RARE VINTAGE BATMAN TOYS EXHIBIT at The MINT TOY MUSEUM in Singapore

BAM! POW!! Right now, in Singapore, The MINT Toy Museum is having a major exhibition of super-rare Vintage BATMAN Toys! We just got some photos from our friend Bat-Cat ( That's him in the 2nd photo under the "Batman Robot" Banner Sign! ) and they are going to make you cry, ha!

The MINT Toy Museum is located on Seah Street in a 5-story building & it's collection includes over 50,000 rare and vintage toys ranging from Popeye to Mickey Mouse & everything in between. Included in the Batman Collection are some rare Tin Toy Batmobiles, Japanese Robots, Dolls, Gumball Rings, Puppets, Soakys, Board Games, Model Kits, Plush Toys, etc... WOW!

FAZE THE PUPPET as ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER!

I have a friend named Faisal who likes to create puppets. He has a main character named FAZE that he likes to use for video interviews. Most of the time FAZE wears a business suit. But, for Comic Book Conventions & such he wears a special costume...as Robin, The Boy Wonder! This Robin-Suit totally cracks me up every single time I see it, ha ha! Plus, it looks like it is extremely well made. Good job Faisal & thank you for letting me post this cool pic. I love when Bat-Fans get creative so if any other readers out there have any art or craft projects, revolving around the Batman Dark Knight myth, then please send us some photos today!

Vintage BATMAN TOYS and COLLECTIBLES Reference Material

As a very serious toy collector I can't express the value of good reference material. What I mean by that is good information on the items you collect. Some main sources are websites ( hopefully this one, ha ha ), ads out of vintage magazines, price guide collectibles reference books, & old store catalogs. Look through a 1966 "Christmas Wish List" Sears Catalog & you'll see what I mean, they are like "p0rn for toy collectors". In some cases they can show you what the original box looked like or what it looked like when complete. I've even seen items in those books that I have never ever seen in real-life & I've been a pretty serious vintage toy dealer for 20+ years. The price guide reference books used to have four full-bookshelf sections at your local bookstore but are now regulated to one shelf, if you're lucky. You can thank eBay for killing off that industry. But, they are still great for reference & real collectors still publish/buy them, thank God. Here's a few examples of some great reference photos. Regular readers to this blog know we publish stuff like this all the time. It's practically the whole reason for this site. I think sharing information about your hobby is like a gift that inspires people to be more dedicated & focused to their "hunt", that's cool. If anyone has some pics to share then please send them in. We're always trying to make the site better & always looking for more bat-memorabilia!

Vintage 60's Batman Toys and Collectibles...Oh Yeah!

We get e-mails almost every time we post some Vintage Batman Memorabilia. People really enjoy seeing items they had as a kid & almost always tell us about that. I guess there's a lot of nostalgia there & that's great! So, check these out. The 1st photo is probably one of the rarest of all 1960's Bat-Items! It's the 1966 BATMAN CAVE TUNNEL. This looks like hours if fun, doesn't it? It's a cloth-covered wire spring about 10 Ft long & 2 Ft wide. It was made for kid's to crawl thru...very exciting, looks like a fire hazard to me! Actually I love the vintage graphics that are all over this thing & it's almost impossible to find. The next item is a precious find from the UK. A Set of Vintage 60's Batman & Robin Marionette Puppets. They're kind of weird looking but I think that's what gives them a lot of charm. They're almost like beautiful works of ART if you think about it! The next photo is really great! We saved the best for last. This is a Large HUGE Plastic Injection-Molded 1966 Batmobile with some really cool Batman & Robin figures inside. This piece is really HUGE & great for display! I can't tell you how RARE this thing is & when I received this photo attached to an e-mail the other day I almost cried. Thanx Neal for the great pics & the torture too, ha ha! RARE Vintage 1966 BATMAN & ROBIN Hand Puppets IDEAL TOYS

I should NOT EVEN have to write anything for this post, the photos up above says it all! Here's an extremely RARE SET of 1966 BATMAN & ROBIN HAND PUPPETS Mint in the Original Box! These were made by Ideal during the 1960's TV Series craze & you never see this style display box for these. They were also sold in bags with headers cards but I love the vintage graphics on the box...another Holy Grail item for Vintage Batman Collectors to dream about!!
