MEET BATMAN AND ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER, LIVE IN PERSON! The Actors from the Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Show, Adam West and Burt Ward, will be at this years Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con 2011. The event starts tomorrow, Friday, June 17th & runs the whole weekend. So, if you live near that area then you need to drop by & say, "Howdy!". The convention will also have a ton of Comic Book Artists, who over the years, have worked on a BATMAN title. Our friend Stephen just got back from Wizard World Chicago 2010 & sent us these totally wonderful pics. Guess who he got to meet? He met Adam West ( 1966 Batman ), Burt Ward ( Robin, The Boy Wonder ), and Julie Newmar ( Catwoman )...all on the same day!! Oh man, I'm jealous...JEALOUS!! But I'm happy for him, it must have been totally super-cool to visit with the actors from the '66 BATMAN TV Show. Plus, the photos came out really good. Thanks for sending them Stephen. Yeah, I'm still jealous.
The Wizard World Comic Convention is coming to Philly from June 11th to the 13th, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The reason I mention it is because Adam West ( Bruce Wayne / Batman ) & Julie Newmar ( Catwoman ), the actors who played those characters in the 1966 BATMAN TV Show, will be there! Plus, hundreds of comic book artists, writers, pencillers, inkers, creators and directors are also set to attend. Some of them have even worked in Batman comics: Ethan Van Sciver, Mark McKenna, Jim Calafiore, & Arthur Suydam ( all pictured down below ), just to name a few.
