Comic Book News: BATMAN AND ROBIN # 1 Cover Variations

Just a quick post, DC Comics just recently released BATMAN AND ROBIN Number One the other day & so far it seems like a total success. Now, I have not read it yet but all I have been hearing is really great things so that's cool. One thing I wanted to mention is that this comic book has three different covers to collect. The 1st one photo shows the regular cover. The 2nd one is the variant cover. The 3rd is the special "Sketch Cover". Personally, I have always hated when comic book companies do this. I mean, they're just trying to get everybody to buy multiple copies. But I gotta admit that these are pretty cool! Just wondering, has anybody read this thing yet? BATMAN and ROBIN + The BAT-HOUND : Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

It's Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday again! This time I'm posting a cool Batman-related Wallpaper that was designed by our good friend Sean Hartter. He created this background featuring Batman's Best Friend, ACE - The Bat-Hound! I just got this as an e-mail tonight & was really surprised at the choice of this character. Plus, I thought that was extremely cool because it's so "left-field" & "outta nowhere". Thanks Sean, some more really awesome artwork, as usual! The 2nd Wallpaper is stolen from the Official DC Comics website & I thought I would post it because this brand-new Batman and Robin # 1 Comic Book comes out today. With artwork by Frank Quitely & written by Grant Morrison it promises to be pretty good. I know a lot of Bat-Fans are totally excited about it. So, be sure to hit your friendly neighborhood comic book shop today for this issue & later, let us know what YOU think about it.

BATMAN AND ROBIN - A New Comic Book Title From DC Comics

Starting in June DC Comics will release a brand-new comic book titled BATMAN AND ROBIN. The series will start out being written by Grant Morrison & drawn by Frank Quitely. So, as sort of a celebration of this, I made these 2 new Desktop Wallpapers. The 1st one using the original artwork for the cover to issue # 1 & the 2nd graphic is what you'll see on the inside. The artwork is pretty amazing! I like the strange look of the highly-detailed thin line artwork, very nice! As more information becomes available we'll let you know the exact release date so stay tuned to the Bat-Blog! ( Thank you Brian for sending the pics ).
