Warner Bros Announces LEGO BATMAN 2 Video Game - DC Super Heroes!

The Highly-Anticipated Sequel to the Best-Selling LEGO® Videogame of All Time Returns with Help from Super Heroes including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern

Burbank, Calif. – Jan. 5, 2012 – Batman is back to save Gotham City and the action will only build from here! Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group are teaming up once again to announce that LEGO® Batman™ 2: DC Super Heroes will be available beginning Summer 2012 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Wii™ system, and Windows PC, as well as the Nintendo DS™ hand-held system, Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system, and PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system. LEGO Batman™ 2: DC Super Heroes complements the brand new, recently released LEGO® Super Heroes: DC Universe toy collection. The line includes five construction sets, such as The Batcave and three buildable, detailed action figures.

In LEGO Batman™ 2: DC Super Heroes, the Dynamic Duo of Batman and Robin join other famous super heroes from the DC Universe including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to save Gotham City from destruction at the hands of the notorious villains Lex Luthor and the Joker. Batman fans of all ages will enjoy a new and original story filled with classic LEGO videogame action and humor as players fight to put the villains back behind bars.

New Rumor: Here's photo evidence of a new LEGO BATMAN 2 DC SUPER HEROES Video Game that will also feature other characters like: Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. This picture was found by the Lego Toys Fan-Site BRICKTUTS. The game is rumored for a 2012 release, which would coincide with the arrival of the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. As reported earlier here at the Bat-Blog.Com, LEGO TOYS also has plans to release many more brand-new BATMAN and DC Comics Superhero Play Sets due to roll out next year. Stay tuned for more info.

New Batman Toys - DC Universe Classics - The Joker & Harley Quinn MAD LOVE Action Figure 2-Pack

Be sure to keep an eye out later this year for Mattel's new DC Universe Classic Action Figure "MAD LOVE" 2-Pack Set featuring the Joker & Harley Quinn. But remember that you won't find these everywhere because they are a Toys-R-Us Exclusive. Something sort of interesting: The position of the characters inside the packaging is based on Alex Ross' iconic Painting "Tango With Evil" ( see pic below ). The figures look great but I love some of the accessories - Harley's Giant-Gun and Hammer, Joker Playing Cards, Joker's Cane & Mallet, plus... a Joker Fish!

Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 Exclusive Debut Trailer HD

Surprise! The sequel to the best super hero game of all time is on the way. That game of course is BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM!! It looks like, because of the success of the 1st one, they're gonna make a sequel...AWESOME!! The temporary title is "Arkham Asylum 2" but it looks like it will feature Gotham City as the playing ground...can't wait! This Teaser Trailer looks great!
