Yes, you read that right, DIAL B FOR BLOG is Back! Now a lot of people are gonna be real excited about this news. Back in the day, DIAL B FOR BLOG was a really fun website. It covered silver age comic book history like no other. It had style, substance, & was very well designed. But then one day the owner/creator decided to quit. It was discovered that he had a set goal to reach a certain number of posts & then quit. So, after hitting that number, he did. The site was left up for people to enjoy but it was never updated for a really long time. Well I got an email from him & he said he's bringing it back. No way! I didn't believe him. DIAL B FOR BLOG Presents 16 DAYS OF THE DARK KNIGHT!

Starting Friday, July 18th, the popular website called DIAL B FOR BLOG will have a special event titled "16 Days of The Dark Knight". The event itself is a 16-day long presentation of magazine articles -- many from 16 magazine -- about the 1966 Batman TV show! But what makes the event really special are the amazing FAKE COVERS and the 50 BAT-FUN FACTS that will leave every Bat-fan alive breathless! Then there's the fake ads, the audio clips, and the rare photos... too much to list here!

DIAL B FOR BLOG To Feature 16 DAYS OF THE DARK KNIGHT Parody Humor!

Starting this next Friday, July 18th to be exact, the famous comic book history website DIAL B FOR BLOG will have "16 Days of the Dark Knight"! I've seen some of the stuff he'll be presenting & it's awesome! I'm sure all Bat-Fans will love it. Basically there's a lot of parody humor about "what if" the characters from the 1966 Batman TV Show were in The Dark Knight movie instead of the current actors. Plus there will be some other fun facts about the movie. The graphics I have seen are amazing & also pretty funny. Here's an example: The top picture is a parody of the famous Dark Knight movie poster with the Joker presenting his playing card but Heath Ledger has been replaced with Cesar Romero ( be sure to click on it for a larger version ). The next graphic is the popular "International Banner" with The Joker switched around...So, be sure to check that out next week!

Our friend "Robby", who writes a really great comic book blog called DIAL B FOR BLOG, posted this super-hilarious photo the other day & It's so freakin' awesome that I had to "totally steal it", ha ha ha! ( Click on the above graphic for a larger photo ). It's a parody of the new Dark Knight "Joker - Why So Serious" Movie Poster but he replaced Heath Ledger's character with The Joker from the 1966 Batman TV Show, Cesar Romero. SILVER-AGE COMIC BOOK FAN? Check Out DIAL B FOR BLOG Sometime!

Just the other day I noticed a new link to my site from a page called DIAL B FOR BLOG. Now, this was very exciting news for me. Ya see, every webpage I have ever created has had a link to this page because it's really a great site. It's well designed, very informative, has great graphics, & the humor is pretty good. Basically it's all about the history of silver-age comic books & there's a ton of stories about comic book artists, creators, & all the characters we love. The main focus is DC Comics but I think there's some Marvel stuff there too. Now, the reason I was excited about the link back to me was that I didn't even ask for a link! This is a webpage that I have really respected for a long time & it even sort of inspired me to creat this Bat-Blog....and they linked to me!!
