego also made a MOBILE BAT-LAB for Batman & Robin. I always thought this was kinda weird because they already had a Batmobile Car made for them. I guess they thought since they already had the mold made they would try to get 2 vehicles out of it. Both of these vehicles today are highly sought after by vintage toy collectors & are quite rare, especially in the original boxes. If you wanna learn more about Mego Dolls & Action Figures then I suggest getting the new MEGO COLLECTOR'S BOOK hat just came out. It's a very high quality book with incredible photos.
