HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! These extremely fun photos are from our friend Chris, who lives in Illinois & every year they have what they call "Pumpkin Town U.S.A.", which is exhibited for a week around the city. The theme changes every year and for 2010 they chose to do "Heroes and Villains". Then, the local High School picked "Batman" as the theme for their display. Here are just a few examples! Check out this amazing creativity, I totally love this! They have made scarecrows of the Caped Crusader, Robin, the Batmobile ( ha ha ), The Joker ( both the comic book version & Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight movie ), & Two-Face!! Well, they have not made the complete costume for Two-Face yet but they have made the pumpkin head for him & you can already tell it's gonna be very cool. I love the photo where Batman and Robin are working out on the weight bench & Batman is spotting Robin, hilarious!! Also, the Batmobile ( Riding Lawnmower ) is great stuff!! I wanna thank Chris for sharing this wonderful story with us & taking the great pics....this is fun! Plus, This is just in time to wake-up the Halloween spirit!!

Yes! In response to a post we did yesterday here at the Bat-Blog we received 2 awesome photos of a few Batman Fans getting very creative this holiday season! Here are 2 Halloween Pumpkins with a Batman-Theme! The 1st one is a BATMAN Jack O'Lantern Pumpkin inspired by "THE LONG HALLOWEEN" Graphic Novel. yeah, you remember this image of the "Batman Pumpkin", it's very iconic & our friend Jimmie did an amazing job on it. Now the next pumpkin isn't carved, it's painted, but it's extremely cool as well. This was created by our friend Josh. He's a very talented Graphic Artist & he painted the face of the Joker... it looks great! Thanks to both guys for sharing their creativity & love of the Batman character. If any other Bat-Blog Readers out there have something to share, then please do!
We just got this wonderful photo from a Bat-Blog Reader named Justin. It seems he is already in the Halloween spirit, that's cool! The other night he carved a Jack O'Lantern Pumpkin with this Batman Logo Bat-Symbol, it looks really good, nice sharp lines. Thanks Justin, you did a great job on it!! OK, I wanna take a moment to ask all Batman Fans that if they make a Batman-related Pumpkin or work on a Costume for Halloween this year to please send us a pic. Plus, if you have any Vintage Photos then that's good too. Thanks.
I totally love when Batman Fans get really creative & this is also a wonderful news story. This photo is from our friend Chris, who lives in Southern Illinois. To be exact, he lives in Anna, Illinois & every year ( around October 1st ) they have what they call "Pumpkin Town U.S.A." which is exhibited for a week around the city. The theme changes and this year it is "Heroes and Villians".The local High School chose Batman and this bale of hay is the basis for their display. Chris said they are working on other artworks which will feature Batman, Robin, The Joker & even the Scarecrow! This sounds extremely cool and we really look forward to seeing those as well ( Thanks Chris! ).
A new friend to the Bat-Blog, named Jared, sent us a photo of his BATMAN Jack O' Lantern Pumpkin. He carved it last year but he said he didn't know about the Bat-Blog then so he's sending it now, ha ha. Oh man, it looks totally WICKED! Seriously, he did a great job on it. It shows Batman flying through the sky of Gotham City. It even has the Bat-Signal symbol in the air...very cool! Thanks for sharing this Jared & if any other Bat-Blog Fans have cool pics like this to send then please do. Our e-mail button is ALWAYS on the top right hand side of this page. SAFE & HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY!!
Our good buddy Cape made this totally cool Batman-theme Jack O' Lantern Pumpkin!! Of course it was inspired by "The Long Halloween" Comic Book Graphic Novel & I think he did an amazing job on it!! Well, I think his Mom helped a little bit ...but he did most of the work. With the holiday just a few days away people are starting to go crazy. I hope YOU have your costume ready this year & HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY!! ( Thanks Cape, Great Job! )
A new friend to the Bat-Blog, named Jessica, sent us this wonderful photo of a BATMAN HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN she had made! She carved "I Love Batman" on the side & the great thing is she used the vintage 1970's style logo...I love it! Jessica, you did a great job on this & thanks for sending the cool pic! The photo of this super-excellent Jack O'Lantern design was so BIG I decided to make it a Desktop Wallpaper you can use as a background in a MySpace layout or just to decorate your computer's desktop for the holidays...BATTY HALLOWEEN!! ( Please click on it for the larger version, it looks way cooler that way! ).
OK, everyone remembers the recent post we did of the "Batman Jack O' Lantern Pumpkin" we posted here at the Bat-Blog recently that was done by a reader named Brian. Well, it looks like he has made another one & it's just as amazing!! Brian was pretty happy with how the Batman one came out so he knew he had to create a Joker one to go with it. He choose the "Heath Ledger Joker" from The Dark Knight Batman movie. I think it looks incredible, a very good job indeed!! So, here's the photo! ( Thank you Brian for sharing this, it looks GREAT!! ). I wanna wish a HAPPY HALLOWEEN to all the Batman Fans around the world!
A Bat-Blog Reader named Brian (who lives in Grand Rapids, MI) sent us this magnificent photo of his recently-created BATMAN Halloween Jack O' Lantern Pumpkin he just carved! Brian, you did a great job on this, seriously. The silhouette of Batman's face looks really good & the Dark Knight Bat-Logo is a nice choice. It's great to see that you're in the holiday spirit & also a true Batman Fan! Thanks for sending the pic! I love when readers get creative so if anybody else makes a Jack O' Lantern Pumpkin or Costume ( Child or Adult ) this Halloween then please send us some photos.
