Stargate: Universe (2008) is gone, but the concept art still lives thanks to the video compilation below.
For those not familiar, here's a synopsis:
Production Designer James Robbins gives a walk-through of the Destiny ship set design in a behind-the-scene video.
It's cool to watch, and kind of sad to realize how much work went into what was thought to continue the longest running science-fiction show on American television.
That's the world of television I guess.
For those not familiar, here's a synopsis:
"Stargate Universe" centers on a simple reconnaissance mission that turns into a never-ending quest as a new crew of Stargate explorers gates onto the Destiny, an Ancient ship that is unable to return to Earth. They will travel to the far reaches of the universe, encountering new races, enemies and adventures. The artwork is old, from 2008, but still holds up. For the life of me I can't find out who created them, but the storyboard artist was Wendy McAllister.
