OK, Many BAT-BLOG Fans might remember the BATMAN: MURDER AT WAYNE MANOR Interactive Book that came out a few years ago ( 2008 ), it was really cool! Well, some friends up in New Jersey told us their friend recently found it in the Bargain Bin at Barnes and Noble for $6.95! Yes, Around Seven Bucks! The original Retail Price was about $25 so this is a great deal. On a side-note: I just checked Amazon and it's on sale there for $10 but they also have used copies from Book Dealers for around 3 dollars. But hey, you gotta pay postage on that so it looks like the B&N thing is still the better deal! Plus, you get it right away, ha! Thanks to BatDave & BatChick for sharing this fun info. By the way, that's "BatChick" in the photo up above, hiding behind the book!
YES! FINALLY! We finally get some decent press coverage from the BATMAN LIVE World Tour Show that will start in the UK & then arrive later in the US. Oh yeah, Featured in these 4 Video Clips: We get to see the Set Design, an Animation Sample for the Stage Video Screen, a CG representation of Harley Quinn's Carnival & also Wayne Manor ( with a very small teaser of the Bat-Cave ), and then the very last video shows all the Actors & their Costumes! Oh man, everything looks really really AWESOME!! I think this show is going to be incredible!
A friend of the Bat-Blog, named Mark, found this incredible website called "Microsoft Virtual Earth" where you can type in an address & get aerial photos of any place on earth! So, what he did was type in the address of the original mansion used in the 1966 Batman TV Show, the Wayne Manor! If you go there it gives you a "Live" 360 degree view of the property...pretty cool! Here's a link to check it out!WAYNE MANOR
Here's a really neat picture if you're a totally super-serious Batman Fan, ha ha! This is a real "Google Earth" photo of the real-life house they used for the scenes in the 1966 Batman TV Show of the stately Wayne Manor. The interior shots were faked on a closed set but the shots they used of the "outside" of the house were this actual home. I got this photo from the 66 BATMAN Message Boards where someone used Google Earth to pinpoint the exact location & took a photo...kinda scary we have this technology huh? I used it once to do my house & the details were insane! It really makes ya think, if we "regular people" have this technology then what does the government have? Hmmm? Excuse me, there's a knock at the door.
