Here's a photo of our friend Carlos. He got to see the original Batmobile car from the 1989 BATMAN movie at the Six Flags Theme Park in Texas!! OK, I just meant for the title to this post to be a joke. Carlos DID NOT TRY to steal the '89 Batmobile! But you know he wanted too. See how he's all ready to leap under that roped-fence thing? I bet he saw a Security Guard at the last minute & then pretended like, "Oh, I'm just getting my picture taken...I'm not doing anything", ha ha! Thanks Carlos for sending us this wonderful photo & I'm just teasing about you being a thief. I'm just jealous because I have never got to see this beautiful custom movie car in real life, ha!
OK, This has got to be the most beautiful piece of ART that I have seen in a long time. Seriously, it's extremely cool! This photo is from a good friend named Vin who recently went to the Six Flags Theme Park in New England. He said he had no idea this Catwoman Statue was even going to be there! As you can imagine, he was totally shocked, ha!! The thing is HUGE & the detailing, colors, etc are purr-fect! Personally, I think this baby would look awesome in MY front yard!! But, I've tried to steal statues like this & it's very difficult. The Security Guards always see you driving your large crane into the area. Oh well. ( Thanks to Vin for allowing me to share this wonderful pic ).
The Bat-Blog has a friend over at MySpace named LilBat. She's a very cute girl & a huge Batman Fan. She says she used to date Batman but I didn't believe her. At least, not until she showed me this photographic proof! WOW! Here she is with the Dark knight himself....out on the town. You can see he brought the 1989 Batmobile ( that ALWAYS impresses the Ladies ). OK, this was actually shot at a Six Flags Theme Park Event, but she can dream can't she! Thanks for letting me use the cool bat-photo LilBat...it's AWESOME!
A new Bat-Blog Reader, named John, sent this very fun photo of a brand-new Batman Plush Doll Toy he recently won at Six Flags. Oh my god, this thing is HUGE!! I also like the fact that it's the "modern comic book" version. I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for this puppy at the garage sales, it's very cool. Thanks for sharing your photo John, I appreciate that!
