BATMAN & ROBIN SUPPORT THE WAR! 1940's PSA Advertisement

Here's an interesting piece of Bat-History! In the March, 1944 Issue of BOY COMMANDOS ( # 6 ) Batman, Robin, and Alfred join the Paper Drive effort for the war. In this Public Service Announcement Ad ( PSA ) Alfred explains to a small boy how recycling newspaper can help the US Troops during World War II. AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION AD Batman's Commissioner Jim Gordon

I thought this was kind of weird... Here's a Public Service Announcement for the American Heart Association that ran in alot of DC comics in the early 90's showing Jim Gordon when he had a heart attack. He really did have a heart attack in the Batman comic books in 1991 & this sort of tied into it, that's cool. Be sure to click the small picture for a large, more readable, one.
